I have a friend who's turning 32 in a few months. NBSB. No manliligaw ever. Hindi naman siya swanget. Talagang wala lang chance for her to meet ok na guys. Kami na nga ng ibang friends namin ang nagwo-worry for her. So at 25, ikaw, ok ka pa.

my cousin, already 29 years old, is still nbsb. i guess siya naman yung tipo na hindi lapitin. may pagka-amazona kasi hehe, pero may ganda naman tsaka sexy. the thing is, nagiging barkada niya yung mga guys na dapat sana prospect niya so nawawala raw yung kilig factor and stuff. sabi niya dati meron lang daw siyang 2 options: makahanap ng older guy at age 27 (feeling angelina) o wait na lang raw pag 40 na siya at maghanap ng younger guy (feeling demi). eh since 29 na siya, tawag na namin sa kanya demi moore. but she's super cool with it. she's one of the coolest girl i've ever met. di siya bitter unlike other girls and when she talks about love and life, parang mas may experience pa siya samin. sabi niya rin, nasa girl din daw kasi iyan kung "bubuksan niya yung pinto." naniniwala ako dito. gone are the days na ipu-pursue ka ng guy kung wala namang kasiguruhang sasagutin mo siya. so mabe you need to open your doors widely para sa mga guys. or maybe you need to ask na rin from heavens above para dumating na si the one mo.. ;)

I agree love knows no age! : )

May secretary kami sa office before which we call Tita. Old maid na talaga sya nung pumasok ako sa office. Then nag retired sya s age na 55. A year or 2 after yata yun, natagpuan ang true love nya at nagpakasal sila. Lawyer yung guy and ayun, last na balita, papasyal pasyal sila sa US at other countries.

being 25 and single isn't so bad at all. at least may lumalapit, hindi mo nga lang type. may mga nbsb ako na kilala na wala rin lumalapit. if ever meron mga palipad hangin lang. worse yun diba. single kang nananahimik tapos guguluhin ka ng mga lalakeng walang magawa sa buhay. at least TS is just single by choice, not because walang nanliligaw. eventually someone will come along. at least you're not settling.

Same here. I'm 26 na but nbsb pa rin. :( There were guys who tried to court me before pero hindi natutuloy because I didn't show any signs na I'm interested din. I'm shy din kasi. I don't talk that much specially around guys. I don't have high standards [textspeak!] ang gusto ko lang mas matangkad sa akin. E 5ft lang ako hehe. I don't feel pressured din by my friends na mag ka bf. Its just that I feel lonely lang talaga. And I also want to feel loved din naman. Nakakafrustrate lang talaga minsan. Haaayyy.

Somehow I can relate although I'm inlove with someone right now. Nbsb rin ako until I met my partner a few months ago lang (i'm 22 btw) may mga nanliligaw at paramdam rin pero di ko talaga sila feel. My friends would always tell me na ang choosy ko daw masyado and minsan sinasabi nila sagutin ko na rin si this guy and that guy since tumatanda na ko kahit isang bf never ako nagkaroon. Pero I didn't want to be in a relationship for the sake lang of having a boyfriend. Ayon bigla nalang dumating si guy ko ngayon. And I wasn't even looking for sparks. It just happened haha i think hindi mo pa talaga nahahanap yung right guy for you. It's ok to set standards as long as realistic naman and hindi ganun ka high

there's nothing wrong with being single at the age of 25. as long as you know what you want and what you need. never settle for less just because kailangan magka bf ka na, kasi na pressure ka na. Darating din yang para sayo sis  ;)

Mas mabuti nang maging single kaysa sa mag-jump into a relationship just for the sake of being in one.  It's true na there will be times na maiinggit ka sa friends mo who are in relationships or magwowonder ka what it would be like to be in one, pero ang pangit naman nun kung makikipag-boyfriend ka para lang masabi na hindi ka single.  It will not help your self-esteem and it's possible na mawalan pa ng respeto yung ibang tao sayo when they find out na you did it out of desperation and na pinapaasa mo lang yung guy kahit hindi ka naman seryoso.  It's not fair to the guy and it's not fair to you, both of you deserve to be with someone who'll really love and commit to you.

You may be pressured by friends na pumili na kaagad ng guy, saying na choosy ka and walang mangyayari pag ganyan, pero wag ka magpadala.  There is nothing wrong with having standards, as long as realistic naman sila.  It will help kung alam mo na kung alin dun sa listahan ang open for compromise and kung alin ang non-negotiables, para pag may dumating na prospect e makikita mo na kung may patutunguhan ba or waste of time lang.

Don't sell yourself short sis, I believe na makakahanap ka din ng karapat-dapat sayo, all in good time.  Habang hindi pa nangyayari yun, enjoy yourself, get to know yourself and the world better.  Wag ka maging stagnant kakaantay sa The One, live your life to the fullest and be your own person.  Don't let your world revolve on just one thing or just one person, you were meant to live a full existence, so go ahead and do that. :)

Being a 25 year old single woman is perfectly fine. But yeah, Helga is correct, you need to be approachable and presentable.

From a guy's perspective, let's say I see you at the mall and I find you really pretty, there's only a 50-50 chance that I'll approach you (I'm not that confident in approaching ladies). Plus, if you're with your girl friends, I don't think I can ever approach you.

So can you just imagine if all guys are like me? Unless you'll be set up on blind dates, mga reto or you're in a school/industry where you can meet a lot of guys, napaka-slim ng likelihood na may makikilala ka.
