So the procession of entourage really starts quarter to 3? Dapat pala maaga talaga like 2:30 pm for everyone. Wha time nakalagay sa invite mo? Thanks. 6 months to go nalang for me.

Hello everyone! Our ceremony was in St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori (Magallanes Church). Just want to give a heads up to brides considering the church.

They have super good service and they are super nice and easy to talk to. But they are very strict with the start time of the ceremony. When they say ceremony starts at 3pm, they really mean it!

We ran late during preps (not fault of coordinator) but mostly because my sister had bfast buffet at the hotel and when she got back, the videographer was shooting our ring shots in the bathroom. (I suppose he was in the bathroom because there was a water effect used with the rings). So my sis wasn't able to shower right away.

Because of this she started her makeup late. Also my mom and the rest of fam arrived 30 min late too at hotel. So this pushed back the pictorial sched. So I arrived at Magallanes at perhaps 3:05. Then as soon as my car arrived the processional started. LITTLE DID I KNOW my 2 brothers and their families weren't at the church yet since they got caught in some traffic!!!! But the church coordinator said they couldnt wait anymore... and so the processional happened without my 2 brothers, their wives, and my niece who are all part of the enoturage!

I would say that this was the biggest glitch of my wedding. My coordinator didnt inform me about it and I only found out the day after. Its a good thing I wasnt informed of I would have gotten stressed insisting on waiting for them!!!!! But coordinator didnt tell me because it was useless to stress me out when they had no choice but to start already because the church is very strict. It was 3:15 by the time the mass started.

hi active pa po ba ito? anyone here can suggest a small church? yung kayang mapuno ng atleast 100pax. yung mala-caleruega and COTH. anywhere in the ph but pref. luzon area. para lang may options. I am also thinking about sa churches/chapels inside a resort or hotels. TIA!

I only know two as of the moment:

The smaller chapel in Archbishop's Palace but it can only occupy 70pax according to blogs (and no ACU).

Blessed Sacrament Chapel in Manila Cathedral.

If you guys are still looking for a church, I can recommend Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Parish in West Triangle Quezon City.

We'll only have around 80 guests but rest assured it could fit around 150-200 guests (even more if you come to think of it).

Ang gusto kasi namin dito, the place is serene and their package is complete. It already includes the flowers, the candles, the cord, the choir, commentator, the priest, the pre-cana seminar... ayun.

^^hi sis, meron ka ba specific na place na gusto, like Northern Luzon ba, Metro Manila, Southern Luzon? Ako, I got married in Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Kawit, Cavite, nagustuhan ko yung church na yun kasi hindi kalakihan.

^hi sis. wala naman specific place pa pero baka last option ko ang manila. manila kami nagmeet ng h2b ko kaya gusto ko sana dito kaya lang dahil sa traffic baka mas maganda sa province nalang. "binibiro" ako ni h2b na sa baguio daw. kaso mejo ayaw ko, hindi ko lang masabi sakanya. baguio is a very special place to me, alam naman nya yun. kaso i have a lot of memories of my ex there. waaaa. but there is a voice inside me na gusto ko sa baguio para gumawa kami ng bagong memories ni h2b dun. so, wala pa talaga ako idea kung san. kahit sana small church or chapel inside a resort, pag maganda ambiance and nafeel namin ni h2b, bet ko na. hehe. thanks sa suggestion sis!

question lang.. I don't know kasi if getting a florist for the church is worth it pa or maayos naman na yung basic floral arrangement nila na kasama sa package? I have no idea how it looks like kasi.. altho my wedding is Dec 29 naman so probably may ayos naman na din talaga si church since its Christmas...?

Buhayin ko lang tong thread. Any other small chapels here in metro manila aside from archbishop palace and the one in manila cathedral? I just want an intimate wedding.

nakakalungkot lang na ang mahal na pala talaga ng church rates.. ginawa ng negosyo ng simbahan yung sacrament of matrimony haay. Saan ba may mura lang na church or chapel?

May graduates ba ng Sta. Rita de Cascia Parish in Philam Homes dito? How true na couple ang mag-assign ng commentator? Pwede ba 'yun?

Sis  rasee16, you may also check Church of the Risen Lord in UP Diliman. We only paid 9,000 for our wedding back in 2016.
