Any inputs mga sis (and bro)? I'm planning on buying my first car pero I'm having hesitation with Honda City 2011. I have zero knowledge with the engine, batteries, gas (I even don't know how to drive!). But I'm planning on getting driving training via honda training center dito sa south. Yun lang I'm not sure if Honda city is better than Ford fiesta, vios or lancer in terms of maintenance and parts (in the event a need arises). THanks!

i highly recommend honda city. mine's honda city 2007. very reliable car and fuel efficient naman. we always have it serviced at honda cars manila(once in libis pero never again, manila na lang) medyo alaga kaya siguro no problems pa so far kahit 4 y/o car na sya.

^^hi sis, we just got our brand new honda city 2011 last month and matipid siya sa gas. Mas maluwag siya sa loob kesa sa vios as what we have observe nung nagche check kami ng mga kotse of what to buy. Pati ang compartment nya maluwag din. so far okay naman ang car namin at malapit na ibalik sa casa dahil mag 1000km na siya ang need i-tune up. si hubby kasi nag aasikaso lahat at sinasabi nya lang sa akin dahil nandito ako overseas.

Hubby and I are planning to buy Honda City, mas mura din kasi siya ng 100-200k compared to Civic. Ok din kasi ang frame maganda tignan, yun nga lang maliit ba ang mugs nito? I saw kasi City last week malaki naman ang gulong, I just dont know kung nagpalit na yun ng rim.

i have a 2009 honda city 1.3 s a/t. i got it as soon as it came out in january 2009. before that i had a 2003 honda city 1.3s a/t, i got it in july 2003 also as soon as it came out.

i think the city is value for money. it's fuel efficient and overall maganda talaga siya. my husband and i are loyal honda customers and we also get good service.

ang ayaw ko lang sa city ay ang backseat. hindi kasi comfy. parang halos bench type siya. kung kasama ang baby namin, i usually stay at the back with her in the carseat and the yaya and masikip and yon nga, hindi comfy. but when i'm driving, ok lang naman ang driver's seat for me.

My first car was also a 2004 Honda City, walang tatalo sa legroom sa backseat and sa trunk!

Just some comments:
1. Aircon - sabagay brand new naman ang bibilhin mo Sis xtine. But usually pag 4 years and so na yung car, medyo umiinit na ang aircon niya
2. Window - eto daw yung problem nung mga first release nung iDSI, maraming units ang may palyadong window, it gets stuck

Pero all in all, Honda City is really a great car.

^ super laki nga ng trunk ng city.

Sana lang the new one also came with ult seats like the old one. Yung nabababa o natataas ang backseat.

Normally ba, what month nagse-sale or promo ang Honda? Some auto companies have that di ba, yung may mga discounts and promos sila on a given month that year? Like this month of September, Ford naka-promo.

whats the difference between the 2010? mine is 2010 and i super love it

ayaw ko nga pinapadrive sa driver namin kasi grabe ang apak sa gas at lagi ko pinapagalitan. matipid sa gas, and maluwag. i love my car

^^hindi yata nagse-sale ang honda sis. Pero pag meron sana may magpost. Last summer, kahit man lang LTO reg ayaw ibigay as freebie kasi cash buy naman. Honda quezon ave pala ito nirefer sa akin ng isa GTer rin.

Anyone who can recommend a Honda Agent na trustworthy (meaning hindi lang comission habol)?
I read somewhere na maganda yung 2012 city ngayon and mura...the AT price is only 798K and eyeing to buy this one instead of VIOS kasi halos magka price na sila (to think mas mataas ang presyo ng Honda kapag binenta mo)

gaano ba katagal ang processing pag bumili ng honda car?

i mean, from the time na makabayad ng downpayment, mga ilang days/weeks bago makuha yung unit?

depende sis kung may available unit. minsan inaabot ng months lalo na kung di pa nakaka pag produce ng unit yung planta sa Thailand, iniimport nila sa Japan yung unit siyempre by bulk din hindi paisa isa kaya natatagalan siguro kasi iniipon ang orders.
