my baby is now on pedzinc plus c, growee and ferlin. lumakas sya dumede kahit sa gabi. dati 4oz/3x a day, ngaun 5-6oz/4x a day with breakfast pa :)

that's her consumption during daytime. sa gabi kasi direct feeding kami kaya di ko alam ilan oz nacoconsume nya.

Im giving my 6-month old son Ceelin drops and i will try ceelin plus drops kapag naubos na... im also giving him Ener A plus drops as per advised by his pedia, with taurine daw kase compared sa tiki-tiki na iniluluwa ng baby ko... im also giving him Ferlin drops since 3 mos. old siya, advised din ng pedia...

As long as balanced diet daw ibigay ko. Tinatanong ko nga dati what if may lagnat and all that, basta daw less than 3 months huwag daw bibigyan ng gamot (even vitamins) dalhin daw sa hospital. They don't really like to give medicines sa mga bata kasi dito. Eh problema ko medyo malapit ng maging underweight si baby for her age and height. Mapili kasi sa food. Ayaw nya ng rice mas gusto nya ang tofu, fruits and spinach. Kaya I am thinking of buying vitamins. Sabi kasi ni Pedia alam daw nya sa Pinas mahilig daw magbigay ng vitamins. Kaya magpapabili na lang ako diyan. May nag advise sa akin ng Propan + Mosegor daw sigurado daw kaso when I researched pang 2 years old pala ang Mosegor.

i used to give ceelin din to my daughter. but when she turned 2 years old, our pedia changed it to scott's emulsion. i give her the pastilles and she super likes them.

she also takes l'il critters fruits and veggies gummy bears, echinacea drops (as prescribed by her pedia to boost her immune system) and probiotics supplements (baby jarrow or nature's way, also recommended by her pedia, though hindi na ito vitamins).

Hindi gusto ng girls ko ang ibang flavors ng Zoiron. Gusto lang nila yung orange color/flavor.
Ano kaya iba masarap na chewables?

^Please consult your pedia (like what clueless did) before giving echinacea to your child. There have been allergic reactions (although low-risk, but could be severe) associated with the herb.

bea_wang, agree with DV. Please consult your pedia. I dont give meds/supplements/vitamins to my daughter unless cleared by her pedia. Even the fluoride drops recommended by my daughter's dentist, i consulted the pedia.

But to answer your question, we buy echinacea drops direct from our pedia, dr cricket chen. We give her 5drops daily, 2 weeks on then 2 weeks off. Li'l critters has zinc+echinacea gummy bears but consult yoir pedia first to be sure.

My son is 7yo na.  He likes Scotts Vitamin C.  Any comments on this vitamin?  I find it sugary like a candy lang.  Sabi naman ng pedia ok lang daw.

baby hates growee and pedzinc plus c. umiiyak sya pag nikita nya yung boxes kapag papainumin ko na sya nun. tsaka hindi sya antukin, idlip lang lage kaya pedia gives us propan tlc drops. lahat raw kasi ng umiinom nun ( patients nya ) nagiging antukin.

is there a ceelin plus zinc for 7 months old? mas bet kasi ni baby ang taste ng ceelin kaya lang gusto ko yung my zinc for added protection.

tia :)

^Meron yung Ceelin with zinc. But please note that you shouldn't let your child take vitamins with zinc for prolonged periods (not more than 2 consecutive months? If I remember correctly, this was mentioned by Doc Lelet (leletmd) in the first thread?). Anyway, when I give Ceelin with Zinc to my child (during start of school year/rainy months), ipinapaubos ko lang yung 1 bote, then back to regular Ceelin na, then after a few months na ulit.

My 4.5yrs old take Scott's Emulsion Orange and Protexin in the morning. In the afternoon we give him Ceelin (alternating with Zinc).
