Clomid Users (Thread 3)

Hi sis Lei_Glee and mga sis, just want to share and someone i can ask some help.

I started to take clomid last july 2011 is my first cycle

1st Cycle july 2011-
we are not able to finished the BD needed on schedule due to personal reason. 

2nd Cycle August 2011 -
we are not able to finished again the BD because my hubby got sick and need to confined that time in the hospital

3rd cycle  September 2011- I got 28days cycle
September 7 - day 1-- I got my period

September 16 -26 is my day 10-20th by OB ask us to BD every other day on these days.
in between this days i think  september 20 or 21 sumakit puson ko nag sobra na parang tinutusok and my breast are sore and swollen until now.

September 23 - Day 17 -- TVS/FM leading follicle 1.40cm in size and lining is 1.10cm, We went to my OB at this day for check up because she said if or if i didnt  got preggy i will be back after 3 months. Then when my Ob saw my TVS/FM she said my PCOS already improved few eggs left nlang na immature on the right and left but i got my leading follicle on the RO ko pero maliit pa din daw. sabi niya mag repeat TVs/Fm ako on monday or tuesday, then sabi niya continue baby dance on 20th and extend for another week every other day kase bka daw mabagal lang ang paglaki ng follicle ko, then

september 26 Day20- today monday nag pa TVS/FM ako, i was soo happy kase lumaki siya on the RO  1.80cm and lining is 1.50cm so nag text ako sa OB ko she replied "ok. hinog na. BD today and continue for a week every other day."

ask ko lang sis is this a good result? ganda lining ko and follicle size is good now. but i read some articles here na nag oovulate daw usually of day 12-16? bakit ako naun plang lumalaki ang follicle ko? help mag sis! bumili ulit ako ng ovulation kit i tried it last september 24- i think negative kase one darker and one lighter, same result this morning before i went to my ultrasound.

help mga sis!! is this a good chance now for us ng hubby ko?? thank you mga sis!!

Galing ako ng ob, nag ovulate nako at nagburst na eggs ko, sabi ni doc sagad-sagad kami these 3 days, kagabi nasayang lang spermy nya. At war kami ngayon, naiinis ako bahala sya!

Buhayin natin ang thread na ito. I am on my last day of taking clomid, will be back on Thurs (CD10) so that dra. dy will do a TVU and advise kung kelangan ko tumaob after the baby dance. My cervix was pretty high up daw.

I'm also a chlomid user, im on my 2nd cycle.  Possible ba talagang madelay ka pa kahit nakachlomid, nun first cycle ko kasi failed, tapos dumating ng ika30th day ang period ko, ngayong 2nd cycle eh 7 days na akong delayed then super sakit ng breasts ko, pero negative parin ang PT

Girls I have a dilemma. Gusto na kasi talaga namin magkababy and so nung nagbakasyon kami ni bf this december sa pinas, a friend of mine who works with a doctor gave us prescription for clomid and then nakabili kami but we only bought for 2 months kasi takot si bf magkaron ng side effects for me so try lang daw. And then the dilemma is this, this is my 2nd month of taking it and he called for a schedule for a gyne who specializes in fertility and then we have a schedule on March 20. My question is, shall I tell the doctor that I took clomid? Or shall I just keep mum about it? Hindi kaya magagalit yun because I took it without having to consult a doctor first? And the thing that's worrying me is baka he/she will ask for the name and license no.of the dr. who prescribed it and then report it and that's what I don't want to happen kasi I'm the one who asked for a favor. I hope I'm just being paranoid and I hope somebody can help me regarding this. Thanks.

Hi sis , i think you should tell your doctor that you're taking or have taken clomid.. am sure you've read some side effects of clomid here already....  by knowing this she will know if clomid is effective for you or not, then this might also help her in giving you a work up plan.

i don't think she'll ask for the details of the person who prescribed it to you [textspeak!]...

Mga sis, to those who take Clomid, what do you do pag numinipis lining nyo? Yan kasi ang problem ko with Clomid eh. Baka may tips kayo na ma-sshare para kumapal yung lining ko agad.

hello po, bago lang po ako dito naka first cycle din ako ng pagtake ng clomid. ill be having may ultrasound bukas. ask ko lang po if do u feel slight headache and pati na ears ko sumakit while taking clomid after 2nd day off pill ako nawala din.. thank u.

joining sisters.. aantay ko lang AF to come and start na kami ng work up... in preparation pinagtetake kami nig hubby ng Folic Acid.. ova mit ang iinumin ko for 5 days and start sa cd3... sana eto na yun may nagtake na ba sa inyo ng ova mit?

pa-join po mga sisters ... may mga naka-experience na ba na sobrang painful period at backache at malalang PMS because of clomid? Napansin ko kasi itong cycle ko na ito lahat yan naranasan ko for 2 weeks prior to AF, at ngayong AF ko na sobrang uncomfortable pa rin ng feeling. Di ata maganda effect sa kin ng clomid - not sure kung dahil sa clomid nga ba ito

dapat ba mag start ng baby dance day 14???

iba pa po ba yung fertile days mo at ovulating days ano po pag kakaiba nila..sorry wala po talagang masyadong idea... thank you

^ Sis, pwede ka na mag-start ng BD mo as early as day 7 kung wala kang follicle monitoring and HCG shot. Pero kung meron, usually ang advice ni OB is day 12/13 ang follicle monitoring, then bibigyan ka ng BD schedule after ng HCG shot mo. It could be everyday starting from the day you got your HCG shot until day 17. Pero kung hindi mataas ang count ng husband mo, your OB could suggest na every other day ang BD.

Same lang ang fertile days sa ovulating days. Yun yung days na may egg-white cervical mucus ka.

Hi sis! Yung ob ko prescribed premarin 3x/day para hindi maging manipis ang lining dahil sa clomid. I take it after clomid til cd27. everytime sa tvs nakikita na ok at maganda yung lining ko dahil dun Saka added advantage nya gumaganda skin ko & hindi masyadong nagffalling hair...

^ Hi sis, usually mga PCOS ang nag-tatake ng Clomid. I don't have PCOS and I ovulate on my own pero I was still prescribed Clomid to stimulate my ovaries. Parang yun ang SOP ng mga OBs. Negative effect so far na na-experience ko is the thinning of the lining. Other than that, ok yung effect nya sa akin. I'd have more than one mature follicle in a cycle. Good luck!

First post ever after stalking this site for a couple of weeks!

I'm on my 4th round of clomid, only 2nd round of clomid with follicle monitoring though. My 1st OB kasi said no need to monitor and just blindly told me what days to do BD. Kaya I changed OB.

Positive effects of clomid for me are I get more than 1 dominant follicle. (this cycle I got 4, but 1 shrank and the other persisted ata and became a cyst.)
Negative effects are thinning of endometrium (matris), hot flashes, and slightly flickering vision for a few seconds per episode. My OB told me to take premarin for the endometrium, then 5 days after ovulation, duphaston naman. Lots of meds! Heheh!

Clomid's worth it I think because you kind of up your chances when you have more than 1 dominant follicle.

^Galing ng clomid kung hiyang ka sa kanya. Bongga lang ng hot flashes, and yun nga usually you have to take premarin after clomid para kakapal ang endometrium mo.
If your PCOS isnt behaving talaga, and you arent responding to clomid, baka time to go to injectibles! Pero sana you respond well to clomid!
