Nakasanayan namin kasi, not sure if applies ba talaga, pag yung friend mong guy kinuha mong ninong yung wife niya considered ninang na rin tawag.. Medyo confused lang ako kasi kami ni hubby may kumukuha sa amin as ninong and ninang considering na mag asawa na kami.. And magpapabinyag din kasi kami, plan sana namin get yung friend ko as ninang kaso dami na nakaline up as ninang sa ninong kami kulang kaya si hubby nalang sana niya kunin naming ninong since close din naman kami both sa kanila.. Ganon ba talaga yun or ang ninong at ninang lang talaga yung kung sino ang nasa list? And okay lang naman ba tawagin din ninang or ninong yung asawa ng ninong at ninang (paulit-ulit! )

Hi Girls....ask ko lang about St. therese of the child jesus....do they still rent out yung mga function halls nila? Has anyone tried to have their child's baptism sa St therese of the child jesus? How was it and how much? Thanks!

Hello. I'm a newbie. I just want to ask, has anyone held a baptism at Precious Moments Showroom and Restaurant in Buendia? The place is quaint kasi, the packages are reasonable and the theme is perfect for a baptism. I just don't know how the service and food are. Thanks!

Mga sis question lang.. Is it true na hindi pwede magpabinyag pag hindi mo parish yung Church? Papabinyag kasi ako sa 2nd child ko this December, balak ko sa Alabang magpabinyag (Im from Las Pinas), sabi ng relatives ko hindi daw pwede. How true ba ito? Thanks for the help!

My son's baptism will be this Feb. 2. Church is at Twin Hearts inside Philam QC then reception lunch sa Tramway Garden Timog Ave. Pasok lahat sa budget ko na 30k, swerte at sponsored ng sisters at brother ko ang cake at balloons. Will post some ratings when the event is finished.

I think pwede naman. Need mo lang yata ng permit from your parish. Depends din kasi sa church you plan to have your child baptized in. For example, I know Don Bosco Makati allows non-parishioners but with permit lang. You can check with the church in Alabang what their requirements are.

Hi mommies! What can you suggest as giveaway for godparents, something edible sana. Dito kasi sa bulacan my pabilao for godparents, usually  huge chunk of lechon with embotido, leche flan and suman, but since madami godparents si baby, medyo hassle na to prep those, so yung madali na Lang sana! thanks in advance mommies!

Sis its true if you are from Muntinlupa, P'que and Las pInas di ka pwedeng magpabinyag outside your parish based on their mutual circular. Nakalagay yan sa mga websites ng mga parishes within these three cities. Kaya kami ni hubby address ko nung single pa ako ang gagamitin para makapag pabinyag kami either Fernbrooks or St James kasi address namin ni hubby ngayon is Las Pinas but my parent's house is in Bacoor eh parish nila hubby ginagawa as in major construction so di maganda sa picture if ever....if Bacoor ang gagamitin namin pwede kami sa St james of Fernbrook. Circular 2003 ata based ang ruling nila.../.

Sharing my supplier's ratings for my daughter's baptism last December 23, 2012 @ Christ the King Church/ Luke Hall. I hope I've posted in the right thread:

Church: Christ the King Church - Baptismal Area

Its located in the lower area of the church. The place is nice especially if you want privacy. Malamig ang aircon. Ok lang kahit ilang godparents. Mabait si father. the ceremony lasted siguro more than 15 minutes. On time si father and he is mabait to let us wait for a few more minutes for our guests to arrive. When he went inside the chapel konti lang guests namin so pinayagan nya kami to extend. we started siguro 10:45am when the ceremony should start at 10:30. Fault ko rin since I indicated in the invites yung 10:30 so a lot of my guests assumed na 11am ang start. tsk tsk filipino time talaga. hehe.Overall, nice experience. Too bad we don't have as much pics dito since sobrang konti namin. out of the 10 godparents, 2 lang ang real. the rest proxy muna.

When I was booking the slot for the baptism, ang priority ko is the availability of the chapel and my husband's sched. Di ko mashado priority ang reception so I just booked whatever hall is available. Too bad yung mas malaking hall booked na so i was left with luke hall. it can only accommodate 80 pax but i had 120 guests so imagine super siksikan tlaga inside. buti na lang madel's was able to fit 80 tables,dessert buffet table, baby corner and gift area. Malamig naman yung aircon khit it was only opened 30 mins before. The buffet area was placed outside yung parang foyer and ok lang naman din kasi cozy yung labas ng hall.

well what can i say, syempre superb! nakatipid na ako kasi i am hitting two birds with one stone. caterer and stylist in one. During preps mode I already knew the theme for my baby's baptism: Vintage Lace and Roses. Madaling kausap si anj. During our initial food tasting we already discussed the theme, the menu,the colors, everything. I want to settle na kasi in advance kasi i know come december busy na sha. actually, siningit lang nya my daughter's event. They have a wedding that afternoon but sobrang nakiusap talaga ako to accommodate me. I like her idea sa baby corner wherein we will use my baby's things.from socks, shoes onesies etc. I don't have to worry about the set up kasi i know they will deliver. During the event, sobrang nice ng setup nila. I have one guest gustong ipagaya setup sa baby corner. The guests centerpiece are lace umbrellas. Classy ng setup. FOod is delicious as well. though may comment lang my aunt na nakasama namin during the food tasting. parang what we tasted during the ft is mas masarap compared to what was served during the event. oh well di kami mashado nakakain pero we had a lot of leftovers. dami serving nila.

they came in early and shoot na agad. too bad lang madel's is not yet done with the setup pa kaya konti lang pics nila of the entire venue. ok naman mga shots nila and grabe ang energy. kami ang sumusuko magpa picture pero sila go lang. they're nice to work with din naman. yun nga lang syemper they are junior photogs so meron mga shots na sana nakunan nila ng ganitong angle. and parang di lahat nakuhanan ng pics. konti lang sa ceremony. ok lang naman since nakuhanan naman important part.

very professional. I didnt pay any downpayment and yet booked na kami. they were early sa event. weng and coki were there to supervise the event. high tech equipments. nice print outs. dami nagpakuha dito. sila na nga nagre-request sa mga guests ko to line up pa for the booth. i was offering them to eat pero nakatutok talaga sila. i think nag extend pa kami ng konti but weng did not charge us. when they gave pa the cds they gave us two magnetic pics - our family pic. will definitely get them on my daughter's first bday.

Hi sis CHApter46, have the same dilemma with the Churches here in Las Pinas. We live in BFRV and I wanted sana to have my baby baptized in Alabang din. The problem is, I have inquired with churches in both Alabang and Las Pinas but they said that the Archdiocese of Paranaque released a circular na di na pwedeng mag-accept ng non-parishioners who wanted to be baptized sa mga churches na sakop nila (MuntiParLas). I am having a hard time securing a permit too kasi hindi daw sila nagbibigay ng permit kasi supposedly dapat daw sa mismong church ng community mo ikaw magpapabinyag. But I'm still pursuing to have my baby baptized on our church of choice.

sisses help naman pls. overseas kasi kami pero gusto sana namin magpabinyag sa pinas this coming april. we are eyeing san agustin church simply because we had our church wedding there. baka may nakakaalam kung ano requirements nila. kelan dapat magpareserve? mass baptism lang ba sila or merong special? sisses, need help, please. is there a church that does not require permit from your home parish? mga bandang makati to south area na church lang. Just want to have a 2nd and 3rd choice na church if in case we can't get through with Santuario. Many thanks!

I have one month to go before my baby's baptism. dapat sana sa conti's ang reception pero naisip ko pwede din akong magpacater. so far from what i read here, ok ang passion cook, verleo and madel's as caterer. will talk to these caterers and whoever gives me the best package will be my choice i'm playing around the budget of 30k.
