Everyone wants a web page now. Would you rather create your own website or hire someone to do it? I'm not talking about the free one's like blogger ha. Fully customized personal website.

• Create your content
• Create the Design
• Upload all your html and images to your hosting service
• Spread the Word

I strongly agree to this. Even if the website is small.

Unfortunately, karamihan ng small businesses have this thinking na mahal ang professional website designer's services, so they design websites by themselves.

Well in the beginning maybe this is okay, but eventually a web designer's services will still be needed as the business expands.

I believe that businesses should invest on their site and wag dun sa mura lang or make sure na quality of work is excellent.  It's a digital world! thing is, people would go to their site even before they visit the physical store/hotel/whatever-business. So if napangitan or na-cheapan sila sa website, i dont think people would still visit their businesses. Just my POV, no bias just because I'm a designer too.

Bumping this up are there new workshops or classes for this? Actually i think i prefer a one on one kasi my schedule is not so versatile. If i enroll in a class there is a chance that i might not be able to attend it. Im usuallybon call.

Does anyone here knows who want to teach website building? Pls pm me your recommendation. Thanks

IF your website is just for personal use or portfolio, you can just make your own. Dagdag din yun sa portfolio mo. But, if you're running a business and you like to have complex structures and functions in your website, leave it to the professionals. Unless you're a professional web designer yourself.

You can try to check First Academy of Computer Arts. They have short courses for Web Design.

Hi, ask ko lang kung para saan ang hosting lito kasi ako, plan ko bumili ng sarili kong domain sa godaddy dot com pero ption dun nakakalito lang, puwede ba yung wala ng monthly na bayad kasi yun yung hate ko yung every month merong babayaran na parang nagrerent ng room. Hindi naman ako all the time na nasa internet gusto ko lang ng sariling blog para mas mukhang serious talaga na site (excuse me hindi po yung site na na nasa signature ko yung ipapa domain ko  )

Kung after ka lang naman sa blog na walang babayaran, gawa ka na lang ng blog na nasa blogger.com or wordpress.com sites. Tapos ilagay mo na lang ang custom domain sa settings.

Oh I see thanks freelancer_babe. Yung pangalawang sinabi mo mukhang need ko magsearch about that. Ibig sabihin ba yung custom domain ko na ilalagay ko sa settings ko magiging mysite.com na siya or site.blogspot.com pa rin? sorry I am illiterate pagdating sa ganyan
