dun nga ako medyo nag iisip, kase syempre i want to assume that i would live longer than 65 hehe, though some say that we dont need to be insured by that age since our children would be on their own na, eh ayoko naman maburden sila sa estate tax. gusto ko din naman ng malaking coverage dahil madami akong anak, of course syempre yung minimal din ang premium....magulo ba? hehe

I assume mas gusto mo ng VUL? Yan din reasons namin bakit yun ang kinuha ni hubby. Mas mura ang regular pay VUL kesa sa limited pay. Try to ask around for quotes. ;)

Me and my husband is considering BPI save up, up to 5x ng deposit mo ang insurance or 10x if the cause of death is accident, pero up to 2M maximum coverage lang or double that if accident.
Tapos yung PERA bill naman if you die walang estate tax for the beneficiary so our heirs can also use it to pay for estate tax.
For income protection naman, term is good I think.

buti na lang nakita ko pa yung card ko sa BPI save up na yan, yan kase ang proof of insurance. maganda to kung dito park ang emergency fund tas insured ka pa.

btw, this is a good read http://www.moneysense.gov.sg/ ang galing lang ng government nila talagang they invest in financial knowledge for the people

I have a BPI save up. I did not know may insurance pala yung Save up. Sparked an insurance article in my mind na naman. Good to know pala to. I availed it before I was conscious of my finances. Thanks for sharing this sis. :)

Question pala sis, automatic ba to yung insurance sa BPI Save up once meron ka nang ganito? Or do you have to apply for it?

what's TGFI?

The Global Filipino Investors

In case you didn't know. There's a thing they call
google. You should try it  ;)

Looked up TGFI on google and it's literally the first
match.

Re Aviva,

The brochure specifically mentions Philippines.
I wonder how you'd pay for this?
And can the insurance claim be processed via
email or would the benificiary have to go to SG.
