HI girls! My friends and I are flying to SR on June 22 and we'll be there for 3 nights. Hindi kasi mahilig sa temples yung mga kasama ko so we're thinking of doing this IT:

June 22
9:30pm - ETA SRIA
10:30pm - Check in (undecided pa kung saan)

June 23
6:30am - Leave for Bus to Pnohm Penh
7:30am - ETD from SR (Bus to PP via Giant Ibis)
2:30pm - ETA PP
4:00pm - ETA Killing Fields and S21
7:00pm - Check-in (undecided parin)
8:00pm - Free time

June 24
7:00am - Leave for Bus back to SR
8:30am - ETD from PP (via Giant Ibis)
3:30pm - ETA SR
4:30pm - Check in
5:30pm - Pub street and Old Market

June 25
4:30am - Sunrise in Angkor [textspeak!]
6:30am - Breakfast
8:00am - Temple Tours
6:00pm - Late check out
7:00pm - ETD for SRIA
10:30pm - Flight back to Manila


Kaya ba to ng 3 girls? LOL!  I just want to know kung feasible ba ito kasi yung friends ko, nagpupumilit mag-PP. Worried lang ako na baka hindi namin maabutan yung Killing fields and S21 kasi nabasa ko somewhere na hanggang 5pm lang sila.

For the SR accommodations, I'm thinking of Golden Butterfly Villa, Golden Temple Hotel, Happy GH, Sam So GH and Motherhome GH.

I'm still looking for an okay hostel in PP. Hope to hear from all of you soon. Thanks in advance!

i think when i was there bou savy quoted me $20 for the tour (not sure of the price) plus $12 for the tuktuk.

when i went to a travel agency, tour package is $15 dollars, may IT na sila, may tour guide at may van service. it is a group tour.

exluded lang yung 20$ na ticket at meals. which i think this is good.

dont miss the sunrise. it is amazing!

i availed the 3- night accommodation + 2 day-tour package of bou savvy. 87usd for 3 nights, twin accommodation, inclusive of breakfast, transfers and one time dinner.

I think okay na siya kasi roughly 2k lang yun per person. But i think pwedeng accommodation lang kunin niyo sa kanila then book na kayo separate ng tour. Parang sa kwento ni sis shiecg, yung sumundo sa kanila sa airport, yun na yung kinuha nila for tour.

Hi guys! Anyone tried the casino bus? I initially considered trains going to Aranyapraphet but 7 hours is more than my butt can take  thru bus 99 dawm 3-4 hours lang from BKK to the border.

Baka may pupunta sa inyo sa SR by end of Nov

You can take a bus. It is about 3.5 hours to the border then another 4 hours from the border to Bangkok.

I took the night bus. It leaves SR at 2:30 and I arrived BKK at 1pm. Medyo matagal kasi una sa lahat palpak yung bus company, late dumating. 3:30 na kami nakaalis ng SR. Dumating kami ng poipet ng 630 am. Border opens at 7. So the whole immigration thing will take you about an hour kasi hihintayin nio pa yung ibang kasamna nio sa bus. Normally, iba ang bus na sasakyan pag nasa Thailand border na. I paid $12 for this. Uber hassle to kasi palpak talaga yung Grand VIP bus ata yung name.

If I had the extra money, I would have taken the direct bus from SR to BKK. VIP bus etey at hindi mo kelangan magpalit ng bus. Hassle kasi yung pagpalit ng bus kasi you have to carry all your luggages with you from border to border at malayo ang lalakarin ha. Mga 300 meters siguro.  This direct bus is $28 dollars. Malapit sa KFC sa SR yung office nung bus company. Paki google na lang.    This trip is about 7-8 hours daw. Leaves at 7am ata.

^ sis try nyo yung casino bus aka bus 99 located near hsbc bldg in Lumpini Park. This might be our option din, I've been reading great reviews about it. Instead na sa Aranyapraphet ka idrop off sa mismong border na. I've read about PExers din recommending that.

I just received an e-mail from my daughter with more info. Buses are not in any central area. They're just parked around Lumphini Park. She caught the 8:00 am bus. Thinks they start around 5:30-6:00 am, hourly. Fare is 200 THB and it goes to Poipet, not Aranyaprathet. Normally the train, other buses take you to Aran and then you get a tuk-tuk from there to Poipet. So this cuts out that added expense/need and saves more time. Trip takes 3 1/2-4 hours.

She said beware of border crossing scams. Get passport stamped Thai side, then walk about 100 yds. under 'Angkor''Welcome to Cambodia' archway to Cambodian border post to buy Cambodian visa, have fingerprints scanned and passport stamped. At the exit from the border post onto big roundabout there are official, free transit buses to take you to 'Poipet Tourist Passenger International Terminal' 10 minutes down the road from where all the share taxis and buses are leave for SR, Battambang, or PP.

ok, you can take the same bus company; Nattakarn. taxi will cost you a lot most likely.

Nasa Bangkok kami now. Tomorrow morning pa Siem Reap kami via train  til monday  sa SR and Phonm Pehn hanggang friday. Inavail namin promo sa bousavy, ok na siguro na tour to mga sis?

Matagal ba ang 4 days kung Siem Reap lang magtour? Interested din ako sa Bangkok-Siemreap leg.  Ilang days kaya ang dapat i-allot? Wait pa ako ng promo airfare hehe

For those who are thinking to go to Bangkok from SR or BKK to SR, here is an info about the direct BUS.

Trust me, kung hindi direct bus ang kukunin nio at isang katerba ang bagahe mo, sobrang hassle pagdating sa border. Kasi kelangan mong bitbitin ang bagahe mo from border to border at medyo mahabang lakaran ang gagawin mo.  With the direct bus, you just get off the bus, leave your bags there and the bus will be waiting for you at the other side of the border.
