we gave out wines, not because they are common, but our theme was mafia, to our ninongs. una, manginginom talaga sila, and mas alanganin kung baril ibibigay namin  for the ninangs naman, we gave out bath sets. both were cased in boxes that i designed, which double as jewelry/keepsake boxes. for the VIPs, we gave jewelry boxes with detachable ring trays.

I gave my ninongs and ninang both souvenir and gifts. The souvenir is an Oil Lamp and the gift naman for ninongs handheld rechargeable flashlight and for the ninangs naman pashmina.

Eto rin problema ko ngayon, what to give sa ninongs and ninangs. I thought of engraved pens, sabi naman ni h2b hindi daw magagamit ng ibang ninongs.. I don't want wines din..

We will be giving Pens engraved with their names for the female sponsors (since mas madali siya dalhin sa airport for those who live abroad), and we are still thinking kung anong maganda for the male sponsors. Common na kasi masyado yung wines e. And gusto ko yung magagamit talaga nila.

How about making a donation in their names to a local charity? That's a meaningful and lasting gift to your sponsors. :-)

isa to sis sa mga naging dilemma namin ni hubby... okay sana sya kaya lang most of our VIPs and ninangs eh either diabetic na or need to stay away from sweets.

re body shop, okay lang din... isa to sa mga naging options namin ni hubby non, but when we saw the sets in rustans nung nagsale, we opted for those instead. we didnt really have any issues about packaging them, kasi TPR took care of that na. so there were like two gifts for them, the contents, and when they have used them all up, they can keep the box on their dressers

@imbisibol_ i thought of that.. giving GC sa spa to the ninangs, something to pamper them will have to consult h2b.. kasi hindi pa naman sila sobrang tatanda eh, so i think it's something they'll enjoy..

tapos na kasi ang wedding ko mga sis, but if i were to turn back time, i just saw this super cute measuring tape (5th picture), at ito sana ang ginawa kong souvenir.

...so sticker na lang na may "Love Beyond Measure" ang kulang, and of course details ng bride and groom. madali lang naman magpagawa ng stickers. =)

UPDATE: i called the seller of the measuring tapes, they dont sell daw the tapes na walang nakaprint on top. siguro patungan na lang ng sticker if that's the case.  i'll give this away na din on my son's first bday.

hi mga sis at first i thought of mini cakes for ninongs and ninangs yun na talaga sana ang gusto namin then h2b's mom & dad told me they bought a dozen of wine na so wines na rin kami  , papapackage nila before sila umuwi they're in italy kase tapos diy na lang para sunod sa motif
