sa Prulife sa pagkakaintindi ko pagexplain sakin. Sum Assured+ Death/Accident Benefits (kung meron)  + Fund Value at that time na namatay ka, Fund Value ay nakadepende sa Unit price. Ito ang makukuha ng benefeciary mo

Sum Assured is the Insurance that you pay for na kasama sa ammortization mo.

Tama ba? :)

joining!
I have VUL in sunlife. Maxilink Prime, 10 years to pay siya, and alam ko is 2 maturity niya:

1. If yung insured namatay then beneficiary will get 200% of face amount at yung fund value
2. At the age of 88 at buhay pa ang insured (for long term VUL applicable to)

And as long as you have fund with them insured ka.

at age 88 pa sis? ganun ba talga yun? Hindi ba sya tipong since 10 years to pay, you can withdraw anytime after that? or withdraw some amount  para may matira pa din para may insurance pa din?

sis sachism: you can withdraw it after 10 years but if you left some that means insured ka pa din at kumukita pa din fund mo.

I just say 88 years for those na nakakuha ng flexilink. Marami klase ng VUL merong 10 year pay at meron din matagal. Yung hubby ko he has flexilink pero matagal siya kaya lang yung agent ko says na pwede daw maging 15 years yun if my premium offset daw.

Sana my agent dito na taga sunlife to correct me if wrong.

@sachism mga 15 yata depende sa % ng funds kasi naka maximize yung insurance eh.

@ betty yes
mas maganda VUL kasi hindi agad naglalapse, mas mahal pa rin ang traditional kasi lets say you got a retirement fund tapos bumagsak ang market, the company still needs to pay you unlike sa VUL wala kang makukuha kasi nga down ang market.  ;D

^^traditional and VUL both accepts monthly payment and it applies to all company the difference is kapag traditional may interest if you opt a payment scheme other than annual, sa VUL walang interest  ;D
^^meron talagang monthly kaya lang ayaw ng mga agents kasi high risk mas malaki ang chance na maglapse.   ;D
^^call the number of the company directly and ask the customer service.  They will not lie.  ;D  I will scoop around din  ;D
mga sis, hindi ako mapakali, i just want to know the truth, kaya, i'm also sharing it with you. hehe. issue kasi sa akin ang honesty ng agent ko, so as one of the advises here, tumawag ako mismo sa SUNLIFE customer service (849-9888) to verify kung totoo nga sinasabi ng agent ko, and i found out na truthful naman mga statements ng agent ko, like:

1. QUARTERLY po ang minimum schedule nila for premium payments, NOT monthly, this is for both trad and VUL
Pero with other traditional products like SSS+ (Sun Smart Starter Plus), ito naman yung may endowment, ibig sabihin na after a specific number of years (4 or 6 years ata), may FIXED amount na makukuha ang policy owner. Whether bagsak or mataas ang market, FIXED amount siya, so nasa company ang risk, kaya ito mas MAHAL than VUL.

sana nakatulong yung info.

Sa Monday, Philam Customer Service naman tatawagan ko. (Sana nagsasbai rin ng totoo agent ko dito) Teehee!

di naman mas maganda ang VUL. mas maganda sya in good times at mas bad sya in bad times. mas risky sya kasi nagf fluctuate ang value nya. unlike traditional, may guaranteed amount.

@betty guaranteed if yun ang nakalagay sa plan..check the contract...kapag walang nakalagay it means hindi guaranteed.  ;D
Through the years I would say PRULIFE is the cheapest kahit may iba akong plan sa ibang company bumabalik pa rin ako sa PRULIFE.  I don't get kasi basta basta I get at least proposals from 3 companies before I decide.
