so kelangan ko pa ulit kumuha ng panibagong NSO birth cert kung magpaparenew lang ako ng passport? haay!

^Kung meron ka na NSO Birth Certificate (original; not photocopied) sis, di mo na kelangan kumuha ulit.

^kumuha na kasi ako noon sa NSO sis. kaso hindi naka SECPA yun binigay sa kin. may naka attach na letter na wala silang security paper that time kaya yun Certified True Copy lang yun binigay sa kin plus yun letter. pwede na kaya yun? $:-\$

I have appointment tommorow sa DFA at 11:00AM. Mabilis lang ba processing or it would take more than an hour?

^^Kelangan nasa SECPA but try calling DFA Hotline at i-explain mo yung sayo sis. Baka pwede na yan since may naka-attached na letter naman.

^Wala kasing fix time kung anong oras matatapos pero most of the people here, inaabot ng more than an hour. Sa akin 1 1/2 hour (mabilis na yan sa lagay na yan), ganun din sa brother ko. My friend naman inabot ng 3 hours. So iba iba talaga pero wala pa ko kilala na natapos ng less than an hour.

Galing ka ng province at dito ka sa manila nag ayos ng passport. Baligtad ata kasi mas maraming nag aayos dito. Nung inayos ko akin doon ako sa Batangas mas mabilis.

^Rush kasi dito sa Batangas will take 15 days. I need it to be renewed asap. Baka kakayanin in 7 days.

^^ it depends pa rin. if you opted for rush processing 7 working days lang. if regular, 15 days.

^^You can wait until mag-expire ang passport mo if you opt to change your surname to that of your husband and there is no restriction naman AFAIK na gamitin mo pa rin maiden name mo even if married ka na. Yung civil status (single, married or widow) sis hindi indicated sa passport.

Sa province kase it P950 25 working days
P1,200-15 working days though less hassle dito...
