yung nakapagmonster meal, madali ba lumamig ang food? kesa dun sa set meal? kasi pag may late dumating, malamig na pagkain nya at buo na mga sauce ng spag/carbonara? Pero maganda nga tingnan kasi naka buffet style.

Unlike sa set meal na walang nakadisplay pero guaranteed na mainit pa na maseserve?

Finally nairaos din yung 1st birthday party ni Zoe today

We got to Shakeys El Pueblo at 130PM but the party before us just wrapped up and we had to wait while they cleaned up but my balloon supplier was able to set up naman kagad. The staff were really great, Anna was the one who assisted us the entire time and she was very cordial talaga. May mga konting hassles lang but they were really petty kaya deadma na. Yung Moviescape videographer, mejo late dumating pero ok na din kase hinde naman talaga super late chaka ma-traffic nga naman talaga. Natakot lang ako nung una kase si Anna hinde aware na may video service kame na binook through them. Mejo nagka-prob lang ng konti with the amenities kase half-justice league and half-barney yung loot bags pero it wasnt a hassle naman kase ganon talaga sana yung gusto ko originally. Hinde din sila nakapag-provide ng balloons on stick as part of the amenities pero deadma na din kase maganda naman yung set up ng balloon decorations ko.

Hinde na namin naipa-buffet set up yung MMD kase sobrang daming guests and hinde na nagkasya kaya per table na lang ang ginawa namin. Overall, it was really great. Hinde ako na-stress and Zoe enjoyed it kahit mejo cranky sya kase sleepy sya. When she saw the kids, ok na sya and she cooperated naman. I cant wait to see the pics by Jay Raon. He was really great kahit natakot sa kanya si Zoe. That's the part of this party that I'm really looking forward to. This is the link to the teaser photos:

I have already inquired and reserved at the newly renovated McDonalds Quezon Avenue Branch for my daughter's 4th birthday party on December 11. Paid 3k as reservation fee, deductable from the total party amount. I haven't chosen what foods to get pa, will come back next month for follow up. The function room can accommodate upto 80 pax. Availed of their Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Theme. Good news is, they are open for any cake suppliers as long as the cake will not be served to the guests. That's good because I am eyeing Ms Jen of The Pastry Chef to be my daughter's supplier. Bad news is...they have an accredited supplier for the balloon decors, photo-video, photobooth, face painter and glitter tattoo, and other party items. Name is F-Colors Balloons and Party Needs (saw the website at multiply). Kainis! I have my own photographer sana eh. =((((

^F-colors was the supplier for my daughter's party last July. Macky the owner is madaling kausap. And i think sulit na din packages nila. I got a cheaper package  that was not in their website. I'll PM you the links to some pictures

yun lang alam ko. help naman. iterested ako malaman kung ano pang theme ng ibang chains para makadecide ako kung san ang party ni baby.

also, possible bang hindi kumuha ng party favors sa fastfood chain kung wala sila ng theme na gusto mo - like polka dots, rainbow, safari?

may ibang fastfood chain na okay lang if you don't avail the party favors, sis. depends din on the branch. sa shakey's branch that we chose, required to avail of the party amenities and we need to choose between barney and justice league lang for the themes. bawal ibang character themes.

Rod on Oct 8, 2011.. it was a blur to me.. my sched was 530-730pm, we were late on our own party because of the rains & horrendous traffic jam brought about by the govt construction at Quezon Ave. got a photobooth pero di ko nasulit coz my guests were late. the staff were courteous naman & very amiable.. just got shocked when they told me that i can no longer extend my party because there was a later party scheduled for 8-10pm..

was thinking sino ang nagcecelebrate ng kiddie birthday ng 8-10pm??

madaming expected guests na hinde dumating. hope i can get over those who confirmed but cancelled on me the last minute,, sana they thought about my preps & effort..

Same story with sis hyder0926. My son's party was last sunday at Jollibee Harbour Square and because of unexpected rain my guests were also late for about an hour. The party was supposed to start by 2pm but started around 3pm (Filipino time). Some of the guests who confirmed didnt show-up. Instead of 100+ expected guests, only 75 persons make it.  Yung iba,nagpunta lang to eat,nagbitbit pa ng kasama na hindi namin kilala and didnt even participated in any games or manood man lang. I saw them texting and the worst is lumabas pa ng party room. I swear banned na sila forever for my son's next party:(
