^ To answer your queries sis:

1. 32
2. Nag iincrease sya after 10 years pero di naman ganun kalaki, depende sa term na kinuha mo.

I read this on their website:

"THE FINANCIAL PRODUCTS OF BPI-PHILAM LIFE ASSURANCE CORPORATION ARE NOT INSURED BY THE PHILIPPINE DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORPORATION AND ARE NOT GUARANTEED BY THE BANK OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS."

So medyo napapaisip ako tuloy ngayon. Pano kaya kung all of a sudden bigla mag close, wala tayo habol????

Sorry kung medyo nega ako, we have to take into considerations lang [textspeak!] mga possible scenarios na pwedeng mangyari.. Sayang naman ang money natin diba...

Thank you ulit Sis! And I hope may makapag enlighten satin ng issue na toh...

Sis try mo din mag pa quote sa Philam at Insular. According kay Sir mxherr5, okay yung Insular I-Insure or Philam Guardian na term life... ^_^

The issue parati with getting term vs VUL vs Whole life policy is:

The need of an individual basically differ sa isa't-isa. term insurance may not be the right answer for people with permanent need for it. Some people lose the foresight of addressing other people's needs. and by giving mismatch solution may only bring regret in the end.

Yup sis Ayala-owned naman e. Meron din ako educ plan sa kanila c/o Ayala Life days ko pa kinuha pero ngayon nga BPI-Philam na. Sabi skin nung bancassurance sales exec pwede din iconvert and Life Protect sa whole life after a certain number of years.

@ luscious, its not that cheap. I-Insure was cheaper if
I remember correctly.

Since we're talking about an affliate company of Philam,
then its rates are probably close to Philam's

Guardian 65 for a 24F with a face amount of 1M was
6k. So I guess your 10year term with 1M face amount
for a 32F costing 6k per year sounds about right.

Remember, the cheapest insurance product is Yearly
Renewable Term. The longer the term period the pricier
its going to get.

Yearly Renewable Term is the real cost of your insurance,
If you go for 5/10/20years, whatever, they will smoothen
your payment out to where you are paying more in the first
years then probably less in the latter years(Which would
be covered by your overpayment in the earlier years)

@chefron, correct sis, IC is a regulator like BSP for banks
and SEC for businesses.

PDIC is solely an insurance company for bank deposit products.

Insurance companies are also free to insure with Re-insurance
companies. Well actually we only have one here in the Phil.
And note I said, they are free to do so but aren't obligated
unlike banks where they have to pay PDIC premiums whether
they like it or not.

@swit, if you look at your statements #2 and #3, there's
actually no difference. You still get 1M if you die with
both VUL and traditional Whole Life and you still get
whatever you had saved i.e. the cash value with traditional WL
or fund value with VUL.

The main difference between the two is one word, guaranteed
cash values. With traditional WL, the company guarantees that
no matter what happens, you'll get this cash value at year 1,2,3,etc

While with VUL, you are betting that you can do better and would
be willing to bear the risk to prove it.

in addition sa VUL kasi since nakabase yan sa NAV per day, if something happens to you and maganda ang market, ok rin ang makukuha ng beneficiary mo,pero kung bagsak ang market din doon affected ang vul mo,maganda kung nakuha mo sa mababang price yan at matagal ka nang nag invest at least na outgrow mo ang markert, long term ika nga.....Hindi ako against sa vul kasi meron ako nyan one time ko lang nabayaran at ayaw ko ng dagdagan or top up,kasi mahal ang vul and part of that goes to your insurance....pero kanya kanya namn kasi yan...instead kumuha ako ng insurance na pag may nangyari sa akin saka lang sila may makuha, the rest lagay ko sa mutual fund, hinati ko na lang budget ko for that...tama sila sa nagsasabi na maganda ang may insurance especially kung breadwinner ka.....

Hello Belle. Can you send me a quote for I-Insure 15 and 65 years coverage.
I'm female turning 25 this July 7. Thanks! :-)

Hi sisses, I'm Belle frm INsular Life;  for those who are interested Insular Life products, i can give u a free presentation, just give me ur name and birthdate😉, and then well set an appointment to meet
We have term insurance, whole life, with endowment also VULs.

Term insurance is good and affordable kaya lang po tumataas po din an premium base sa age and u r proected only for a limited time😃 what is good naman po to whole life mejo mas mahal nga lang po sya sa term but u r protected naman po till age 99 and a limited pay of 5,10 or 20 years.

Just be careful lang po sa mga insurance company na mapipili nyo. Like or example Nippon Insurance is one of the top insurance comp. way back 80's and 90s. Years ago the owners sold it yuchengco grp of comp then sold again to grepa life. Now grepa life is bought by Sun life 😄.

Please msg me if u have queries. Thank u and God bless us all

Ok siguro na kumuha na lang ng term life let's say insured for 15yrs. Then, invest the money: stocks, uitf, mutual fund, sda etc. Pagdating ng 55 kukuha naman ng Health Insurance life Insular I-Heal or Manulife HealthPlus hehe Idea ko lang naman ito. ;D

Wahhh I was also set in getting BPI Philam's Life Protect. 6K annual premium for 29 y/o female. But now naiintriga na ako sa Insular I-Insure. Back to the drawing board nanaman ako.

Howell.
