Finally got my passport, exactly on the day they said it would be delivered. Really good job! Kudos!

mabilis na rin ngayon. actually when we went there (family appointment), 45 mins before our scheduled appointment, we were allowed to get in and start the process. Moving naman yung line. so hindi talaga sya boring. bt the line was really long, but good thing, almost all counters were opened. i brought only my Birth CErtificate (SECPA) and TOR. The one behind the counter was accommodating.palakwento.But nag iinterview talaga sila. When i gave all my docus, she asked for my alumni ID. Unfortunately none, but i photocopied my old NBI clearance and expired PRC license. Ayun, she asked for the original copies. Sabi ko nga, i thought hindi na pwede yung expired na NBI clearance and/or license. She got my orig birth and photocopied nbi and license. yung bro and niece ko nagkaproblem. hindi kasi nila dala school id nung niece ko. and yung bro ko since he doesn't have digitized ID kasi he owns his business. ayun muntik ng hindi maprocess papers nila. good thing he has his alumni ID and yung niece ko may health card.
wait na lang kami sa passports. pina deliver namin

i had my passport renewed and new application for my little boy kanina.  super bilis na pala ang processing ngayon kesa lumang method nila.  Madaming tao pero pero mabilis ang processing kasi almost all windows open.  Our scheduled was 7:30 then by 9:00am tapos na.  Date of release march 23, well i'm crossing my fingers.

^ sis ilang taon na little boy mo at ano hinanap na requirements?

my boy is 4yo at SECPA birth cert at baptismal palang meron siya. ngayon palang siya papasok ng school kaya wala pa siyang school ID. yung baptismal pa nya walang dry seal (yun kasi naka-state sa list of requirements) at mukhang hindi naman na nagda-dry seal yung church where he was baptized.

altho meron din siyang health card. ako naman walang alumni ID. pero meron akong old passport, SECPA birth cert, SSS at driver's license. tama na kaya yun?

sis raspberry, 3 years old sya sis.  secpa birth certificate lang ang ni-require nila sis although dinala ko din naman ang baptismal certificate (wala din dry seal) & dependent's id nya just in case hanapan ako ng iband document pero di na nga nila tiningnan eh.  yung original copy ng secpa birth certificate yun lang ang kinuha nila.   

oo sis pasadong-pasado na yang mga id  and docs mo.  renewal yung sayo sis diba?  mas madali nga yun.  mas strict sila sa mga new applicants.  month ago yung brother ko nag-apply ng passport yung dala nya birth certificate, driver's license & company id, tinanggap naman.  yung ibang kasabayan ko nga kanina yung dala nilang id ay postal, bir id (not digitized) ok naman kasi nagkita pa kami dun sa photo capturing area, siguro madami din silang dala na supporting documents kaya tinanggap.  at depende din siguro yun sa taong nagve-verify ng mga requirements.

kung magpa-appointment ka sis tawag ka nalang sa hotline nila mas madali makakuha ng schedule kesa magpa-appointment through their website.  kasi sabi ng brother ko ang tagal daw nya na-receive ang reference number & print code nya sa email.

^ ay talaga? naku buti naman! ayoko kasi ng maraming hassles sa mga ganyan. yung tipong papabalikin ka pa, eh sa bundok ng novaliches pa kaya kami manggagaling.

buti sinabi mo na tumawag na lang. dami ko nga nabasa dito na hindi daw maka-complete ng appointment sa website kasi ayaw tumuloy. eh last time nagtry na ako mag-fill-up hindi ko lang tinuloy kasi hindi ko alam maiden middle name ng lola ko (for my mom's application).

eh dami kaya namin... 5 so far. so kung ita-type ko lahat ng info tapos hindi mako-complete eh major asar siguro ako.

mga sis, ask ko lang pag sa new applicants magaaply ng passport tapos rush, gano kaya katagal yung pag apply? 7 days pa rin ba kahit new applicant ako?

einjhel, 7 working days sis.  yung pa-apply sis madali lang, basta kompleto lang ang dala mong requirements 1-2 hours tapos na ang processing then after 7 working days makukuha mo na dun sa dfa pero kung ipapa-deliver mo sa inyo siguro plus 1-2 days pa.

^Correction lang, sa 7th day (do not count weekends) dadating yung passport pag delivery. Wala ng after 1-2 days.

thanks sis december sa reply. ask ko lang po, papa no po ba magpapaappointment kung tatlo sana kami, young husband ko at baby ko sana, gusto ko sana pag kumuha kami ng appointment sabay sabay na ng oras at araw, pwede po ba irequest na sabay sabay kami pag nagpaappointment?

^Yes, pwede sabay sabay kayo. I suggest call mo yung hotline nila for appointment. Mas ok yun kesa online. Matutulungan ka pa nung CSR nila.

hello mga sis!!!

my passport will expire in 2015 but i'm planning to renew it this month para mag-reflect na sa passport surname ng husband ko...ang question ko mga sis, dapat ba yung new surname na ang nilagay ko sa application form? ang tinype ko kasi yung maiden name ko since yun ang nasa current passport ko...sana po may makasagot sa question ko...thanks:)

mga sis question. yun 6mos validity e down to days naman ang count di ba? maeexpire kasi passport ko sa Dec20. e may bkk trip ako ng jun1-6. pwede ko pa naman sya gamitin di ba?

Hello gullible, the DFA officer at the counter will ask you naman what surname you'll be using, siya mismo ang magsusulat sa form mo. In my case, I insisted on using my maiden name (papalitan kasi sana niya) kaso nakabili na ako ng plane tickets that time using my maiden name. Just tell the officer that you made a mistake on the online form and that you'll be using your married name.

^hi sis! have the same concern. nung tumawag ako sa dfa for inquiry, ang sabi saken ang ilalagay daw sa form is yung nasa passport na irerenew. have to update din kase my name on the passport since i just got married.
