Hi mga sis! I'll be in SR tom. together with my parents and still have no idea where to go and what to do. We'll be taking Cebu pacific flights so both are at night, we only have 2 full days to explore. Any tips on which temples Lang we should see? I'm thinking mga 3- 5 temples para di masyado pagod

^If you have full two days, do the small circuit on Day 1 and go the the further temples like Banteay Srey for the second day. Sunrise or sunset is optional and will usually have additional fee.

For the small circuit, the highlights would be Angkor  W A T (obviously), Ta Phrom (Tomb Raider temple) and Bayon.

You can also opt to go back to downtown for a couple of hours break, but talk to your tuktuk driver. Some of them charge a minimal fee for the gas it takes to go back. We did this kasi sobrang init midday nung pumunta kami nung end ng April. We had lunch, rested and went back out again. This helped us not feel "templed out" by afternoon.

What other airlines aside frm CebuPac na may flight straight to Cambodia to Philippines? Hirap ng CP, puro midnight yung flight :-(

^tama sis,that is what we did yesterday.putrajaya tour lang since I have been to kl na.we are in Phnom Penh today.buti ok ang weather.Maya gala ulit.

^hay na-miss ko bigla ang putrajaya...:-) nakakaloka nung pumunta kami diyan, kasi parang 2 beses kaming ng-joy ride..:-) di namin alam kung saan kami bababa...kaloka kasi sa malaysia, walang masyadong english translation sa paligid...:-)

Is it ok to wear shorts & sleveless sa angkor [textspeak!]?

^ yes. ako din during our sunrise trip to angkor w-a-t unsure kaya i wore capri and shirt. but when we got there andaming nakashorts and sleeveless. so when we went back to the hotel for breakfast nagpalit na ako ng damit. good thing too kasi sobrang init.

ok lang naman mag-shorts, wala naman silang dress protocol...:-) although, apply off lotion, kasi you'll never know kung malamok sa isang temple or what...:-)

we were there 3 weeks ago.if you plan to go to the highest level of angkor w.a.t. better dress modestly because there are those manning the steps on the way up na bawal.may babae na revealing ang top na di pinayagan umakyat.you can still go around the place those basta not the highest level,where mt.meru is symbolized

@sis foruiz-ito ba yung temple na may nilagyanan ng hagdanan? di kasi kami umakyat nun, dahil ang daming tao...although may pinuntahan kaming isang temple na di masyadong pinupuntahan, na matarik din ang pag-akyat at mataas din siya, wala kasing mga naka-post na mga tao...dun talagang gumapang kami paakyat at pababa...wala kasi hagdanan na nilagay
