The active principles are:

Blue tablets: 25 micrograms of desogestrel and 40 micrograms ethinylestradiol.
White tablets: 125 micrograms of desogestrel and 30 micrograms ethinylestradiol.

The best pa rin gracial for me. Wala din headaches or mood swings.

Hello, Ms. Barbillie.

I was diagnosed with PCOS too and my husband and i trying to have a baby.... though OB give some vitamins for me trying to conceive.

I am regular ever since my menstrual period start and when we finally decided to make our own little joy, few months i have experience belly cramps, leg cramps and masakit ang balakang at nag iinit. i thought this is the sign of pregnancy. then few days delay and i have menstruation. Well, as i thought it as i am pregnant, false alarm since i had pt test and it was negative. then went to ob dr and telling negative also since to rule out my thinking of being pregnant, i had blood betahcg test.
Then, to know what symptoms i have right i had undergone transvaginal scan and OB send i have PCOS, though nothing worry but then i have to change my lifestyle.

when i found out, my weight is increasing for no reason.

I just want to know what happened to you  since you have PCOS too. Do you have child now?

Hope for your reply soon.

I was diagnosed with bilateral polycystic ovaries last August 2015. My OB prescribed me Metformin 3x a day. Aside from that no other meds na, just lose weight lang daw and healthy diet. My husband an I are TTC since March this year, nung hindi kami makabuo, we went to OB and found out I'm PCOS nga. I have regular periods, but longer compared to others, usually around 30-35 days. I experience cramps and clots during the 1st 2 days of my period. My OB said it was because of the hormonal imbalance. I forgot to mention I have myoma too. Sana despite all these conditions, makabuo kami ni husband.

Last week Monday I went to visit the OB kasi non-stop naman yung period ko. Usually 6 days lang siya pero after day 6 na mahina on Day 7 biglang nakakapuno na ulit ng regular pads. My cycle is 29-34 days pero I have period in between cycles. This month lang yung talagang nagtuloy tuloy. Akala ng mother ni boyfie pregnant ako, pero we never had any sexual intercourse naman pero ayaw nila maniwala kaya nagPT nalang ako. Syempre negative ang result so we went to the OB na.

I had TVS and cbc. My blood count result were normal but my TVS shows that I have thickened endometrium and bilateral polycystic ovaries. Sabi ng OB its just a hormonal imbalance so we will correct it with pills. She prescribed me provera for 5 days and pag nag start na ang period take ko na ang althea (for 3 months). Pinagtake din ako ng hemanex to stop the bleeding pero hindi ko na binili since spotting nalang naman yung blood.

btw, I'm 5'2 110 pounds with no acnes. It's my first time to take pills kaya hindi ko pa alam side effects.

I just found out that i have bilateral pcos din. My hubby and i have been ttc since jan 2015.

TTC na kame ni hubby that's why kahapon nagpa-OB kame. 2013 ako na-diagnose ng PCOS and unfortunately meron pa rin ako (retroverted) despite taking Althea before and Metformin early this year.

Anyway, she asked me to take Provera for a week then kapag nagkaroon, take Letrozole from D-1 of bleeding to D-5. What if during taking Povera e nagkaroon ako, stop ko na ba then take Letrozole instead? Di ko kase natanong sa OB ko I forgot, sayang rin naman kung bibilhin ko yung 1 week amount of Provera na need tapos within the week e mag-bleed na ako.

Thanks sa sasagot.  :)

Hello sis! After our check-up last August, instead na magpa-workup, minaximize namin yung 1 year na natural TTC. So last March, dahil hindi pa din kami prego, we changed our OBRE and nagstart na kami ng work-ups. Apparently, I do not ovulate on my own, so yung 1 year na normal TTC namin, mukhang all to waste talaga kasi di pala ako nangingitlog. Anyways, I was given meds to help me ovulate and some tests to check me and hubby. We do not have a child yet, it's our third cycle with clomiphene citrate this month, and I hope ito na din ang last. Hoping for our bfp soon. :)

Started taking althea this month as prescribed ng OB for my hormonal imbalance. 1 normal size pad per day yung amount ng blood. Last month nagpacheck ako kasi almost 2 weeks bleeding ako pero after takig provera and althea naging tuloy tuloy naman. Ano kayang problema? Hirap maging babae! 😞

Last 2011, my 1st OB said that I have small cyst sa 2 ovaries ko, she did not prescribed me pill kasi
bata pa naman daw ako. Mga 6 cysts nakita niya from my ultrasound and told me na I dont have to worry.
Fast tract to 2015, I experienced my 1st long menstrual cycle.
1. Kasi nasa UAE kami ni hubby (bf pa lang that time) and bawal ang mabuntis outside marriage
2. Kasi I know something is wrong inside my body
Nag try kaming magPT 2x pero pareho namang negative (1week apart). Nagkaron ako after a few days so nakampante na ako.
Last Feb 2016 nagstart maglabasan mga acne ko, I started to stress out kasi I never experienced breaking out TOO MUCH and cystic pa!
I went to the derma and sabi niya I should visit my OB kasi sa klase ng mga pimples ko, hormonal imbalance daw ang cause nun so I followed her. I went to my OB-Gyne last monday
and found out that I have bilateral PCOS, 21 sa left and 17 sa right, sabi niya normal daw na may maliliit na cyst minsan pero it should not be more than 12 so un sakin over over na kaya siguro naglabasan ang mga pimples ng bongga.
She prescribed me to take Metformin 500mg 1x a day after breakfast pero di pa ako nag sisimula kasi hindi ko alam if I should take it on my 1st day of period or I can start anytime.
I'm searching din sa mga pros and cons ng pag take ng Metformin to help in curing PCOS.
I'm glad she did not prescribed any BCP sakin kasi takot ako sa ganon because of its side effects.

Super heavy kaya nun? or light lang?

Hi mga sis.
Just want to share and hingi na din po ng help. I was diagnosed long before 2010 pa yata na may pcos nga I was 3rd yr HS student pa lang. Irregular mens ko nun as in 9 months wala. Then my Obgyne started giving me pills etc. okay naman nagkameron ako then kahit ganun 3 months lang ako iinom after babalik ako then regular na siya ulet.
Then October last year na last kong mens. The hormone test alone is 7k I just started working and if magmedicate man ako ayaw ko ng iasa sa mother ko thanksk

^ Sis px17 baka you can call your OB to ask if it is normal.:)

Nung first time ko kasi sa current OB I was asked to have cbc and tvc pero niresetahan na ko ng meds before makita ang lab results. Nung bumalik ako kinabukasan para ipakita result another PF nanaman.

Hi sis with pcos kasi u just need to eat balance diet , less rice, bantayan ang kain , yun palagi ng mga ob ...less sugar and fat , tpos exercise sleep well ganun ,, need ka lang magbawas ng timbang sis , no dinner adter 6pm

Hi sis. Anyways, I'm planning to take a 1 month break in preparation for my board exam. baka it will also be an opportune time para makapagpapayat, mag-exercise at magdiet. Pero effective ba talaga na magpapayat?
