Just got home fr slmc qc.  Im really happy with them. Worth it yung fees coz their staff are competent, polite, friendly, responds quickly.  The facilities are clean and new.  Doctors are very good as well.  Sis red apple, dra. Supan is very nice. My husband and i are very happy with her. Nahirapan sya sa pagdeliver ng baby (shared it sa kabilang thread) pero very successfully pa rin. And di sya nagtetake advantage. She advises you on how to save kasi nga medyo mahal sa slmc.  Yung pedia partner nya, dra reynoso is very good and nice too.  So far, tofal PF was 61k pero binigyan kami ng disct then, sa slmc sa kin, 66k. Wala pa yung sa baby kasi di pa namin sya naiuwi but running total as of kanina nasa 36k. If you have questions, go and ask lang

I gave birth via CS at SLMC Global last Sep 2011, costing us Php 180K++. My OB is Dra. Rebecca Singson. Their birthing suite is the best! Im giving birth again this August 2013, and sa SLMC Global pa rin

^Yup, slmc na magfile but they will give a copy of the original, un one of the forms that we sign. If you need a registered copy asap, in a week's time, ok na un sa city hall. But with an NSO copy, 3 weeks to a month.

^^they will give you a copy of babys birth cert after discharge, issued by the hospital and can be used for baptism. Then after a month, call ka slmc to get the reg number of babys certified true copy birth certificate para pag nagpunta ka nso, mas mabilis hanapin. Una nga we thought yung orig birth cert ang ibibigay ng slmc, yun pala number lang ang i-issue nila.

Hi Sis funky f! good to know that you had a great service from slmc and our OB !  thanks for the info, btw naka small private room ba kayo? Yan ba original quote sayo ni OB or dahil may mga emergency complications syang nakita na di expected?

Small private kami. Over over kami sa quote, actually, not naman quote talaga but more of estimate kasi unexpected yung difficulty ng delivery ko pati nagkaroon ng complications si baby.  But then, worth it naman coz we really were given good service

If hindi kasama yung pf ni ob and anesth sa hospital bill will it be cheaper? My ob kasi still wont disclose her tf and i cant find any one who i can ask for her tf, btw, shes dra. Pilar lagman-dy. she told us to prepare 40k lang and get the semi private room sa slqc. Sabi pa ok lang kahit installment yung sa kanya kasi mas important yung sa hospital...may nakabudget naman kami if ever kaya lang nakakakaba kasi paghindi mo alam kung magkano babayaran hehe
Also do i need to call pa ba slqc for a tour, o pwedeng punta lang kami ni hubby para sumilip and inquire? I've read in some threads at dito na wala packages for first timers...sad naman.

yung anes ko is 15k less 3k dahil sa philhealth. then yung PF ng OB ko naman is 27k less 2k dahil din sa philhealth. total bill is 82k, private room, 2 days. 6 hours sa HRPU + 2 hours recovery room included na rin sa 82k pala. SLQC pala ako,last Nov 4 lang. =)

^^^Yung pf ng ob ko was 33.6K (30K + 12% vat pa kase). Yung anes naman 15K. I gave birth in 2011.

btw yung sa pedia ba kasama yun sa hospital fee? Si hospital ba magpoprovide o should i ask ob pa?

A ok, pero yun talaga fee nya? Ayaw kasi magsabi din ni Ate Jenny(sec) e. sa amin naman kasi sa 2 miscarriages from from other ob sa kanya lang ako naging ok, so ok lang kay hubby yung gastos. Actually even before ako magpunta sa kanya may budget na kami kasi kakagaling ko lang din sa miscarriage before ako nagpunta sa kanya. I'll ask her na lang ulit next sat. pero super thank you parin ako kasi sinunod ko yung suggestion mo sa kanya, 1st cycle ko kasi hit kami agad.

Oo yun talaga fee nya kasi tinanong namin sa kanya yun nung nagpositive ako, siya mismo
ang nagsabi sa amin ng fee nya.

Yun nga lang kahit na pwedeng installment, kelangan ko lumipat kasi di naman sagot ng healthcard
namin ang panganganak, lagpas sa budget namin, so I switched to a different OB. Mabigat man sa loob ko.
Kasi paano pa pag na-CS ako, aabutin na ako ng 200k. Which is what happened to me nga.

Question mga sis, how did you learned yung PF ng mga doctors nyo, was it upon discharge nya (upon bill settlement) or did you ask your OBs beforehand?

I'm wondering kasi how to negiotiate with my OB in my next check up about this para kasing ang hirap i-open up and mahingi yung consideration nya when it comes to charges haha! any tips mga sis?

^Yung OB ko di niya sinabi yung pf niya not until paalis na kami ng hospital. Basta ang binigay niya lang na amount yung minimum na dapat nakaprepare. 120K pag normal, 180K pag CS.

Same, sis, we only found out when we were about to be discharged na. Yung secretary ni OB nagsabi.  Di ko rin matanong abt the PF during consultation pero my hubs asked hpw much we shld prepare.
