^That's where the DFA, at the time of issuance, stamps the places where Filipinos are restricted to go. Like before ata, nagkaroon ng travel ban, "Not valid for travel to Iraq." or something like that....forgot exactly which country...basta that's what that area is for.

mga sis, question lang. paano kung ang papakita mo lang na documents are i.d's postal i.d and bir/tin id (hindi digitized) tapos may dalang nso birth certificate and baptismal, sss e-1 form (wala pa kasing sss i.d. which is super tagal magrelease saka voter's i.d na isa din na napakatagal irelease) you think, ma-approve ng dfa iyung application? sana naman, kasi si bf nakaschedule this saturday sa dfa. help! tia!

pwede naman sis, friend ko dala nya NBI clearance, NSO certififed birth certificate, and SSS E-1 and ok naman, now may passport na cia.

sis, hindi tinanggap sa verifier counter iyung mga credentials ni boyfie. dami pa niyang hinihingi daw. sss i.d, voter's i.d, school i.d, transcript of records. eh to think may nbi clearance na siya, orig birth cert, nso birth cert, tin i.d, postal i.d, baptismal cert (with dry seal). hindi ata consistent dfa sis...next time na lang kami balik, kuha na lang daw siya driver's license.

ang yung sister ko kasabay ko sya kumuha ng passport nung march,both renewaL... married yung in'appLy nya na passport, baLe yung expired passport nya is singLe tapos nung nag'renew sya married na yung niLagay nya... now the probLem is kaiLangan paLa singLe sya dun sa work na ina'appLayan nya... panu kaya gagawin nya sis?.. pa'renew na Lang sya uLit tapos pabaLik nya sa singLe yung status and surname nya sa passport?.. hindi kaya hassLe gawin yun?.. and kung sakaLi ano kaya need nyang i'present na documents?.. tia mga sis...

^i don't think that's possible sis kasi falsification na tawag dun. computerized na kasi lahat kaya di na pwede hokus pokus.

sis soLaris, tama kuha na lang muna siya ng driver's license yun naman ang pinakamadali. in my case nga the same day as my appointment sa DFA pina-correct ko yung license ko sa LTO (wrong spelling kasi) -- ayun, wala namang hassle. pumunta ako sa LTO ng 8am natapos ako ng 12nn. 1pm ang appointment ko sa DFA.

my passport is expiring on 2016 pa. kaya lang i'm getting married this december, so i think i wanna change my name in my passport. papano gagawin and how long does it take and how much? ano po requirements? TIA!

There's a section there regarding using your spouse's surname.

If you would like to use the surname of your spouse:

    Marriage Contract (MC) in Security Paper issued by NSO and Certified True Copy issued by the Local Civil Registrar if MC secpa is unreadable.
    Certificate of Attendance (color green) from CFO (Commission of Filipino Overseas) if married to a foreigner.

sis when I applied for my passport i have with me: Postal ID, TIN ID, NSO Birth Cert, TOR.. pero kulang daw as per the DFA officer, kasi hindi digitalized yung mga ids na presented ko.. kinuha yung TOR and NSO birth cert, then buti she asked if my company id ako and where I am working, VOILA! tinaggap nya;D although I am not sure if this is applicable to all companies, known naman kasi company ko
