Travelling to Colombia

Hi guys!

I need tips on travelling to Colombia. What is the best airplane to take since there are no direct flights? What is the cheapest I can purchase? Also which country stopovers are the easiest that doesn't require transit visa? US need transit visa.

i've been thinking too if i should include colombia in my itinerary for '14. i want to go to cano cristales, said to be the most beautiful river in the world. it looks surreal nga based on pics alone

We are in Colombia right now. Colombia is beautiful! We've been to Brazil and Peru but if I were to choose from 3 i would choose Colombia. We went to Bogota, Bucaramanga and Cartagena. Colombians are very friendly, happy people.
