^ san yung pc center? I love guinataan!

Napanood ko sa tv yung dolor's last week, pwede daw pala made to order yung assorted kakanin tapos pili lang anong kinds yung ilalagay. Di ko alam if sa Main branch lang pwede or any branch nila.

On Shaw Blvd, turn right at Tropical Hut. PC center is on the left. Mura pa ang groceries doon! The kakanin store greets you as soon as you enter the doors

Pag umaga, ginataang monggo. Pag hapon, ginataang halo halo. P30, I think per take out container. Pwede na, right?  I buy 3 and then I place it in the fridge.

I've only tried their kuchinta. Masarap at mura lang for P100/plate.

^ thanks sis! layo pala. hehe. i like guinataang halo-halo. alam ko sa SM supermarkets din meron, P35 ata per order.. even sa Market2 Sa Tapa King, okay rin guinataan nila, but the best for me is still Via Mare.

^sis, better than via mare ang ginataan sa pc. not as sweet. well, hindi kasing dami ng bilo bilo. but for a quick fix, yeah, via mare is ok. maybe your maids know how? believe me, they'll make it better.  i had a maid who didn't cook well but she made really good ginataan and biko! baka you have a diamond in the kitchen ; )

they also sell ginataan in market market's food court (not the one outside in the non-aircon area).

^ my parents know how to cook but then matrabaho kasi and no time to make one so  we end up buying yah, i saw it inside sa may Metro grocery. I'll try that out soon. May puto calasiao nga rin dun na dati ko pa aim subukan!

can't wait for xmas season.. excited na ko for puto bumbong!!

^masarap ang puto bumbong and bibingka at Mary the Queen. They continuously sell this throughout the year on Sundays : )

^ thanks sis. Layo lang sakin e. I guess Via Mare nalang for my quick fix of puto bumbong di ako mahilig sa bibingka masyado e, but Andok's bibingka was good ah.

may nagbigay sa amin ng sally's homemade kakanin.
inside was a dozen giant kuchinta w/niyog.
masarap! kaya lang sana hinihiwalay nila ang niyog kasi mabilis
mapanis

they have an ongoing deal.. in ensogo it think, for a box of kakanin at a discounted price.

masarap nga yung inutak sa megamall, gustong gusto ni misis.

may natikman ako dala ng officemate ko from marilao bulacan, bibingka (bico to others) na may leche flan type topping sa itaas. ang sarap. rosaliee ata name nung pinagbilihan nya

since mahilig ako sa kakanin, i wanna try the kakanin flavored ice cream sa Sebastian's! they have biko, sapin-sapin, champorado, latik, tibok-tibok, guinataang halo-halo, puto bumbong.. waaah not sure if available pa lahat yan or yung iba mga special flavors before. pero they sound so good!

^ i've tried it, may nagdala sa isang gathering namin. parang siyang sapin sapin na malambot. ok naman for me, i think mas yummy if ala mode i serve. will drop by sa magemall later, sana makabili ako para matikman naman ni hubby.

Kristine's ata yung brand nung inutak na nag-start sa Mercato Centrale then may branch na in Megamall.

ang dali lang pala gumawa ng kutsinta! helper ng sis ko followed the recipe i showed to her, yung nasa Yummy magazine September issue... ang sarap ng result! then since wala kaming freshly-grated coconut, we used packaged toasted coconut to top off the kutsinta - hit na hit with my father and my young nieces will ask the kasambahay na i-try gawin next, yung pichi-pichi (recipe's in the same magazine issue).
