Is it better to be Physically Attractive or Intelligent?

Then again, it depends on how well one uses what one has. Maganda ka nga, di mo naman napakinabangan ng bongga, wala rin. Ganun din kung may utak ka, di mo naman ginagamit, panis pa din.
(i.e. naging kabitski ka lang ng politiko or artista imbes na maging international superstar ka; or you're stuck making other people (your bosses) look good instead of building your own empire)

I'd rather be intelligent. Ayaw na ayaw ko yun mga babaeng ubod ng ganda pero pag nagsalita, mapapa duh ako.

Beauty cannot take u THAT far. Sure it might open a few doors for you but once people realise you're nothing but that, hanggang dun ka na lang. Brains pa rin.

Good example are those "beauties" from the show Beauty and the Geek. Nakakaloka sila!! Parang naiisip ko nga, nagaral ba tong mga to?!?

Entrepreneurs naman use guts and determination rather than intelligence/looks.

^ Yes, super models are better paid but until when? remember there's always a new generation so syempre mauungusan din sila. As sa scientists, well, depende kung saang bansa, malamang abroad oo malaki ng kita.

Entrepreneurs also use their brain (that's why they have guts & confidence). To be fair they have the charm BUT charming does not equate to being pretty right?

People are a shallow lot. 

Anyway, physical beauty is right there. It's very easy to appreciate.
Appreciating smarts takes effort.

The physical attributes is a bonus pareng spartan, You will be more glorified if you are beauty and smart at the same time.

...but it's human nature to gravitate to that which is pleasing to the eyes,  intelligence comes after.

Case in point, sa recruitment mas masarap interviewhin ang maganda kesa sa "aesthetically challenge", and faced with two people who are both qualified for the job we tend to choose the "pleasing personality" over the "ordinary mortal".  Unless si ordinary mortal ay summa cum laude, presidential awardee, or a Fulbright scholar.  But all things being equal aba, dun ka sa maganda.

I think it is better to be intelligent than to be physically attractive. Beauty is useless if you don't have the brains.

Physically attractive. It does not equate to being dumb. I'd rather be attractive + average IQ than super intelligent + not physically attractive for all the practical reasons I could think of.

Maganda pero bobo, magkakatrabaho pa rin, but what happens when the not so attractive ones lose their intelligence? Just my POV.

I don't believe na may taong bobo talaga na hindi na pwedeng "iupgrade", pwedeng hindi magaling sa academics, or hindi street smart or process/system ignoramus pero walang bobo.  Unless mentally challenge, and in that case hindi pa rin bobo, differently able lang talaga.  PERO may tao talagang pangit.  Yes beauty is relative but aversion to what is accepted as pleasant (pleasing to the eyes) is pangit.

^ may mga taong slow talaga and kahit anong turo mo, hindi talaga natututo. we cant deny that fact. thats what i meant by hindi pwede iupgrade. meron namang mga taong mahina kasi hindi natuturuan pero matalino pala, kumbaga hindi pa nila nadidiscover that they can actually perform better, pero meron talagang sadyang mahina kahit na anong turo, walang development.

Super dooper agree! I know I am not super attractive ha, pero yung kaibigan ko nagkekwento na ilang beses na daw nakuha ang license niya (ahm, she's not that pleasant looking).. pero kasi ako never pa eh. I would just usually smile at the traffic enforcer tapos pinapatawad niya na ako (take note, lagay na to, hindi pa ako super attractive). What more can I command pag super attractive ako di ba? Pak!
