Tips before getting waxed:
1) Never get it waxed when you know your menstruation's coming in a week. Mas sensitive tayo sa pain during times like these.
2) You can choose to drink pain killers an hour before you go to the waxing salon to lessen the pain felt during the waxing process.
3) Don't drink caffeinated drinks before you get waxed.

With regard to the main topic of the thread, I believe proper hygiene nga talaga. For those who use pantiliners, I advise you to change every 4hrs max. Actually OBs don't even advise girls to use them, pero if you must, change it frequently. This goes the same with napkins when you have your period. Wash your vajayjay BEFORE and AFTER sex (whether mag-o-oral kayo o hindi). This lessens the chances of infections (UTI for example), at syempre bumabango ang amoy. And yes, I would have to agree with our other sisses here. Your diet contributes to the overall smell of your vaj and the liquid it secretes.

proper ideal hygiene is changing your underwear three times a day. Yup. Three times a day.
Napkins ideally should be changed every 6 hours.
Avoid frequent douching since it will alter the normal flora of your vagina and make you prone to infection.
Some will have allergies to feminine wash. Soap and water is okay. Betadine wash is strong and should be used only if prescribed or during/after your menses depending on the OB recommendation.

From other magazine sources:
Diet may affect how your bodily secretions smell or taste.
Yogurt, yakult, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, orange juice and apple juice... citrus juices.
Dairy products (cheese, full cream milk): try to avoid this for a week and see how it changes your smell.

This is sooo true, believe your OB! I used liners before, and no matter how many times I change in a day, it just don't smell right for me. It felt awkward at first na undies lang since of course we get wet at times, but believe me, it will be for your best. I change undies 2-3 times a day, and wash but not with feminine wash (except during my period) regular soap lang daw (eh I use Ivory and Dove lang) so its mild lang naman. I myself can smell and literally inahle my used undies without saying kadiri kasi wala talagang bad smell.

As for the taste I dunno....

As for totally stripped down there... for me kasi I've read somewhere, that it has a purpose, to trap bacteria from coming in, parang filter, just like your nose hairs. thus, I just keep them at a minimal not baldy....

Normal lang na merong slight unpleasant smell sa p***y natin, lalo na pag fertile at madaming discharge na lumabas. To stay fresh down there, ugaliing laging mag hugas. I'm using Betadine Feminine Wash once a week, to prevent itchiness, and para protection na din sa mga infections. Then I'm using PH Care everyday. Regular din akong nag shi-shave.

and of course, need niyo ng Quality control (done by hubby/bf) once in a while to check ...

SHAVE YOUR V. That's the only way to make it smell nice... or at least walang bad smell.

Kung nasasaktan kayo sa patubong hair, TUP: SHAVE IT RIGHT AWAY kung patubo na. after a few days,  kahit tumutubo na sya, hindi na masakit. PROMISE. Simply always wash your p***y to avoid unwanted smell and shave/trim/wax to remove unsightly hair (and 'tinga' when being eaten).

Then again, personally I believe some girls have different body chem that makes their pussies smell 'different'. Not necessarily in a bad way ... just different.

Worse experience I had was going down on this college chick (shaved) but had this awful p***y smell! Didn't want to embarrass her so I kind of manned up and continued til she finished. Boy did I come up for air fast right after! haha
