hello mga sis! last month nag CDO-Bukidnon-Camiguin kami =) Hindi ko akalain na matetest ng ganon ang lakas ng loob ko sa MAPAWA river trekking hehe! according to Ms. Brenda (she arranged our itinerary) pag sinabing talon dapat tumalon dahil napaka-liberating ng experience and true enough sobrang liberating nga hehe! parang huminto ng ilang seconds ang mundo ko nung tumalon ako hindi pa ko marunong lumangoy at bonggang bongga sa kaduwagan haha! Sa mga napuntahan namin yung medyo na-disappoint lang ako is yung sa Del Monte parang wala lang naman kasi ang layo layo pa, hindi ako nasarapan sa food (opinion ko lang naman) and wala din ibang magagawa dun kundi kumain lang hehe!

Basta sa mga nagpa-plan ng itinerary, wag nyo kalimutan include yung Dahilayan, Mapawa Adventure and Water rafting!

eto sana yung magiging highlight ng trip namin kaso talagang di kinaya ng itinerary, buti na lang maganda talaga yung dahilayan pambawi na lang. pero mas prefer ko adventure mode kesa relax-relax.

sis bestfriendnijerome, suggest ko rin camiguin for your itinerary. medyo hapit ka nga lang sa oras kung 3d/2n lang kayo baka yun lang magawa nyo plus konting ikot sa cdo. marami ka rin kasi magagawa dun na di masyadong matagtag para sa injured friend mo.
yung bukidnon kasi parang di nga worth it yung byahe kung di ka naman magzizipline.

^Sis, di rin convenient mag beach eh. Anyways, we've decided na sa city lang mag stay then mag Mapawa-Malasag na lang. May I ask those who are taga CDO: How much ang reasonable taxi rates from airport to Divisoria area? Sa Casa Crystalla kami magpapahatid. Also, how much ang taxi rates from Divi to Mapawa? TIA!

Taxi from Airport to Divisoria - It's usually a flat rate of 300pesos (yung taxi na nakapila at may receipt pa), but there are also some taxis na payag na 250pesos. You can also commute, but 2 rides via jeepney and medyo malayo.

Taxi from Divisoria to Mapawa- Ganun din, siningil din kami ng 300 ng cab. Kung magpapakuha ka pa, +400 so parang 700 siya. Sobrang mahal! Kaya di kami pumayag na i-take pabalik. However, naiwan yung cellphone ng husband ko, so bumalik yung taxi para isoli, so napilitan kaming sa kanya na sumakay pauwi. In the alternative, you can take a cab hanggang dun sa highway before papasok sa small road papuntang Mapawa, then sakay ka ng habal-habal na motor. parang 20pesos per person yata eto. eh kung di lang ako buntis nun, sana nag ganito nalang kami. fun pa. at hindi naman o.a yung habal-habal, tipong 2 people plus driver lang per motorcycle

^Sakin sis ok lang mag habal habal sanay ako dyan kasi sa other places in Mindanao yan ang sinasakyan ko, pero yung friend ko ewan ko lang kung keri nya, haha. Anyway kung ayaw nya mag habal habal sya magbabayad ng taxi namin! hahaha

Sis paano kung di kami magpapasundo sa Mapawa? Hindi ba mahirap kumuha ng taxi sa loob???

Taxis who wait at the arrival area are committing highway robbery. What we do is walk outside the airport and hail a taxi at the highway to bring us downtown. (Be prepared to fight off insistent taxi drivers who want to steer you towards their unmetered taxis.) The taxis in the highway are metered and the fare is around P150-P170.

Parang yung old domestic airport (kung saan yung Zest Air Terminal), from that exit diba lalakad ka towards the nearest kanto sa right if ayaw mo magtaxi na nakapila dun? Parang ganun lang kalayo And don't worry, madaming trees dun so hindi mainit pag naglakad ka. Paglabas mo ng airport, tawid ka tapos dun ka sumakay  Yun yung way papunta sa city

We're able to get a taxi within 5 minutes. I think the other taxi drivers who aren't part of the queue are aware of the flight skeds eh.

Hello guys! Eto so far yung nabuo kong itinerary for our CDO-Camiguin-Bukidnon trip on June 24-27. We are a group of 4.

Day 1

8:35 am             : ETA in CDO
8:35 - 9:30 am   : Travel time and early check in to a budget hotel
9:30 - 12 am      : (Can you guys suggest activities? River trekking? Spelunking?)
12 - 1 pm          : Lunch
1 - 6 pm            : WWR
6 - 9 pm            : Travel time/dinner
9 pm                 : Lights off

Day 2

3:30 am            : Wake up call
3:30 - 4 am       : Travel time to Agora bus terminal
4 - 6 am            : Agora bus terminal to CDO port
6 - 7 am            : CDO port to Camiguin port
7 - 9 am            : Camiguin port to hotel; breakfast
9 am - 6 pm       : Camiguin tour (Walkway to old volcano, Sunken cemetery, Gui-ob church ruins, Sto.nino cold spring, Katibawasan falls, and Ardent hot spring)
6 pm - 9 pm       : Travel time/dinner
9 pm                  : Lights off

Questions:

1. Magkakalapit lang ba ang Sto. Nino cold spring, Katibawasan falls at Ardent hot spring?
2. Sa mga nag-follow ng gantong itinerary, malamang after basa kayo na nagtravel from cold spring to falls then to hot spring no? Edi super basa niyan sa multi cab? Hehe. Tapos after ng Ardent hot spring, saka na lang magpapalit to dry clothes?


Day 3

5 am                  : Wake up call
5 - 5:30 am        : Walk to waiting area for White Island
5:30 - 8 am        : White Island
8:30 - 9 am        : Back to hotel for check out
9 - 9:30 am        : Travel time to Giant Clams Sanctuary
9:30 - 11:30 am : Snorkeling at Giant Clams Sanctuary
11:30 - 12 pm    : Travel time to J&A Fishpen
12 - 1 pm           : Lunch
1 - 2:30 pm        : Buy pasalubong
2:30 - 3 pm        : Travel time to Camiguin port
3:30 - 4:30 pm   : Camiguin port to CDO port
4:30 - 6:30 pm   : CDO port to Agora bus terminal
6:30 - 8:30 pm   : Travel time to dinner venue/dinner
8:30 - 9 pm        : Check in to a budget hotel
9 pm                  : Lights off

Questions:

1. Guys, pwede ko pa ba masingit ang Mantigue island sa day na to?
2. Kung makaka-side trip sa Mantigue Island, may liguan ba dun?
3. May liguan din ba sa Giant Clams Sanctuary?

Day 4

6 am                   : Wake up call
6 - 8 am              : CDO - Bukidnon (breakfast on the go)
8 - 9 am              : Del Monte pineapple farm
9 - 9:30 am         : Travel time to Dahilayan adventure park
9:30 - 2 pm         : Dahilayan adventure park
2 - 4pm               : Bukidnon - CDO airport
4 pm                   : Check in
6:05 - 7:30 pm    : CDO to Manila

Question:

1. Ano ba ang pwedeng gawin sa Del Monte Plantation bukod sa mag-picture? Can we limit our stay there for 30 minutes?
2. How long does the zipline take? From preparation, then yung pag-transport to the launch tower, etc. Can we squeeze in another activity if nasa park na kami by 9:30 and we have to leave by 2pm?

^ If you're having breakfast on the go, I suggest you go straight to Dahilayan to avoid waiting for a long time at the queues. How long it takes to zip depends on how many people are there. One time we waited until nearly 3pm because there was a huge group of 50pax that got in just before us. Last time, we were done by 11. There are also other activities like the big swing, ATVs, Zorbs, horses, etc.

You can just take pix with the pineapples on your way to or from Dahilayan, esp the big pineapple statue at Camp Phillips. You can also stop for lunch before going back downtown at Del Monte Clubhouse. Try their steak or roast beef.

Mga sis, gaano katagal ang travel time from Airport to port ng Seacat/Oceanjet?  Kasi torn pa rin ako if mag RORO or fast craft.. TIA

hi po mga sis, can you recommend good hotels po sa CDO. Kinda nakakalito kasi mga reviews nila sa ibang site, mix of bad and good reviews.  Budget accomodations [textspeak!] po sana pero nice place pa rin. Ska if nakatry na kayo ng hotel na may maayos na room with bathtubs.hehe
