not yet, sis. i need to fix my IDs pa. will probably start processing everything next month. busy pa kasi eh.

How long does it take to have a passport renewed? pg rush po..thanks

^Parang almost a month din, especially if nasa province ka. Kasi ipapadala nila yung appplication sa Manila, and you have to wait for it to come back to the province. When I had mine renewed, sabi ko pa, sa Manila ko na kunin yung renewed passport ko, because I am going there anyway to apply for visa, but ayaw pumayag ng DFA kasi intayin ko daw talaga dito haynaku.

Pero may kilala ako, super bilis, like a couple of days lang. They wrote to someone from the DFA because it was a really urgent trip (not for tours and the like) and then that person helped her all through out.

thanks sis.. sept pa naman yung expiration ng passport ko but im scheduled for an interview on march 29 sa US embasse. if ill have it renewed this month do they have to get my old passport? kaka stress..

Share ko lang passport renewal experience ko. Our neighbor kasi knew someone sa DFA, my brother insisted na dun nalang ako pero ayaw ko talaga kasi gusto ko ma-experience pumila at mag-apply mag-isa haha So I called the DFA Hotline para magpa-set ng appointment. I chose Jan. 30, 1:30pm. 1pm pinapapunta na ko. I arrived at exactly 1pm. Pumila na ko sa Verification and Encoding. Gulat lang ako ha kasi parang di nila chine-check yung iba kasi yung katabi ko na nakipag-kwentuhan sa akin eh 3:30 pa yung appointment niya pero nakapila na siya ng 1pm! So sa Encoding, I only have 1 ID (Alumni ID) so I brought with me my 2 TORs (College and Law) plus my NSO Birth Certificate pero ang chineck lang talaga eh yung Alumni ID ko tapos ok na. I paid (rush ang kinuha ko, pero weird kasi hindi naman 7 days talaga haha) then got my number. Nasa 2400 na sila tapos number ko 2696. Gulat talaga ako. Buti may dala akong book so basa basa pero nung 2:15 na eh number ko na tinawag. So kuha ng picture, sign then punta ako sa 2GO then bayad dun then natapos ako ng 2:30 (so that's 1 and a half hour lang pero sabi ng iba kong friends 3 hours daw sila so ang saya ko at ang bilis lang). Tomorrow ko na makukuha yung passport ko via 2GO.

mga sis tanong ko lang. ano anong mga id ang tinatanggap ng DFA? meron ako poastal id, NBI clearance, birth certificate, yung sa driver's license ko is student pa,. yung yearbook ba tinatanggap nila pati yung license ko sa tesda yung NCII certificate. thanks

mga sis question po. kinukuha ba nila yung original documents or photocopy lang? parang narinig ko kasi kukunin daw yung original na NSO birth cert pati NBI. salamat sa sasagot!

^Walang kinuha sa akin. Di din chineck NSO ko pero just in case kumuha ako ng extra sa NSO then pinaphotocopy ko din.

I got my passport yesterday. Di lo type yung picture. Parang ang dungis kong tingnan kasi may blue dots na ewan.

^Ako din. mukha akong kriminal sa passport photo ko. badtrip pa, bawal ngumiti pero gusto nung kumuha ng picture ko na ngumiti ako na hindi nakalabas ang ngipin. kaya mukha akong ewan dun sa picture ko hahahahaha

the first time i applied for passport, kinuha yung NSO copy ng birth cert ko and when i changed status, kinuha din yung NSO copy ng Marriage.

goal ata nila na magmukhang drug mule yung mga tao sa passport eh. hehe. si hubby naman mukhang terorista sa passport picture. haha

^^haha naiimagine ko picture mo. Ako naman di ko sure kung pwede mag-smile so ang itsura ko eh parang haggardness lang kasi tentative yung smile sa lips tapos di naka-smile eyes ko.

^1 week. I applied last Jan. 30 then nung Feb. 8 ni-released but I opted na ipa-deliver sa 2GO so I got it the next day
