To All Lipa-Batangas Bride-to-be, beware of Frocks Couture. The owner is one hell of an a**hole!
I regret the day I trusted him. I booked him 8 months before our wedding and I had my first fitting 8 days before the big day!!! The constant follow ups did not work. He keeps on saying trust him etc etc. And to my biggest dismay, the output was too far from my peg!!! We were supposedly not to get the gown and not pay him but he threatened us. He said he'll come and will make me wear the gown he made. An air headed b*tch.

Hi mga sis! newbie here. we're planning for a civil wedding muna and gusto ni boyfriend na garden or by the pool. mga 70-80 guests lang siguro kasi we want it to be intimate and small. yung Baserri looks good. pero torn din ako between cintai or valentino. any suggestion mga sis? thank you so much in advance.

^baserri bride here. Aaahhh, the view by the pool in Casa Blanca is perfect for a sunset ceremony! Overlooking Mount Malarayat. I'd vote for Baserri syempre. Cintai is very beautiful too but over the top expensive, while Valentino naman is so-so lang. Just a common resort, although super affordable ang price. Baserri is the best choice for me.

Basseri is the new place to be nga sa Lipa! A friend of mine got married last week and they had their reception there. Ang nice! Mahal din ha kung tutuusin. Parang ka-level na ng Tagaytay. Bumobongga na talaga ang aking bayang sinilangan! =)

Any reviews on Summit Golf and Country Club? I'm eyeing this as a wedding venue however i did not know how to contact them.

^^sis yn, agree!! I love Baserri. Actually hindi dun aang first choice ko for our wedding reception. I wanted Casa Luminaria, which is beautiful too. Pero si husband mas gusto nya sa Baserri so yun kinuha namin. No regrets and all our family loved the place too. Sobrang luwang ng rooms and relaxing talaga ang place.

^sis, for some reasons sobrang mahal na din ng OTD coord sa Lipa. Ewan ko ba. Haha! Chalebrations for example, nasa 15-20k OTD lang yan. Halos ganyan din price ni Franco Dimayuga. Sila yung mga kilala na events coordinator sa Lipa. Kami, we got Janet Arias, he/she is from Rosario and way cheaper (base cost is 5k, + whatever add ons you want). Di naman kami nadisappoint.

This thread was really helpful in my current wedding suppliers scouting. In fairness, mahirap pala talaga magbook ng wedding in Lipa lalo na sa venue.. So to fellow soon-to-be brides, please book early, madame man na church in lipa, and maraming venue choices, mabilis maubos mga slot specially on saturday weddings.

Sad, i think need ko na talaga lumabas ng lipa city to be able to book my venue on my desired date.. =(

Napakadami namang church sa Lipa, ikaw mamimili talaga pero pinaka sikat dyan sa ngayon yung St. Therese. Pero ako, I would choose San Sebastian Cathedral kasi napaka ganda ng simbahan nayun... malaki, mahaba. Yun ngalang madalas madaming tao kasi nasa bayan talaga sya. Madami din mga chapel sa bawat barangay like sa amin sa Tambo, maganda ang parokya dun. Meron din sa bandang Antipolo, at madami pang iba.

^tama, maganda ang St. Therese. Isa yun sa mga pinagpilian namin, cons nya for me is masikip ang parking and walang view sa labas for photo ops. Hehe.

Sa San Sebastian naman, ang ganda ng church, very picturesque, tapos ang haba ng aisle. But it was too big for my liking. Yun din ang cons, masikip yung labas kasi nasa downtown, tapos Sunday pa naman wedding namin. Kaya we crossed it out.

^^We were married at the Parish of Mary Mediatrix in Antipolo. Not our first choice but we definitely loved it. Simple lang, not too big, al fresco, maluwag ang parking and ang laki ng open space for photo ops.

^ along Tambo, may kaunting papasok. Opposite yung dating barangay hall, sa may basketball court. Makalampas ng star toll kung tama ang tanda ko.

^di napost reply ko but those mentioned churches were fully booked on desired date. Currently na book ko na ang Immaculate Conception, Mataas na Kahoy. For those brides to be, may bridal fair ngayon until sunday in SM Lipa.
