sisses, i found this DFA Passport Tracking System: http://www.dfa.gov.ph/main/index.php/consular-services/passport/passport-tracking-system nung nagreresearch research ako nung nadelay yung passport ko. kaya lang you have to register 3 days before your release date kaya hindi ko na rin siya nagamit so hindi ko rin alam kung reliable to, pero siguro its worth a try. para if ever may delays, hindi kayo clueless. mine got delayed ng mga 16 days and seriously nakakairita siya lalo na if you pay additional for rush processing and yung hindi ka man lang inaadvise about the delay.

March 2013 ang expiry ng passport ko. Pwede na ba akong mag-renew ng passport?
Kasi I'll be having US trip on August, 1 month vacation. Kailangan kasi di ba 6 months valid ang passport.

What if I wont change my name naman? I'll keep my last name. Its not indicated in the passport naman if single or married.

Ay sorry, clear ko lang haha Yes, you can use your maiden name sa passport. There is no legal requirement (AFAIK) requiring a married woman to use her husband's last name.

^same question. Kasi nung nag apply kami ng Schengen visa, maiden name ang passport ko pero yung sa joint account, married name. Wala naman question. So pwede kaya sa renewal ko, maiden name parin?

^Yes, I think so. Yung ibang countries kasi hindi naman sila strict sa mga last names (like sa ibang bansa, a husband can use his wife's last name, sa atin hindi pwede).

^^^^just make sure you bring a copy of your marriage cert when travelling abroad and when you have kids in the future and you travel with them bring the birth cert of the kids.  in case lang naman

pwedeng ipa-ammend lang yung passport if its still good after getting married. yun kase inoffer saken. (just got married recently, good pa yung passport ko till 2015) pero i decided to have it changed nalang to my married name for consistency. choice mo rin kung gusto mo gamitin yung last name ng asawa mo or not sa passport. pero kapag magttravel, kelangan yung name mo sa ticket same sa passport.

Meron  ba satellite office for renewal in Manila? June 2013 pa expiration but i have a scheduled trip sa feb next year...plan ko sana to have it renewed as early as now para no hassle

Pag nagparenew ba ng pp, bubutasan agad yung old pp? Kasi dati pwedeng upon collection ng pp ipabutas eh. Saka yung orig nso birth certificate ba kukunin?

^yes, kukunin yung NSO SECPA na Birth Cert. and bubutasan upon application for renewal. so may mga ilang weeks kang walang passport

Thanks for the reply sis sarsingkit. Ang mahal din naman kasi ng nso birth cert tapos orig pa kukunin nila. Eh yung mismong pp, mahal na eh. Delay pa din ba ang releasing nila?

Hayyy, nagsisi ako ngayon at nagparesked pa ako ng appt. Gipit tuloy ako, sayang ang opportunity ko!

^i am not sure about the delays. january pa kasi ako nagparenew and on time naman dumating. ay wait if renewal pala hindi ata kukunin yung Birth Cert, photocopy lang. pero nagdala ako ng NSO Birth Cert, binalik din. yung NSO na Marriage Cert yung kinuha (change status kasi ako)

Sa akin walang kinuha, renewal ako pero dala ko mga requirements just in case.
