You can hide naman some friends' updates. Double click "Most Recent" tapos edit options.. You can hide posts from certain people there.

Ang ayoko din 'yung post ng post ng photos with their things. I had (had kasi I deleted her na lol) a friend na ang hilig mag-post ng photos niya with Heinz ketchup, Lays Stax, her new Havaianas.. Kailangan malaman ng buong mundo lahat ng gamit mo teh??

what about posting pictures sa lamay hanggang ilibing? tipong lahat ng naiwan ng taong namatay nagpapicture sa kabaong nya tapos naka smile pa sila. ewan ko hindi ko lang ma gets.

hate ko un pa like ng like para manalo sa contest, kagigil then pag natalo puro post ng nega sa mga hindi nag like kaasar.

mga online seller na hindi ko kilala pero na ta tag ka.

One of the reason din why i prefer not posting personal stuff, kasi nga naman marami talagang inggetera and judgemental, like yung isang dinelete ko..lagi nyang post (wow, nakaiphone 4, magbayad ka muna ng utang) (bago kotse ah, dami naman utang!) etc.. Hay naku! Pareho sila nung poster na parang mga ewan..ang bitter nya! Ano naman kung bago gadgets or whatnot, malay nya ba kung bigay yun or whatever.. Eto namang si poster kasi kung makapost naman parang blog review..i just dont see the point talaga 

Hinahanap ko yang settings where pwede mamili ng di magaappear sa newsfeed pero di ko makita

posting prayers. usually Catholics gumagawa nito. wala pa akong naencounter na ibang religion na gumagawa nyan. I have nothing against Catholics, I am one myself. I just think that prayers should be done in silence. I mean even if we are attending mass, we don't divulge our personal prayers out loud. it even is cited in the Bible:

“And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward."

I think posting a personal prayer on facebook is equivalent to being hypocritical, due to the public seeing your prayer.

korek! some people are judgemental talaga and inggetera, meron talaga nagpopost ng mga gadgets and branded stuff nila pero not trying to brag about them naman. if you know the person really well hindi mo naman iisipin na ganun sya. nasa tao na siguro yun kung ano iisipin nya sa mga posts.

pero meron talaga na halata ng nagpapapansin at parang ewan lang.

^^same sentiments..di ko lang memorize yang verse na yan verbatim but i know that by heart..Kaya i cringe everytime may mga nagppray na papansin..

Di ko pa din maturn off some of my friends' post kasi di lumalabas dito sa iphone, yung report as spam lang..? Tinatamad pa ko mag laptop.. Heheh. Yung isa ko SIL gusto ko i-hide at naiirita ako sa textspeak nya!  I think yung mga mahilig magtextspeak nakalimutan na mag spelling, para nga naman hindi halata wrong spelling sila!

my friends say i have no mercy when i delete people on Facebook. i do it so often that according to one of those Facebook apps, my most used status was -- "Friend, Deleted."

i delete them when --

they try to sell me stuff. like fuucking contact lenses and LV bags.

when they post a stupid greeting on holidays and tag all their friends in it.

when they post a sh!t load of their ugly baby photos expecting people to go "Awwww!". yes, i said it: ugly babies.

i delete those who proclaim their love to their fugly husbands/boyfriends too. i don't fuucking care if you've been together for 3 frickin months, girlfriend.

i delete people who type in jejemon.

i delete people with sh!tty grammar.

i delete people who give TMI on their statuses.

i delete those who sound stupid.

i delete people who posts quotes every fuuckin time.

i delete people who claim to love a shitty movie on their statuses.

i delete people who post stupid links or videos to bad music.



as you can see, i'm pretty shallow. and i guess i've weeded out most of them, because i havent deleted a "friend" for a while now.

^whoa buti na lang hindi kita friend sis, kundi baka tawagin mo din ugly babies ko!

Ako naman i post pics of my babies kasi marami gusto makakita na friends and relatives especially yung mga nasa abroad. Hindi na ata uso email ngayon mga pictures, hassle din lalo kung andami mo kamaganak noh!

Thats why din i dont add random people kahit nagpipilit ako iadd, kasi bakit? Pampadami friends? Ngek!
Mga kabatch ko ng HS ina-accept ko kahit hindi ko close kasi i have fond memories from HS, some of these people nakakasalamuha ko din kahit hindi kami BFF. Eh pero kung annoying na pala sila, eh hindi kawalan sa friendslist ko 

Isa pang nakakainis eh yung pupurihin mo.. "ang cute naman ng baby mo!" sagot sayo: "sa picture lang yan" or "ganda mo naman dito" reply "haggard nga ko dyan eh" tapos yung mga caption na "ang chaka ko dito" "haggard, walang makeup" etc.. parang..Eh pangit pala kayo sa mga pictures nyo bakit nyo pinost!
Pa-cute masyado na obviously kaya naman pinost picture na yun eh nagaandahan sila sa kuha nila..sino ba naman gusto magpost ng photo na panget??

Pinaka-pet  peeve: i-aadd ako sa FB then gagawing private ang profile. I hardly add people on Fb, and it annoys the hell out of me when people set their profiles to private, when in fact they added me in the FIRST PLACE.  Eh di wag nila ako i-add.  Pag ganyan, dinedelete ko agad. Hindi ko kawalan.

Isa pa, yung araw-araw nag-popost ng baby pics.  I mean there's nothing wrong about being proud of your kid. Pero araw-araw na lang may picture eh. Nakakainis.  Pag ganyan, hinihide ko yung tao.  Isa pa yung mga stage mothers na kahit di ko close eh minemessage or tinatag ako na i-like yung link ng baby contest.

Mga emo/drama queen sa FB, hinihide ko ang status nila sa FB.

*status update na kung nasaan sila, kung gaano sila kabadtrip, lahat ng frustrations sa FB binubuhos.
*mga parinig na kaaway, napaka negative kasi.
*mga pictures na kuha sa restaurant pati yong mga kinakain.
*mga bag bg/gf or husband/wife na "sweet" eh pwede mo naman sabihin personally.
*mga planking photos
*mga solo photos na sunod sunod ang pagkakuha. Gamit yata dito yong "shutter" sa camera
*mga quotes na pa-good effect na pinopost lang kasi wala magawa

Isa pa yang quotes..nagpopost din ako minsan pero may isa naka add sa akin mga 6-8 quotes a day ata magpost..tapos parang hindi naman nya naiintindihan post nya kasi minsan magkacontradict yung mga quotes 
At minsan magpopost yun ng quotes na feeling nya eh hindi halatang kinopya lang sa isang site!

- parang report card na nilalagay pa yung scores ng anak nya sa exams/quizzes
- textspeak and jejemon
- mga nagla-like ng sarili nilang posts
- mga vanity photos. as in solo pictures in 1 album tas ina-update pa/dinadagdagan.
- mga status na "busy" daw sila pero may time na magpost sa fb? heller?

Ako naman, I check-in to places (not with foursquare) for the reason na baka meron friend or classmates na nasa same area or location din, we can send a pm and meet-up. Another reason naman is that parang palatandaan ko sya on something. Di kasi ako mahilig magsulat like sa mga diaries, etc. I've tried it before sa mobile phone kaya lang nung nag-crash ang phone, burado lahat. At least pag sa facebook, may record ako pati ng time. Pero check-in lang talaga ha and no other things written on the post. Meron kasi yung iba na todo explanation pa talaga sa check-ins nila And most of all, hindi naman 5-10 check-in posts in a day (parang medyo OA na yun) kasi I don't want to flood naman the news feed, to the extent na baka mag-isip na sya na hindi kanyang account yung naka-log in lol!

Maybe we all have reasons for doing things pero meron talaga iba na hindi mo na maisip ang dahilan ng pag-post nya. Ang pinaka nakakainis talaga for me eh yung mga nila-like yung own status nila. Hindi ko kasi maisip kung bakit pa need na i-like. The fact na they've posted a link or a status, very obvious naman that they like it na. Tapos nung ask ko why, ang sabi was maganda daw kasi, etc. Well, di ko pa din talaga ma-gets. Another na ayaw ko is yung mga may inaaway sa mga posts and ang malala pa eh hindi naman nila friend sa facebook yung sinasabihan. Kaya sabi ko dun sa fb friend ko na yun na I think it's much better kung kausapin na lang yung person directly para magkaintindihan sila. Kasi ba naman, as in araw-araw puro ganun posts nya. Lahat patama sa kinakainisan nya  na wala naman sa list of fb friends nya tapos naka-private naman profile nya lol!

Meron akong cousin (3rd or 4th na ata) i wanted so bad to hide her updates on my newsfeed kasi lahat na lang ng prayers nya naka-post, ultimo pag fry ng hotdog pinapasalamat nya na hindi nasunog!  She's a nice girl dont get me wrong, but yun nga..nakakakilabot mga ganung post eh. Di ko sya ma-hide kasi i like her other updates, she's a good photographer kasi.

Meron pa, yung mga nile-label mga sarili nila.. (Showstopper, Headturner, The Gorgeous Chorva, Brattinela, IT Girl) okaaaaay... narcissistic much??  kahit siguro sandamakmak pa nagsasabi you're pretty and such, there's no need to label yourself, nagmumukha tuloy insecure deep inside.
Edi mas lalo kung ang nagle-label eh NO-NO talaga?  heheh sorry, lets admit it..nakakairita naman talaga kahit may "K" pa yung nagle-label

well actually kanya kanya lang yan trip freedom of expression kasi nga wall naman daw nila yun ang ginagawa ko Hide all post by this person lalo na yung bigo sa pagibig yung emo nakakairita yun.

nakakainis lang kasi minsan ko na nga lang buksan fb ko ganun pa makikita ko sa feed,sabi nga nila magparamdam daw ako sa fb sabi ko naman mag-oonline lang ako to post photos pero hindi palagi as in ang dalang.

shock absorber talaga ang FB wall, ang akin lang naman be responsible of what you post hindi lahat ng oras dapat ipaalam ang ginagawa.

nakakatawa naman kayo.... ang daming hide and dinedelete dahil sa posts and pictures... eh bakit pa kayo ng FB? sorry ha, what is FB for you guys? di ako nang aaway ha. sa akin lang kase. FB is fun kase nakikita natin mga old friends and relatives posting pictures. siguro yung mga nagbebenta nakakaines yun, pero yung makita mo old friends mo sa new life nya diba ang saya? regarding sa status updates nakakaines din yung may kaaway at nag paparinig palage agree ako jan. pero malay natin kung wala shang ibang friends na makakausap kundi virtual friends lang? well, opinion ko lang naman to. wag sana magagalit kayo.  peace.

nakakatawa naman kayo.... ang daming hide and dinedelete dahil sa posts and pictures... eh bakit pa kayo ng FB?

Nag FB ako to stay in touch and updated with my friends (old and new) and relatives.

Wala naman ako nabasa ditong nagsasabing they HATE facebook. We just chose to delete/hide people who posts nonesense stuff. 

Kung old classmate ko lang naman ang nasa ganung category, di kawalan i-delete on my list.
Kung old friend or relatives, i just hide them. Profile nya yun yes and wala ako karapatan idictate ano gusto nya i-post and yun trip nya. But i dont need his/her annoying flooding updates on my newsfeed. I believe that doesn't make us "nakakatawa"
