US TV: The Lying Game

I think I'm the only (straight) guy in the office who watches this series (Don't judge me! ).  Guilty pleasure namin ng wife ko ang The Lying Game. It's like The OC crossed with Cruel Intentions.  I thought that my High School Teen Soap days are over - well, until this series came along.

Anyway, what I love about this show is the way it surprises me with each episode.  After watching gazillions of teeny bopper dramas (starting with Dawson's Creek), you start become some sort of a "plot formula guru" (you can already predict what chliche' will happen next).  But with TLG, I'm constantly on my toes after every cliffhanger.  The show's writers know how much reveal and how much to keep under wraps. 

As per usual, I enjoyed the latest episode.  The tension between Alec and Rebecca is becoming more and more palpable.  Ethan is now off the hook.  Sutton on the other hand is putting her hooks on Ethan by sabotaging his relationship with Emma.  Drama drama drama!  Is Sutton really this bad (as in parang demonyo na)?  It seems that there's a bit of good in her when she hugged Ethan's father.  Who is the real villain - Alec or Rebecca?  What will happen to the Ethan, Emma, Sutton and Thayer Love "Square"?   I really hope these questions will be answered bago matapos ang Season 1! hehe

Ohhhhhhh. Kelan kaya nag meet si Rebecca and Sutton? Si Sutton manang mana sa nanay nya haha. Kaya siguro hindi si Emma ang pinili nya i reveal kung sino sha, si Emma kase bawal mag lie, parating guilty.

^for them to break up and mapunta sa nanay niya si Ted? pero mag-ina talaga si Rebecca and Sutton ang sama ng ugali nila parehas. and its sad how shes letting Sutton, hurt Emma like that.

Dan was really perceptive when he said Thayer would get the girl. On one hand I feel sorry for Ethan, but on the other I think it serves him right for messing around with Sutton.

I think Emma deserves Thayer better, Thay seems to be the better guy than Ethan.

Yeah, I think it's part of her plan. Have Alec marry her, frame him up for murder, then have him humiliated in public on his wedding day. Kaya tuwang tuwa si Rebecca and Sutton.

Kahit in real life, meron talagang paboritong anak haha. Or maybe it's not part of Rebecca's plan, sariling gawa lang yun ni Sutton.

now I think about it I think, it make sense kung bakit si Sutton lagi ang nakakahanap ng mga clues, shes working with Rebecca all along

though kahit may paboritong anak it still doesnt make it right. or probably Sutton is just as vicious as her and shes been doing it under her nose. though she knows Emma and Ethan broke up and she probably knows too its also cause of Sutton. Ewan ko sa mag-inang yan parehas sila masama ugali lol

^wala pa atang news about it, but hopefully they will renew this for season 2, tumaas naman yung ratings niya this year eh.

nabitin naman ako, i am not expecting the season to end this fast. Hopefully may season 2 na.
