US TV: Revenge

"Emily's first-season ability to think, and execute, seven steps ahead of the Graysons and everyone else around her really made the show pop. Not since Sherlock Holmes had we seen that kind of a compulsive genius. (Or a pop-collered Watson as rad as Nolan. Have we mentioned that Nolan is great? Don't worry, we'll mention it again.)

In the second season, it seems like she's constantly scrambling to fix mistakes or address oversights. Last year, she knew way more than the audience; this year, it's the opposite."

I thought I would give up this series because it has become a typical soap opera already.  Stretching the evilness of the villains and too many bad things happening? But my curiosity got the better of me. 

Having said that, it is still not as stellar as the first season, pero you already got hooked with the characters that you will really wonder what happened to them.

Nolan is still my favorite character.  I find Daniel cute thats why I am rooting for him and (fake) Emily. (and totoo ba na sila in real life?).  Aiden though is not bad. 

Ang daming loopholes nga lang ngayon.  And how cliche is it that the mother is still alive? I won't be surprised if the father is also alive.  (Time to really give up this series if that happens)

If only they casted a better actor for Jack, then I will be more loyal to this show.

i think because the screenwriters didn't expect the series to hit remember they had a week or two mid season before to tweak a couple of things to extend the series, they're cramming so much in that it's getting to the brink of confusing and unthought of

Part of the reason rin, controlled ng network executives mga nangyayari behind the scenes. Even the costumes/wardrobe papakialaman nila. These are the suits that know nothing about the creative process of the show. Look at all the other shows on the network Revenge is running, puro dramatics (Grey's, PPractice, Scandal), yet hindi naman masasabing quality TV. Lahat yan, may network exec notes.  It wasn't like that in their business a decade ago. Sadly, it's what THEIR audience wants rin, mala Daytime TV kasi sa kanila patok and they want to do that sa Primetime (gabi) kasi $ sa advertisers. Kahit saan yata sa world, telenovela format patok.

No, don't die Amanda! Dapat Jack-Amanda pa din, I don't like Jack-Emily, di bagay. Mas gusto ko pa yung other guy for Amanda.

Ang creepy ng nanay nila. Parang naniniwala ako kay Victoria na she wanted to kill Amanda. Too bad, hindi malalaman ni Emily.

Nakakaawa naman si Emily.  Her mother wants to kill her noong bata siya, tapos ngayon Victoria wants her dead.  Feeling ko mabubuhay itong si Amanda pero meron siyang amnesia.

Ano kaya ang agenda noong mayaman na ninakawan kuno ni Declan.  Why is he so intent on getting the bar?

Grabe na lang ang pagsisilbi ni Nolan kay Emily! Pagsisilbi talaga eh no, LOL. Sabagay, malaki ang utang na loob nya kay David, so malamang he'll be by Emily's side until the bitter end.

^ Super laking twist niyan kung pagtataksilan ni Nolan si Emily. Parang she can't do the revenge all by herself eh, kailangan talaga niya ng sidekick.

eh diba nga friend ng father ni emily si nolan at binilin ya ito sa kanya. kaya imposibleng pabayaan nya si emily.
