BTW, for lights and sounds equipment, I recommend Ray Mayo. Maganda gamit nila, he was recommended by Francisbrew =). His numbers are 09192666940 / 09158837941.

hello yoyomasterpups, as wedding coordinator from Lipa I can reccomend Chalebrations, sila yung OTD namin and okay talaga, siguro madaming palpak dun if wala sila so thankful kami, you can check their FB page if you want. As of the tent supplier I think may nabanggit sila sa amin dati pero we didn't need them so di ko na tanda yung sinabi nya


As for the venues naman mga sis, yung sa amin sa Anfa Royale Hotel, may packages sila na pwede nyong pagpilian. We decided na sa indoor na lang para safe since di kami sure anong weather meron pag June although one of our choices din yung Shercon resort, yung bago nilang Pavillion na overlooking taal lake.
Medyo mahigpit yung Anfa sa ibang bagay pero napapagusapan naman together with the owner yung needs nyo, maganda naman kinalabasan (if you want to check our SDE/OSV http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qi0eYeEVy50). Sa food nila, wala kaming masabi masarap lahat, kahit mga guests namin yun yung feedback.
As for the makeup artist sorry wala akong mairecommend, taga Pampanga kasi yung amin si taga dun si hubby

Sinong reco nyo for Flowers na based in Lipa? Currently eyeing Flowers and Greens, any feedback?

Also, I'm planning to have Batangas coffee as gifts/favors. Any advise on where I can get a good deal on this?

So far these are my suppliers/details:
Church - St. Therese of The Child Jesus (would like to verify kung 1K lang talaga ang fee dun.. Yun lang siningil nila eh, and are there any restrictions here that I should know?)

Reception - Corito's Garden. Main reason why we're having the wedding in Lipa, I fell in love with the place!

Catering - Passion Cooks. They're not from Lipa but if you want a beautiful wedding, get them!

Lights n Sounds - Ray Mayo (Lipa-based). Highly recommended by a friend from the music industry. They're package is very sulit. Ganda ng mga gamit sabi ni H2B who's also a musician. Contact # is 09192666940 / 09758837941.

Tent - Frelud's Tents. They're based in Batangas City. Affordable at hindi cheap-looking ang tents (unlike yung mga ginagamit sa fiesta)

Coordinator - Alpa / Marj. I chose a Manila-based coordinator instead na from Lipa. Naisip ko kase we need to meet often before the wedding, kesa naman pabalik-balik ako ng Lipa. And besides, Alpha/Marj has lots of good reviews here =)

My other suppliers are based in Manila na (i.e. Gown - Jazel Sy, HMUA - Obet Federico, Photo- Jaja Samaniego, Video- Joel Salindong, Cake- Joy San Gabriel)

^ Sis, kelan ang wedding mo? Ako baka sa March na in San Sebastian. Ang konti kasi ng lalakaran sa st therese sayang ang gown. I'm from Manila si fiance ang taga batangas.

I really wanted din sana sa coritos pero parang super big yung pavillion nila and pricey though gusto ko sa may garden near that. eh parang mainit naman - pag pavillion kasi kinuha ko sobrang laki naman eh ang guests ko 150 lang.
Sa St. Therese - parang hindi 1k when we inquired more than that pa eh.
Iniisip ko pa if I'll get my other suppliers in Manila since baka sobrang mahal. Tyring to stay within budget kasi sabi ko kay fiance, we need to make tipid din since we plan to go to italy for the honeymoon.
I'm also eyeing passion cooks - may additional charge ba sila na binigay sa yo?

@Supladitang cute, our wedding is on Dec 16, 2012. I first thought of the cathedral pero I chose St. Therese when I saw it, ang solemn and cozy kasi nung feel vs the grandness of the Cathedral. Na-realize ko na mas gusto ko yun.

The pavillion at Corito's is really pricey kaya sa garden lang kami, we hired a tent supplier na lang. 150 rin ang guests ko.

Yes, hindi 1k yung St. Therese, it's 7K. Mura pa rin compared sa iba.

As much as possible, get your suppliers (those na kailangan mag set-up like lights n sounds, flowers, etc) sa Lipa because makakatipid ka sa out-of-town fees. I got Flowers & Greens for my flowers, sila lang ang may magandang shop along Morada, very nice. 20K for church & entourage.

Out-of-town fee of Passion Cooks is 12K.

@Rachabel, nice naman ng Indigo Pavilions, bago lang to? May accommodations din ba sila? Maganda sa St. Therese! Almost cried when I saw it, may view pa ng Malarayat Golf course.

Speaking of accommodation, may alam kayo na murang accommodation or transient house sa Lipa? Yung tipong kasya maramihan (around 6 pax), yung mura lang, para sa mga kabanda ni H2B. Thanks!

yoyomasterpups - yung garden ba sa may magandang door na katabi ng grand pavillion yung kinuha mo? i'm eyeing that one kasi wedding was postponed and moved to the first week of may instead of march. kaya lang baka mainitan ang guests. I'm actually looking for a 6-pax room that's 3K or under, they will stay for 1 day lang naman and mga cowboy nman mga to. Parang ok na yung bluroze farm, may team room nga sila 2.8K lang. kahit hindi aircon.

@ Supladitang cute, the garden I got is the one above where the monkey is, it's near the pool. I'm renting tents, panigurado sa ulan at init. It's December so hopefully hindi humid ang weather. I'll share the post-wedding photos.

Ok na ok ang Passion Cooks. I just attended my friend's wedding, sila din nag cater and true enough, everything they say about PC is accurate! The set-up is heavenly, rustic/barn ang theme and the details are impeccable. And the food is great, happy lahat. The service is also good. Wala akong maipintas talaga.

My photo/video and wedding attire are from Manila. Importante kasi tong mga to kaya hindi pwede tipirin mashado. Photo is Jaja Samaniego, Video is Joel Salindong. They're really good, check their sites. Bridal Gown is Jazel Sy while the rest of the entourage will be made by my aunt. Groom's suit is Onesimus (nabili namin 50% off! as in 3K lang).
