yes naririnig ko si Dra elio dami din siya patients, sis you will know pag magaling ob mo once you feel palagay sa kanya,,sakin kase yung OB ko si Dr. Menefrida Reyes super panatag ako sa kanya pag nag check up siya sa akin more than 1 hr ganun din sa iba niyang patients kaya dapat ahead of time ka punta kase hindi siya nagmamadali mag check upng patients niya. That's one factor na im looking for pag nagpapatingin ako sa Dr. Yung trabaho namin sis as Clinical pharmacist is mag check talaga nang medication bago mabigay sa patient and bago madischarge patient you will be instructed by a CP regarding your take home medications,unless maistruct ka na nang physician mo di ka na naman instruct

yes sis sya nga yun. sa QC naman ako nagpapacheck up sa kanya. nagpa-quote ka na ba how much magagastos pag nanganak ka? interested kasi ako sa birthing suite pero di nya nabanggit samin yung tungkol dun.

Yung friend ko nanganak sa qc 80k bill nila. 2 days in a semi private room normal delivery. Sabi nya may promo pa daw pag 2nd baby onwards pag sa 1st baby like her case di applicable ang promo. Same rate lang din daw sa global at qc.

Looking forward na din akong manganak sa april with our 2nd child.

^yup sis, if on going pa din un promo, 56-58k un package for nsd and 96-98k for cs, since it's for your 2nd child na, pasok ka na sa promo.. I availed their cs package, their service was A OK!!

@yna_alex..hindi ko pa tinanong sis,medyo maaga pa kasi 13 weeks pa lang ako.. ikaw ilang weeks na?

20 weeks na ngayon sis. medyo matagal pa naman, pero as early as 2nd month tinanong ko na ang dapat naming i-prepare na budget sa panganganak mas mabuti na kasi yung naka-ready.

Hi mga sis, I'm actively reading this thread since I'm interested to give birth at St. Lukes as well, my doctor/s are Dra Stephanie Supan and Dra Elsie Pascua.  Reliever kasi ni Dra Pascua si Dra Supan so kahit sino sa kanila will be okay for me.

So just keep on posting mga sis kung sino mga Drs nyo and how much yung total bills nyo (NSD/CS).  Not yet pregnant pero I want to be updated so we can prepare din for future since I'm TTC.

I just gave birth yesterday at st. Luke's global. I had a wonderful experience! and I was surprised that our bill is less almost 20k than what we spent at tmc when i give birth to my eldest last 2010. I had NSD with epidural and stayed on private room for 1 night. It only cost 48k anes pf included. No pf from my ob and pedia coz they're my relatives, lucky me.ü

Just to share also, all the staff are very nice. The food is great too. If you want to save few penny, bring what you need like diaper if you'll use one and baby's supplies like diaper, cotton, alcohol,etc coz it costs 3x when you get it from the hospital.

Yes. Room in agad. Even sa recovery room kasama si baby. And they allow husband to go inside the delivery & recovery room.Ü

Wow may thread na pala dito ang st Luke's before I worked here naks naman one of the world's best hospital. Nakakamiss ang Amoy ng hospital at yun Mga friends ko.

i also gave birth to SLMC QC last july 2010. it's up to you sis. di naman required pero mas makakasave ka siyempre pag room-in na si baby. separate kasi charges ng room ng mom sa baby. post CS din ako, the following day ko na hiningi si baby kasi mas ok na pakiramdam ko, nagpalakas lang muna ako. naawa din ako kay baby, kasi glucose lang pala binibigay, since they want to promote breastfeeding. buti na lang din pag room in ni baby, tuloy-tuloy na milk supply ko

Dr Menefrida Reyes siya yung OB ko..super bait as in..parang mommy ang tingin ko sa kanya parang super at ease ako and i feel really safe with her

purple_guess07 - oo nga sis yun din kasi ang concern ko gusto ko makasama agad si baby pero mas okay sana kung magpapalakas muna ako right after giving birth. saka iniisip ko for sure maraming visitors na darating baka maistorbo lagi si baby

^ speaking of visitors, my OB advised me na as much as possible less visitors the better, for baby's sake. kaya advantage nun 1st day na di ko kasama si baby. kasi paglabas ko ng recovery room, habang nasa stretcher ako hala ang daming naka-abang saken, natouch ako siyempre pero narealize ko di rin pala ok. kasi pag CS bawal magsalita baka kabagan, hala ang kulit ng mga pinsan and tita ko, tawa ko ng tawa. buti na lang di ako kinabagan. mas maganda kung masasabihan sila na wait na lang kayo ni baby pag-uwi saka na lang sila visit sa house. isa ko pang dilemma, kelangan ko magexcuse kasi every 2 hours nagnu-nurse db, so kung may visitor kelangan nila lumabas. di pa kasi ako nakabili ng nursing cover. nakakatuwa din pala sa SLMC, tuwing may makakakita saken nagpapa breastfeed, inaappreciate nila; un mga nurse, residents, even doctors. they even teached me how to latch properly, daming advise. very helpful talaga un mga people dun.
