I gave birth sa St. Lukes Global in 2010. Great experience talaga! New facilities and just like what previous GT said, maasikaso and maalaga. My ob was Dr. Angela Bandola. She's super galing. My husband has work benefit na nag-cover ng bulk of our expenses, plus philhealth pa. So actually we only shelled out mga 50k after we got our reimbursements. Galing din ng mga anesthesiologists, kasi they were the ones taking pictures sa delivery room--- so my husband was also in the pictures pa. Sana maulit pa uli if I am blessed with another pregnancy pa.

^ sis pag may Philhealth ba how much ang nababawas sa bill? never pa kasi namin nagamit Philhealth namin ni hubby. TIA

Hi sis, mga 16-20k if I remember correctly. And that includes the philhealth for me and for baby. You just have to make sure you have all your forms and some other documents. I talked to the billing department of St. Lukes a few months before my due date to make sure I had all the requirements they need. In the end, they deducted my philhealth from the final bill so hindi ko na kinailangan magpa-reimburse pa.

I gave birth at SLQC last year and super thankful ako kasi doon ko napili. Dapat kasi TMC kasi mas malapit. Sabi ng OB ko kung sa TMC na-CS ako kasi hindi ako marunong umire, na karaniwang nangyayari pag nagpa-epidural. 1 1/2 days lang kami sa semi-private room at around 84K ang nagastos namin.

anyone here who recently gave birth at SLMC QC? just want to know kung nagtaas na ba sila ng rates. i gave birth there last july 2010. un breakdown ng charges are as follows: hospital charges baby & me: 34k, 2-bed 2.5 days via CS. OB 45k, pedia 5k, anes 16k. umabot ng 100k less philhealth na. i really love my OB Dra. Josefina Morales, kaso baka sobrang mahal na. i read somewhere na may discount pag 2nd time, is this true?

magnolia94 - thanks for the info sis! pwede palang 2 philhealth ang gamitin? kasi meron si hubby at meron din ako. kaya lang yung kay baby pwede ko na syang i-apply as my dependent kahit hindi pa sya lumalabas?

purple_guess07 - sis okay yung total bill mo mas mura dun sa quote ng OB ko. via CS pa. kasi ang quote sakin for CS is 120K-150K

^sis, un total ko ganyan din. malaki lang na less ng philhealth around 14k sa hospital charges, tapos lahat ng doctors ko accredited kaya less philhealth na rin un PF nila. so most likely same pa rin un price?cheapest room na un kinuha ko which is the 2-bed, wala naman ward sa st luke's pag sa mga nanganak.

^i was referring to QC dun kasi ako nanganak. pero parang di ata ok un 4-bed (IMHO). kasi what if room-in lahat ng babies, tapos kakatulog pa lang ng baby mo, may isa na naman iiyak parang kawawa naman, sa mommies medyo ok pa. based on experience, hehe..

^correct ka sis.. That was also one of the reasons why we opted for the 2-bed room when I gave birth.. But since hindi pa ganun kadami patients sa global, solo namin ang 2-bed, para na rin kami nakaprivate room.

Meron ata sila discounted rates ngayon under "We Care" Package. I cant remember lang how much pero mga 20-30%discount for normal delivery and CS. Kasama na ata doctors fees so alam mo how much to prepare. Im sure you can call to inquire about the rates and malaman kung sinong mga OB doctors ang covered.

hi mommies, suggest naman kayo ng OB in slmc qc na mura lang maningil, i have OB kasi in slmc qc kaya lang gusto ko sya palitan, sa services ok naman sya reply agad everytime na magtext ako or call if ma-late reply cya mega explain na nasa OR daw sya, maalaga din, pero ang mahal mamumulubi kami sa kanya kasi yuns sis in law ko nanganak din sa kanya last december 2010, inabot sila ng almost 200k, ewan ko kung dahil sa alam ng OB na singapore based sila, gusto kasi ng husband ko services ng st lukes eh...kaya sana may maisuggest kayo for me, super thank you in advance...

sis, ob ko sa st. luke's si dra. siodora. sobrang okay siya. siya din ang ob ng best friend ko. nung nanganak yung best friend ko, pumayag si dra. siodora na sa ibang hospital yung delivery even though talagang st. luke's ang hospital niya. single mom kasi yung best friend ko and hindi niya kaya yung rates ng st. luke's at the time. very understanding and mabait talaga si dra. siodora. she's one of those doctors na talagang passion niya yung pagtulong at pag-alaga sa mga patients niya.

Si dra joan esguerra naman ob ko and nung 2 kakilala ko na all praises sa kanya. They gave birth already ako sa april na. I feel i'm in good hands kaya excited na ko. She has a clinic both in qc and global. Kahit same rate, sa qc ako kasi yun ang malapit samin.

May we care package ang st. Lukes applicable for those who will be giving birth to their 2nd or succeeding child wag lang first born.

We care package
Normal delivery 2 days confinement
Ward (4 in a room) - 56k
Semi private (2 in a room) - 58k

Cs delivery 4 days confinement
Ward - 94k
Semi private - 98k

Pag nag small private di na package for normal delivery quote sakin ni ob plus 30k daw so around 90k.

sa mga nanganak sa global, how much yung philhealth na nabawas sa inyo? sa kin kase 3K lang, pag nagbabasa ako sa ibang forum umaabot yung iba ng more than 10K sa ibang hospital
