my son's cake was made by les sucreries. it's 1-layer, 10 inches. my husband said exag daw sa bigat...

^Thank you! The cake is Php 2.8k. For the price is very sulit!


At first I felt a little off dealing with Veronica (issues re the deliveries, layout etc). But all of those were forgotten after seeing my son's cake! She is truly an artisan! She was able to replicate our pirate image. The details on the cake are just amazing: the textured clouds and waves, the little rock candies, and sugar on top to replicate the coarse sand. Ibang klase! My husband, who picked up the cake, was complaining the cake daw was too heavy. I was planning to put it on top of my cupcake the tower. But upon seeing how big it was, i dont think my cardboard tower would be able to carry it.

And the cake is sooo yummy. When I had my first taste, parang di ko masyadong type cause I found it a bit dry. Even my friend thought the same. But after placing it in the ref, the cake became moist and siksik. And unlike other cakes that get dry over time, this one got yummier. Panira ng diet!

Moms, ok po ba ang price na 2000 for a 3-layer fondant cake na yung middle part lang na 8" diameter ang edible? first time kong magpapagawa ng fondant e and i have know idea kung mahal or mura yung quote sa akin.

thanks hunny_ally & jpeach! sige hindi na ako tatawad pa. besides, mukhang magaling naman sila gumawa ng cake. natikman ko yung ibang products nila and masarapppp talaga. my supplier is bread depot, jpeach. may site sila sa facebook. just search The Bread Depot.

Veron of Les Sucreries is an artist. But it's so hard to deal with her. Super late replies on my layout follow ups even if it was the PP who was contacting her. She sent me my daughter's 3 weeks na yata before the party  . But I forgave her since my daughter's cake turned out really nice and yummy. Plus she's very affordable.

^^or you can have the cupcakes as souvenirs. based on my experience during my son's birthday party (pati na din with my daughter's school party last year), hindi nakakain/nauubos ng kids yung cupcake. during clean up, i saw a lot of half eaten cupcakes on the table. sayang! buti na lang what we had were Shoppersville cupcakes so cheap lang. it was only php 13/piece as opposed to designer cupcakes that retail at php 40-up

so it's better to have it boxed or in a container so they can bring it home. at least if nasa bahay, if hindi nila maubos, they can keep it in the ref then eat it later on. sa party kasi too many food choices or the kids are really distracted to eat. kakagat lang ng onti sa cupcake, then they'll just leave it on the table. just my opinion

thanks for the suggestion.  cupcakes with box na kasi yung souvenir ni baby last party nung baptism nya.  i want something new naman.  and yes P40+ sya, mahal na talaga ng cupcakes ngayon.  sayang nga if makita ko lang hindi maubos ng kids if dun nila eat sa party.  konti lang papagawa kong cupcakes this time, bibigay ko na lang after the party kung sino na lang siguro hihingi.
