^sis, pagsakay mo sa ferry, may mga nakapaskil na flyers and numbers doon. meron din when you get down the ferry, you just make arrangements. that's what we did. so for about 10 people, pakyaw kami ng multicab for 1200, tapos tinanong kami ng driver where we wanna go, tapos okay na. nag white islang pa nga kami, while the driver was waiting lang, tapos siya nagbantay sa gamit. hehe

the people in the tourism office in camiguin are also quite friendly

what year pa po kayo nakapunta sa camiguin? may tourism doon malapit sa benoni port 1,500 naman po ang naka set na price for tour via multicab. tinanong din namin c kuya teddy ang driver/tour guide namin 1,500 nga din.

Sis, last July lang kami pumunta. May kasama ba kayong bisaya-speaking people? Factor din yun sis, I think talaga if you can speak the local language, mas mababa pa. But anyway, if madami naman kayo, then 1500 is not so bad a price diba?

I just came back from our cdo-camiguin-bukidnon-iligan trip.

Kay Doc Brenda kami nagbook. stress free and hassle free yung daily tours namin.
on time mga sundo namin. moving like clockwork hehe. courteous and flexible drivers.

@bangusnakulot, nakakabusog lunch ng wwr what we had was sugpo, tuna and inihaw nan chicken thighs with rice and banana for dessert and a bottle of coke too.

@itsmaishop sis mukhang ok na yan. kami 5 nights and 6 days 8460 per pax (4 kami) pero excluding airport transfer. sa bahay bakasyunan naman kami sa camiguin. you have mapawa tour kami iligan.

mga sis, safe ba to go sa CDO - camiguin ngayon..  kasi magjoin ako sa group sana ni sis greyzie this wekeend. may nagsasabi sakin na madaming nangyayari kasi sa south ngayon kaya wag na lang daw ako tumuloy.. pero gusto ko talaga kaya lang siempre medyo nagworry ako.

Hi po. I decided to do a SOLO TRIP on my birthday and booked myself for a 4D/3N (Sept22-25) stay in CDO. I am planning to do CDO-BUKIDNON-CAMIGUIN trip. I know masyado pang maaga, gusto ko lang po sana malaman if pwede yung itinerary ko. I'm open to suggestions po lalo na kung mas makakamura ako. TIA!


(Sept22) Day 1 CDO

5:30PM ETA CDO

 - Since gabi na po ako darating, pupunta na lang po ako sa Divisoria Night Market

 - I'm planning to stay either at Budgetel or King Lawrence Inn. Hindi po ako particular sa accom kasi tutulugan lang naman. Alin po ba ang mas malapit dito sa Agora market?

(Sept23) Day 2 BUKIDNON

 - Possible po ba na mapuntahan ko ang Dahilayan Park at Monastery of Transfiguration sa isang araw lang?

- Would like to try Zipline and Zorb sa Dahilayan

 - Mode of Transportation: Habal Habal

 - Saan po kaya masarap kumain?

(Sept 24)Day 3 CAMIGUIN

 - May nabasa po ako sa isang blog (solo trip din yung ginawa niya), he rented habal habal para i-tour ang Camiguin for the price of 800php at ito po yung mga pinuntahan nila:

    - Clam Nursery
    - Old Volcano Trail
    - White Island
    - Katibawasan Falls
    - Sunken Cemetery

    Ok na po ba yung ganitong tour dun sa price nung ride? at saan masarap kumain sa camiguin na madadaanan namin.

 - Nabasa ko po sa Kagay na website yung package nila (WWR+Macahambus Zipline and Skybridge) for 1,150 (beginners wwr) and 1,450 (advanced wwr). Ito po sana yung gusto kong iaavail. Nagsisingit po kaya sila sa group? Kasi dun sa iba yata pwede.

- After po, gusto ko sana mag tour around CDO at ito po yung mga gusto kong mapuntahan:

    - Museo De Oro
    - Museum of Three Cultures
    - Gaston Park
    - McArthur Marker
    - San Augustin Cathedral

Alin po kaya dito yung malapit lang sa isa't isa at pwede kong mapuntahan bago ako lumipad pabalik ng manila? ETD ko nga po pala is 9PM.

Tanong ko din pala if it's possible to tour iligan ng half day? Balak ko kasi isama ito sa iti namin pero sa last day na, baka magahol kami sa oras going to the airport?

^Sis if you have your own ride going to Iligan, then doable siya. although haggard ha, di niyo masyado maenjoy yung mga falls doon.

If commute kayo, then mukhang malabo. kasi sa bus palang, it's going to take you about 1 and a half hours. travel time yun, wala pa yung naghihintay kayo na magbyahe yung bus. so just for the travel, half day na kaagad almost.

Grabe na. ang init dito kanina. tapos pagdating ng 3pm, umulan ng bonggang bongga! lately ganito eh, maulan sa hapon. so better to schedule your activities in the morning!

^Sis katiztic di raw sure yung "walang kwentang" best friend ko kung andyan sya sa CDO sa March 28-30 which are the dates of our trip (me and my girl best friend). If ever wala nga dyan si u***s, do you suggest na mag avail na lang kami ng tour? Kay Ms. Brenda? Or DIY na lang?

^Sis, CDO naman is small so a DIY tour is very easy. Yun lang, if you plan to go to other places like camiguin, dahilayan, iligan etc, and this is your first time here, mas hassle-free siyempre if you avail of packages. But if you are the adventurous type, eh di DIY nalang, para control mo oras mo

Budgetel is closer to Agora since it's in Corrales Extension near Gaisano. You can ask a motorela to take you to Agora; fare is currently P7.

(Sept23) Day 2 BUKIDNON

You'd have to leave CDO early, if possible 6:00-6:30 a.m. so that you'd be able to ride the zips ahead of the crowds. You could then try the zorb, ATV, etc. From CDO city proper, it takes about 1-1/2 to 2 hours. I think there's a shuttle from Coffeeworks in Divisoria for P300/head one way. I'm just not sure what day it's on. Try to call (088) 857-2663 local 403/404 or 0922-880-1319 for the sked. If you're able to finish before lunch, there is a restaurant in Dahilayan, but other places that you could eat are the Del Monte Clubhouse or Pinuto's sa Kanto (if you're on a budget) along the highway in San Miguel. From Camp Phillips there is a multicab that goes to San Miguel. The roast beef in either are good. That leaves the afternoon for the Monastery in Malaybalay. I haven't tried commuting from Dahilayan, just from Phillips to San Miguel, nor have I tried habal habal and commuting to the Monastery so maybe someone else can make suggestions.

I think P800 is ok. When we were there, we rented a motorela for P1500. Try eating in Vjandep. There's also a separate Camiguin thread here in GT.

I suggest you call Kagay ahead if they could insert you in the group. The areas close together are MacArthur Marker (near the pier) and Museum of Three Cultures in Capitol University (this is also near Budgetel). Then Museo de Oro (Xavier University), Gaston Park and San Agustin Cathedral are within walking distance from each other. I suggest that between Xavier and Gaston Park, you view the monuments in Divisoria like the Cry of Freedom Monument (sometimes called Bonifacio Monument) and the Rizal Monument. In the Cathedral, check out the stained glass windows. Sometimes they're overlooked.
