liz carlyle books are good. talagang iba-iba yung mga stories and circumstances ng mga characters niya. connected kasi sila lahat, in a way, but you dont have to read it in order. yung mga "series" kasi nag-ooverlap in a way with each other kasi magkakakilala yung mga characters something.

...come to think of it, para ngang mas marami na mga historical romances na ebooks sa kindle ko. wah gotta look for contemporary ones na. may times kasi na feel ko pare-pareho lang plots ng historical novels.

when i read a julie garwood series, i have to read it in between contemporaries or paranormal novels.

I just finished "A Rose In Winter" by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss last night. Super love ko yung story. Lovable ang hero and the heroine. Full of intrigues and mysteries. A beauty and the beast kind of tale with a twist. Highly recommended read

Im not sure if what Im gonna recommend is a historical one. I read The Wayward Muse like a hundred times and its really good. It happened a hundred years ago and the characters/relationships happened

Empire by Gore Vidal --- he's a master at shaping characters... talagang you will want to know each one intimately...
Also The Queen's Confession by Victoria Holt... written in 1st person and - even though you know what ultimately happens to marie antoinette -- the way she traverses nostalgia, bitterness, panic and awe is a journey in itself...

I read that book years ago, and I remember feeling sorry for her afterwards. The way her story was presented in the book (naive girl sent to marry a stranger in another country and become its queen despite lacking the talent/intelligence needed to rule) made it seem like she was set to fail from the beginning.

Sequels series "Once and Always" , "Something Wonderful" and "Almost Heaven" by Judith McNaught ba sis? I have read the first 2, hindi naman related yung mga stories nila

So I think kahit hindi in order mo basahin ay okay lang

yes indeedy... and marie antoinette's own mother was first to see it coming... i wouldn't mind a similar take on a fictional autibio of, say, any of Henry VIII's ex-wives...
