I'm meeting an agent later from Prulife UK regarding Retirement Fund. Hopefully it's affordable enough. :)

Hi sissies! I also got a PruLife retirement fund na rin.

I used to have AXA life but turns out it was too traditional for me and doesn't meet what I will need for my future, lugi ako sa kanila so I cut my AXA, money mistake since I lost about a year's worth of premium sa kanila... I hate it... But anyway I turned to PruLife and now I guess I'm gonna have what I want.

I opened PruLife retirement just 2 months ago so I can't really tell you how it's doing, but the projections I calculated and my financial adviser's forecast also helped me give hope that I will break even by the time I'm 35. Then from there I can earn interest or dividends na until I retire :)

I've talked to PruLife agents, like about 8 of them, even upper management and I've never met an insurance company so consistent with caring for their clients. Hindi yong pa OA na caring2x kuno or patronizing, but they are direct and they do listen to what you want, where you want to get in life, and my financial adviser is a Financial Management graduate din. He talks to me about his own personal experience. even informal convo and we also talk about investing. It's really nice.

anyway sabi saken nung agent from Prulife, tama daw na unahin yung life insurance bago yung retirement fund. :)

You cannot compare one company from the other since each company is unique. The other may give a cheaper premium compare to the other. Some may give maximum protection. some may give greater perceived benefits, while some may give better service than the other.

kahit single naman kailangan mo ng life insurance, yun nga lang hindi ganun kalaki ang kailangan mong coverage because only a few depends on you or pwede na ring pambayad sa burol (naku!!ang morbid ko naman) knock on wood. ;)

Moreso, nasa life insurance company di naman kasi. kaya "insurance", dapat maasahan mo when you need them. so, kahit mas mahal minsan ang premium, kung sure ka naman na andyan pa sila kahit na 60yo ka na, di ok. kasi minsan mura nga ang premium, pero hindi ka makaguarantee if they are still around 50 years from now to provide you your claims, bale wala rin.

1st question -kelangan pa ba ng life insurance if hubby has the following:

1. educ plan for kid#1 + life insurance for 5 yrs - Philamlife
2. residential lot + life insurance for 5yrs - Ayalalife

2nd question - ok lang kaya na kukuha si hubby ng two more educ plans + life insurance for 5yrs for our kid#2 and kid#3 at retirement fund naman ang kukunin ko?

Btw, we both have Medical Insurance from our respective companies. Actually, more than 2 years ko na yata kinakausap si Ms. Rain about getting a life insurance + VUL from Sunlife... Pero, biglaan lang yun pagkuha ng residential lot kasi hehe.

TIA!

yung educ plus life insurance, sino ang insured yung bata or yung payor? usually kase its the plan thats insured, meaning, when the payor dies the policy is paid up.

at paki linaw yung sa life insurance nung bumili kayo ng lupa, hindi mri yan? meaning the buyer is insured same as the amount of the property so that when he dies fully paid na din yun.

if parehong oo ang sagot, better get another insurance, kahit term para sainyo merong maiwang cash
