mommies, how early wedeng mabinyagan si bab? pwede bang days old pa lang sya e pabibinyagan na? advisabe ba un considering na wala pa syang immunuzation (excepet for the one given immedately after birth) tnx

sis ale1, it depends sainyo. meron iba gusto pabinyagan agad yung baby nila kahit days old pa lang eh. pero for me safest na yung 2-4 months old. para di na masyadong fragile si baby. pag binyag kasi di maiiwasan yung bubuhat buhatin sya ng mga tao. parang nakakatakot pa ilabas si baby pag days old pa lang eh. yung baby ko turning 3 months old nung bininyagan.

March 25th Target date ku for my baby's baptismal..she'll be on her 8th month know it's quite late pero plan ko na siya ever since nasa tiyan ko pa siya para sabay sila ng bday ni hubby and practically speaking isahang gastos na lang lol 
excited much pero at the same time pressured sa outcome..oh well have to be the best mom for our kids
I'm still looking for a better caterer with a resonable price on a tight budget din kase so DIY yung mga basic needs but sa food i wanted to make it sulit sa mga guests hehe..Good luck satin!

sis yung sa columns, im not sure about the parking. sa residences, sa greenbelt 2 nagpark guests ko since katapat lang yun ng venue ko. may 1 parking slot na allotted for us lang. you can try galeria de magallanes, one event per day lang sila, so free na ingress and egress. ang babayaran mo lang is yung hours ng event proper. 2600/hour sya the last time i inquired. booked na kasi yun nung nag inquire ako kaya di ko nakuha eh. you will be needing a sponsor din dun.

My baby's Christening is this Sunday na. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. It'll be at Christ The King at Greenmeadows. Mass baptism na lang nyan coz all weekend dates of this month for the solo baptism were taken na. Sayang. Then our reception will be at the St. Mark and St. Matthew function rooms of the church and I got verleo to cater our event. I really hope everything goes well!

pa join. meron bang centralised website ng mga RC churches either at Manila/Roxas Blvd area or Ortigas area? Gusto ko sana check which ones do special baptismal rites kasi tight ang time namin, biglaan ang plan to have a baptism.

Reception: Harbor View Bistro (hindi ko na alam magkano binayaran ni sister)
Cake: Icings n' Sprinkles (by Ana Baluyut), 8" round cake + cupcakes + cookie lollies, 4900
Balloons: 10k events, clusters for the ceiling + table centerpieces + pair of pillar, 3600
Souvenirs: Clay Keychains by Erosejazz, 2000
Invitations and Tarpaulin: DIY (gift ko na)

40k din lahat, malaki sa reception, may inuman din kasi. ok yung venue, may free videoke pa, mahilig kumanta relatives namin kaya sulit ang videoke, hehe...

wala ako photos sa church, super traffic kasi, kaya late tuloy kami, sa reception na lang kami dumiretso.

excited ako sa mga DIYS from invitations to souvenirs lol first time to organize such event for my lil one..hope ok sa budget good luck to us mommies!

My baby was finally baptized yesterday. He's finally a Catholic! I'm so happy evrythiNg went well. He was baptized at Christ the King at Greenmeadows, mass baptism nga lang. We would've like to have had the solo baptism for him so the ceremonies would've been more solemn though. There were 5 other babies kasi kaya medyo maraming people masyado. We then had the reception at the St. Mark and St. Matthew function rooms. We approximately had 80guests and buti na lang the place didn't seem too cramped naman. The buffet table was setup in the veranda rin kasi kaya masa may space for the tables of the guests. We had 8 tables lang which was enough to occupy the function rooms, any more than 8 10-seater tables would've made the place cramped na. We spent P29,950 for everything. P1,100 for the mass baptism, P3,000 for the 3-hr stay at the function room and P25,850 for the food from verleo.

Our guests loved the food. we had steamed rice, baked beef lasagna, ox tongue in mushroom sauce, brocolli with crabmeat and asparagus, bbq spareribs, baked salmon ith spinach cream sauce, buko lychee and a halo- halo station. They especially kept going back for the baked salmon. The sauce was separated from the salmon so it didn't overpower the taste of the fish. The halo-halo was a hit too coz it had a lot of ingredients. Verleo's foods are really woRth your money kasi they're very affordable and super sarap pa. My brother gave us pa little devils which are mini cakes from the chocolate kiss cafe which the guests liked very much too and had even brought home pa. I saw pa nga in their website that the little devios are very affordable, P980 lang for a dozen. You guys might wanna try em out. My husband and i were so pleased with the outcome of our baby's christening!
