I have irregular period - Monthly but its sometime 34-38days, which is abnormal.
Nung nasa pinas ako, nag pa OB ako para sana ready na ako pag punta ko dito sa country naka assign si hubby, pinag take ako duphaston ever 10th day of the month, for 10days. tapos binigyan din ako ng sabi pampaitlog daw, for 1 cycle lang kasi di nabuo.

I went to see an OB last week and had my TVS, but its normal. there is a follicle that said to release egg.

sabi ni ob since we only got married last October and ttc since april, no need to rush daw.
but to be honest, we want to have a baby. im already 30 this yr and my husband is 35.

I was diagnosed bilateral PCOS last August 2015. I was taking Metformin since then. We are currently having work-up sessions with our OB the last 4 months.

March 2016 - normal right ovary, polycystic right ovary
April 2016 - polycystic ovaries L and R
May 2016 - normal right and left ovary
June 2016 - no diagnosis, it just mentioned stimulated ovaries
July 2016 - no diagnosis, it just mentioned stimulated ovaries

I was diagnosed having PCOS when I was 16. Now I'm 32. I have been battling with acne for years. I am not overweight. Nagpalipat-lipat na ako ng OB. They all have the same methods. They prescribed me to take pills (diane/althea) for months, then have ultrasound after going off the pills. The pills somehow helped improve my skin and regulate ng period, but they shouldn't be taken for long term use. As a nursing student back then, natakot din ako sa nababasa ko about increased risk for blood clots and pulmonary embolism. Nung tinigil ko yun pills, naging irregular uli ako, and ultrasound still showed cysts.

One doctor prescribed me metformin, but I experienced severe side effects, kaya tinigil ko. Ang gastos lalo na student pa lang ako noon, so buong college, I just accepted my condition, didn't take meds.

When I finished college and was earning na, I did more research. I've read about alternative approach to PCOS. I tried progesterone cream. It somehow helped, from 90 day cycle naging around 50-60day cycle ko, pero in the long run, parang di na effective. I also tried acupuncture (in panay avenue). Naging 40-50 day cycle. I was happy with it, pero when I went here in the Middle East, wala na ako mahanap na acupuncturist dito. I need some solutions to pcos lalo na im not getting any younger; and i also plan to have a baby na. I told myself I wouldn't return to taking pills. They work on the symptoms of pcos but not on the root cause. Thanks to google...There are a lot of useful websites. I was thankful I stumbled on Tarryn Poulton's site (pcosdietsupport.com). pcosdiva.com is helpful, too, but I really like Tarryn. I subscribe to her newsletter. She has a more personal approach, and won't bombard you with a lot of info all at once. Baby steps, that's what she said. I learned a lot from her.. example.... https://s3.amazonaws.com/pcosdietsupport/PCOS-infographic-SOS+3.pdf and http://www.pcosdietsupport.com/emm-what-my-dr-didnt-tell-me/. I have changed my diet. I do not eat dairy, soya, and products with gluten. She recommends supplements like vitamin d, omega-3, folic acid and inositol. (but do your research first. consult your doctor before taking any medications).
Now, I'm only taking folic acid and omega3. I still need to consult my doctor about inositol.

PCOS is a lifetime condition. I have accepted I will always be insulin-resistant. I will try to live with this condition through healthy diet, supplements and exercise.

Nadiscover ko na may mga cysts ako on both ovaries last year. Hindi kasi ako nagkamens for almost two months. Kaso the entire month of feb nasa province ako kaya di ako nakapag-tvs. Nagstop din ako mag pills after 6 months.

When I had my TVS, ayun, polycystic nga and slow growing follicles. Hindi pala ako nag-oovulate kaya fail ang 1 year natural TTC namin.

PCOS din ako, didn't know until i went to the OB. I conceived naturally after almost 5 years, and my pregnancy was unplanned pa. Nung nalaman ng OB ko na nag-conceive ako naturally without having any PCOS treatments, she was really happy. Kase bihira daw sa PCOS un nag-c-conceive without medical treatments.

hello mga sis share ko lang, nagpa tvs ako yesterday and the result was my polycystic ako sa left ovary then i consulted an OB and asked her kung wala ba siyang i prescribe saken na meds to treat the polycystic pero sabi niya wala daw, bakit ganun? parang nagmamadali pa yung OB. she just prescribed me for my cervicitis na suppository. I asked her din kung hindi ba ko mahihirapan to conceive kasi my pcos ako sabi niya ulit hindi naman daw. bakit ganun guys? nag research ako mahirap daw mabuntis pag may pcos, you think magpa second opinion ako? help me guys. thanks
