Our CDO-Bukidnon-Camiguin TRip went well last Dec 28, 29 & 30, 2011
Originally Dec 27-29 eto, but our Cebupac flight to CDO was cancelled last Dec 27, because of the weather, kaya nag move kami ng one day(fully booked na kasi all CDO flights for the day) ...buti na lang MS. Brenda was so very accommodating at maasikaso - she was able to move everything for another day.
Dec 23, I already called one by one yung mga contacts sa CDO to check if ok and go pa rin ang mga trips and adventure, I called Ms. Brenda, yung dahilayan for the zip line, red rafts for the white water rafting, yung bahay bakasyunan in camiguin, victoria suites at CDO. - so since BUSINESS AS USUAL lahat, we opted to push thru with the trip (kasi mga bakasyonista from the USA ang mga kasama ko, so there was no option to defer it).
Naiba ang original sked namin, kasi different time ang flight na nakuha namin.
Dec 28 - 7am paglapag ng CDO Airport - red rafts crew are already there , they picked us up, derecho white water rafting na
10 pax kami kaya 2 rafts kami (5 pax each raft with 3 guides na kasama per raft) - i dont know if standard na 3 guides ang kasama per raft - or baka now lang because of the recent typhoon (sa Davao kasi nung nag WWR kami 7pax kami sa isang raft then 1 guide lang kasama namin)
the red rafts guide showed us during the rafting, kung hanggan saan umabot ang baha, yung mga areas na nag landslide, mga puno na natumba, bridge na naputol, and they were saying na maraming mga rapids na nag-iba like may mga nawala at may mga bagong nadagdag because of the bagyo
the WWR was still indeed a great experience, at the end of the course, dapat may shower area, at kainan area duon, but nasira ng bagyo, so mga makeshift cr and dressing cubicle pa lang muna, and they set up a place where we took our lunch.
besides sa 2 rafts kami, I only saw another 2 rafts na nag WWR that morning.
after taking our lunch, the red rafts team dropped us at Victoria Suites....nadaanan namin yung river na umapaw... God bless the families na naapektuhan nang bagyo.
We were suppossed to go to bukidnon that afternoon para mag zipline, but Ms. Brenda cancelled it, kasi maulan sa bukidnon that afternoon, baka daw di rin kami makapag zipline . so we took the afternoon to rest muna, then at nite we went out , lakad lakad sa area, we took our dinner at Kagay-anon Resto at Limketkai Center ( medyo na weirduhan ako sa taste - kasi ang tamis ng caldereta at ng sisig)
Dec 29 - 5am, we took our free breakfast meal set at victoria suites, then by 530am sinundo na kami ng van provided by Ms. Brenda...derecho bukidnon na kami for the pineapple plantation then by 8am we are ready for the zip line na..after the 3 ziplines, nag zorbit din kami, by 1030am (while we are taking our light snacks) we are on the van on the go na rin to the port to take our boat ride to camiguin. By 130pm we are at camiguin na , nag lunch muna kami sa J&A Fishpen, then we drove again for the tour of camiguin...katibawasan falls...ardent hot springs...then check in at Bahay Bakasyunan sa Camiguin, dun na kami nag dinner and spent the nite swimming at their pool.
Dec 30 - 530am we were on our way to White Island...Ang clear ng water...then went back to Bahay Bakasyunan for our buffet breakfast, then spent more time, swimming sa pool. The upon check-out dumaan muna kami sa Vjandep for the pasalubong then to the port na going back to CDO
at CDO, since maaga pa kami for our flight, nag Limketkai Mall muna kami, stroll, shop around and eat before heading to the airport.
So that's our experience.
