napansin kong wala pang thread ng Antique dito kaya gumawa na ako, Antique is part of Panay Island malapit lang din sa boracay marami din tourist spot na actually di pa msyado alam ng lahat. Tulad na lang ng mga Island na malapit Malalison Island,Batbatan Island. At ang sumisikat na Tibiao, Adventure capital ng Antique na pwede kang mag kayak, Fish spa (na may mga levels) at ang Kawa Hot Bath parang sauna.

Both of my parents are from Antique .. I've been to Antique a couple of times .. My aunt told us na sa tibiao nga daw maraming must see places .. kaso hindi rin kami makalibot .. pero next time pag umuwi ulit kami sa Antique mag lilibot na ako .. Maraming places dito na must see daw .. na hindi pa nadidiscover .. kung may budget lang ang local government nila for sure magbo-bloom ang province na ito ..

^yup sis sobrang dami nga kulang sa promotion yung LGU nila duon unspoiled pa talaga. kulang 1 month para lumibot.

Hi! My family's from Antique. Puwede sumakay ng plane to Iloilo then ride the vans to Antique. Must-see din yung Nogas Island. Sayang hindi pa ako nakarating dun. Ginawa namin last 2008, sumakay ng RORO. Ang saya ng road trip from Cavite-Batangas-Mindoro-Aklan-Antique. Before bumalik ng Cavite, we went to Boracay. I miss Antique.

^yup sis pwede rin sa iloilo masarap din ang byahe sa RORO lalo na yung mahilig sa adventure at sightseeing habang bumabyahe, pero kung gusto mabilisan plane na lang.

i was born in anini-y, antique!!! studied there for a year. natry ko na din magRORO. from san jose to cubao. haba nga lang ng biyahe!

been to nogas island pero sooooo matagal na. hanap lang kami ng spot sa ilalim ng mga puno-puno at doon mag picnic picnic! hindi siya white sand, more on white pebbles, best for snorkeling.

^ Ah so Caticlan is the nearest airport. Sayang. Mahirap kasi makatyempo ng seat sale to Caticlan eh. And di ko naman kailangan ng tside trip to Boracay; I try to go there every year. Other options?

^^^dumaan kasi kami ng mindoro that time, sis kaya nagdrive dad ko. stuck lang kami sa roxas,mindoro kasi hindi namin naabutan ang biyahe ng morning. 8pm pa daw. siguro kasi that time may laban si pacquiao. nanood yata mga tao.

yun lang mahirap sa RORO. masarap magbiyahe ng madaling araw sa aklan and antique though may times na scary din kasi pag-alis namin ng port, naghiwa-hiwalay na mga cars going to different destinations. exciting, fun and scary! sarap ulitin with the whole family. pag road trip din pala, make sure na maraming gas. muntik na kami maubusan. sarado pa naman gas stations dun ng late night till dawn.

^^from valderrama naman family ng mom ko, sis. may villa valderrama resort din dun. galing sa batis yung water. malamig. hindi lang talaga ganun kadeveloped. sana nga gawan ng paraan ng local government kasi maraming puwedeng puntahan sa antique.

^ask ko sa mom ko, sis. uuwi sila next week dun. the last time kasi nagtravel ako from iloilo was in 1998. sa old airport pa ang baba dati ng plane tapos road trip muna kami to batad, iloilo before going to antique.

Nun bata pa ako by ship kami pag umuuwi sa Antique before kasi di pa uso yun RORO .. nakapag RORO din ako once .. ok din kasi yun bus dadaan mismo sa house na father side ko sa Tibiao and daan din sa house ng mother side ko sa Belison .. Kaso ayoko ng RORO sobrang hirap sa akin yun byahe na yun .. ilang times kami akyat baba ng bus transfer ng barko .. ang tagal din ng byahe kaya mahirap makatulog sa byahe sakit sa likod at leeg .. $:-\$ hehe! Kaya everytime na pupunta kami sa Antique we took a plane to Iloilo then bus going to Antique .. I think it takes 2-3hours .. not sure!

Sana lang talaga magkaroon ng budget para naman magbloom yun province na to .. for sure papatok sa tourist yan .. Kung lahat lang ng provinces e nagbibigyan ng pansin uunlad ang bawat isa sa atin e ..

^kaya sis hindi advisable ang RORO sa sobrang daming dala kahit pwede mo pa syang iwan sa bus yung mga gamit kaya kami 2 bags lang palagi, and oo di ka makakatulog ng maayos ako kasi di talaga natutulog sa byahe hehe... sa montenegro lines upo lang talaga pero sa starlight may higaan makakatulog ka wala nga lang linens.

Sabi nga ng aunt ko 2-3 hours ang travel time from iloilo. 4 hours if hanggang sa valderrama kasi malayo. saan may magagandang beaches? sa pandan daw may resorts eh.

yung bus or van from iloilo to antique is every when biyahe? we'll arrive in iloilo kasi by 10am and we want to be in antique na by lunchtime. kaya ba yun? also, malayo pa ba ang san jose to patnongon? thanks!

not sure yung oras ng bus from iloilo to antique, pero yung san jose to patnogon is 1 hr or less.

naku so dahil sa patnongon kame mga 4 hrs pala travel namin from iloilo to patnongon.=/ tagal

^sis hindi yun aabutin ng 4hrs. I've stayed in Antique before for 1 year. From Iloilo 2hrs lang by car to San Jose. From San Jose to patnongon less than 30mins

i saw photos of phaidon beach resort in one of my officemates' fb. ang ganda! and parang sila lang ang tao dun. parang gusto ko tuloy pumunta dun instead of boracay sa august. kaso, malayo din ba to from kalibo? kasi yung inbound namin mla-caticlan. yung outbound kalibo-clark
