gave birth at CGH last june 8 CS ako total bill ko 73k minus na [textspeak!] philhealth dun . OB ko si Dra. Irene Sy PF niya nung nangnak ako ay 30k tapos clinic hours niya everyday except on sunday 2pm-5pm room 601 siya.

infertility expert kasi yung ob ko kaya medyo pricey siya may mga OB sa chinese gen na mas mura ang pf such as dr. zamora and betty co-yap and others pa, may mga kasabay ako nangnak 33k lang inabot eh CS din pero ok naman yung OB ko wala akong marereklamo kasi after so many years of waiting eh nabuntis ako dahil sa alaga niya yun nga lang mahal talaga siya..pero yung check up niya 300 lang :)

Gave birth here too...

If you want excellent service, stay kayo sa MS/MRI building, yung bago, mas okay yung mga nurse dun =)

then from 2002 up to now may 5 to 10 times na ata kami nacoconfine ng anak ko dyan,,,

so far oks naman yun service nila or good for me at wala pa naman akong naeencounter na nurses na lousy...

yun nga lang ang ayoko sa kanila ang bagal ng service pag magbabayad kana...you need to wait atlis minimum of 2 hrs ata ehh...

sana meron mag feed back about dra.zamora & betty co yap.. ;D ;D

my ob before is dra. zamora sis, magaling sya, caring at mabait as in super bait. Pilahan nga lang sa kanya everyday, dahil madami sya patients. that's all I can say. :)

Grabe naman kasi pati bedpan need mong isigaw sa kanila, I guess you get what you pay for, hindi naman kasi kamahalan sa CGH eh, siguro, siguro lang ha, pag high end yun hospital mas okay yun service.

Cons sa CGH: Facility (a bit not maintained particularly sa old building - ang kaso andun and mga babies so mas prefer namin sa old building kesa sa new); Their student nurses (my God!) ang ingay sa recovery room.

Personal Experience: When I gave birth 2006 to my eldest, the nurses handled me well. They were accommodating and gentle. I think it depends on the OB (kasi my OB's very kalog and nice to the nurses so inaalagaan talaga ko) and feeling ko din mabait kasi ako (I slept after they administered the epidural on me). May isang nurse na pinaiwan si OB sa labor room (6cm ako when they administered it) tapos she checked on me from time to time kung ok ako. Basta that time wala naman akong pakialam sa nurses, I just want my OB beside me (and she stayed, thank God).

Actually the good thing about my OB is pinapunta niya ko sa CGH ng 11pm (4cm then) after pinalipat na niya ko agad sa private room namin para dun ako makapagrest (dahil goodluck sa public labor room, nakakatrauma yung sigaw ng ibang patients). Pinasundo niya ko at 230am (and mabait din yung nursing aid na nag-assist sakin) tapos 6cm na nga then direcho transfer sa delivery room stayed there until manganak na. :)

When it was time to push, OB held my hand and then nung nagcrown na head ni baby, she asked one of the lady interns to hold my hand (haha nakakahiya nga eh pero alam niya kasi sobrang takot ko), tapos one of the nurses ay dinaganan na ko ng bongga para bumaba na si baby :) She even instructed one of the nurses to go to our room, get our camera from my hubby (nung nakacrown na head ni baby) take baby's photos nung nakalabas na siya and ang gaganda ng kuha ni nurse. :) Perfect team silang lahat. :)

My OB's name is Dra. Rosallee Eng-Doctor.

My baby's pedia is Dra. Irminia Ang. Nothing but good words for her too. She's a neo-natologist so newborns ang specialty niya. She was so patient with me and baby. And good thing about her is pag medyo kapos ka, puedeng lista muna haha. Seriously. Puede :)

Basta I love them both kaya kahit ang layo layo ng CGH samin, dinadayo ko talaga sila.

So di talaga sila ang mag aasikaso sayo.
