Krav Maga

Anyone tried Krav Maga? It's the Israeli form of self defense. As to what i've heard it will really make you sweat like crazy! Exercise in a form of self-defense.

Have you tried this? Can you share your learning experience and what to expect Is it worth the time?

Tried it yung knife and gun threat nila back then, it was okay naman.Di tulad nung mga boxing and other martial arts parang need mo talaga dun is power pero dito more of i-susurprise mo [textspeak!] tao. Bought some coupons para matry ko talaga [textspeak!] krav maga. Will enroll to it by mid September. Meron din silang free trial for a day ata if you're interested. =)

^ do you still remember some moves? how much does it cost back then? worth it naman?  Nakita ko may coupon sila in Cashcash Pinoy pero tapos na ata.

Yup, medyo nakakapagod din sa arms and at first medyo nakakatakot kasi parang mabilisan and mabibigla mo [textspeak!] "suspect" [textspeak!] inattendan kong workshop is [textspeak!] pang knife and gun lang which is nakuha nung group na nag-avail nun (July 2011) is 1500 ata per person. pero sa mismong place nila (San Juan, Greenhills and somewhere at Makati) I think 4,000 unlimited (good for one month) Mon - Fri (7 ata or 730pm to 9? di ko gaano maalala) and Sat around before lunch and after lunch un. Meron dati sa Cashcash nga. [textspeak!] Krav Maga Ph pa nga nagsabi sa akin na meron silang 2k lang unlimited dun kaya nag-avail agad ako ng 3 coupons. Just wanna try it lang muna pero if okay then itutuloy tuloy ko siguro. Attended their 4hr session last march 18 at FTX fitness Makati, and its really worth it( 1.3k)
 Sir Dindo and his wife Jessica,and assistant Kitin Flores are really very nice and accomodating, never swell-headed and would really teach everything they can for you to learn. They are organizing another session on Bar fights this coming Apr 14 (check out their fb page)

mga sis, nagemail kasi sa kin ng rates yung admin nila, ask ko lang, diba may free session sila, how long will it take, tuturuan ka na ba ng pag-attack sa free session na yun?

i got a voucher from deal grocer for 6 sessions at the San Juan branch...might start this weekend... worry ko lang kasi di ba class yun tapos ako beginner, pano ako mag-catch up sa class?  does anyone know how it works?

everyday iba iba lagi lectures nila so no need to worry about catching up.

I want to try this sana.. I heard it's a form of self defense na pwede din naten magamit in times of dabger di ba? How much naman po kaya and ano2 pong courses ang inooffer niLa? Good for ilang days po yung session nila?

Any updates? gusto ko sana matutong magself-defense. recently kasi, sunod sunod na ko navictim ng robbery (sa house) tska hold-up s jeep. do they offer a training na specifically for women at ganitong mga danger? thanks. sana more reviews.

Pag babae kasi sa krav maga parang walang instructor na babae eh. Parang ang awkward na pag tinuturuan ka nung instructor hahawakan ka niya, and i don't find that comfortable.

I saw a gym here infront of A.Venue Mall, Makati ave.
A Krav Maga gym. I saw un a video that it teaches the student
practical self defense skill rather than traditional martial arts.
