We stayed here overnight last Friday, walk-in lang kami bec my PF reservation got messty and I ahd to change itinerary on the last minute. Luckily, there was a Triple De Luxe room available that time. And luckily again, there was a 20% discount.  Am not sure if this bec of their promo (but they said promo is until July 31 only, right?) OR.. was it bec I was with my senior citizen parents.  May discount ba sa hotel rooms ang sr. citizen?

sis kikay iska, pm mo sakin email mo para ma-email ko sayo yung pictures. di ko maalala kung double o queen pero malaki kasi bf ko, nagkasya naman at mejo maluwag pa para sa aming 2 yung double economy room.

sa mga sis na nagbayad na, wag nyo na lang i-fax. i-scan then email nyo na lang kay ms.joy yung deposit slip kasi minsan napuputol yung pagsend thru fax. you can also email her yung transaction details ng deposit slip for faster tracking at para kung di man nya makita agad yung scanned deposit slip eh mabe-verify na nya agad sa bank yung payment.

yes sis, they give sr citizen discounts.  We stayed in a triple economy room and just added 1 extra person.  Joy gave us a surprise really, I thought 3 single beds lang yung room, but she gave us 2 single beds and 1 queen bed, a most comforting stay for us indeed.  Very accomodating c Joy talaga.

Sol, maganda naman yun deluxe. dun nagstay sila Mars dati. LCD yun TV dun. double yun bed.

@ sis pandada, same tayo ng room dati. Triple economy din kami last month. 2 single + 1 double bed din sya tapos LCD yun TV hehe. sana yun double economy na ibigay nila sa kin next week e maganda din. nas-stress na ako sa pagf-follow up e. huhu!

depende kung san ka magbu-book, how far/near ang booking date mo sa stay mo doon, at kugn ilang tao ang nasa room.  Nasa 2100/pax overnight ang pinakamurang rate na nakita ko.  Try PF thread for more inputs.

Friday pa ko nagdeposit at nag email ng deposit slip ko. walang reply.

Monday tinawagan ko, wala daw si Joy dun nakauwi na so iche-check na lang daw nila at itetext ako.

Tuesday hintay ako ng hintay walang text or email man lang. tumawag ulit ako at yun nakausap ko hindi alam yun concern ko. iche-check na lang daw at itetext ako since wala dun yun in-charge sa pagcheck ng emails nila.

Wednesday na today, wala pa rin text or email reply. so tumawag na naman ako. pangatlong tawag ko na ito sa cellphone nila. as usual wala na naman alam yun nakausap ko sa concern ko. ano ba yun di ba? hindi ba nila nililista at ibinibilin sa mga next na nakashift na may pending silang dapat icheck at dapat i-text or replyan na email from their customers? as usual ang sagot sa kin, iche-check daw nila at itetext ako! nakakainis na! tinext ko na lahat ng details ko. nagtext back wala daw sila nareceive na email. sabi ko Friday ko inemail yun deposit slip. full payment yun. ireresend ko ba? ok daw pakiresend. so niresend ko kanina tapos sabi ko sa text pls confirm receipt.

Nagtext back, ack receipt daw. sabi ko pakireply-an din yun email. kanina pang 2pm yun. 5pm na ngayon wala pa rin reply sa email. ano ba naman yan! nakakawalang gana!

pasensya na mga sis. nakakainis na kasi. nakakaubos ng load at ng pasensya. haaay!

To those going to Davao, try nyo din Nanay Bebeng Restaurant - they have a buffet for P278 for person. si Kuya Joey ang nagrecommend ng place na 'to. included na sa price ang dessert (their leche flan is so good!) and melon juice (nasa punch bowl, kanya-kanyang kuha hehe). When we ate there, the food items were garlic fried chicken, inihaw na panga ng tuna, kare-kare (tripe, beef and vegetables in separate containers), pancit, steamed tilapia with a soy-based sauce, pork adobo (loved this), lechon paksiw. you can also make your own salads, and there are fresh fruits and kakanin. this restaurant is on the same street as Lachi's (Marfori Heights), so after ng Nanay Bebeng's, we went to Lachi's to buy durian cheesecake.

hello guys! just wanna share my weekend experience in Samal Island last august 6-8.
FYI this is a company trip so wala akong ginastos lahat c/o our office, kaya ko alam ang mga prices kasi i'm one of the organizers :-)

august 6
- boats schedule to and from Samal Island is only from 5:00am to 5:30pm, mandated by Marina
- dahil gabi na ang arrival namin, ng-hire kami ng van na mgdadala sa amin sa Paradise Island...Php1,600.00 1-way hangang Paradise na, kasama na sa 1.6k yung fare ng van and passengers sa RORO...
- from airport we travelled to Sasa Barge Docking in Km 11
- then travelled by sea via the Roro to Babak district
- travel time is just 15-20mins
- from Babak Wharf bumaba kami sa roro then rode the van again to Paradise Island Beach Resort and 5-10 mins nasa resort na kami....rough road pala ang daan to paradise
- upon arrival meron ng mga crew na kumuha ng mga bags namin and nilagay ang bags namin sa cart/kariton kasi from the gate 5mins walk pa to their reception
- we stayed at their premier room @ Php3,200 per room per day good for 2pax

*** if your coming from Sasa Wharf naman going to Paradise Island 10-15 mins lang and boat fare is Php15 only, entrance fee for day tour is Php150.00
*** Paradise is beside Blue Jaz Resort, yung resort na may malaking slide...
- 10 minutes walk to the beach from the room, malayo pa siya sa beach and maliit lang ang shore and rocky and madaming dead corals sa shore
- FOOD - you cannot bring food inside the resort...pero dahil hindi naman sila ngchecheck ng luggages/bags upon check in nailusot ko yung junk foods na baon ko
- super like ko yung grilled squid nila, yun lang :-)

August 7
dahil outing nga namin meron kaming boot camp in the morning, lumabas kami sa resort to jog...dahil wala naman kaming dalang rubber shooes I used my aqua shoes and yung iba flip flops lang ang gamit... eh ang daan sa caliclic is sobrang mabato [textspeak!] nkakatusok talaga...yun halos lahat kami sumakit ang mga talampakan
- breakfast in paradise is so expensive the filipino breakfast is php275 tapos yung choice kong bangus is sobrang liit...
- mas ok yung mga ala carte meals nila, sharing for 2-3 persons pero [textspeak!] up to 5 persons
- we had the inland tour at around 1pm - spots to visit Monfort Bat Cave and Hagimit Falls - van hire is php2.5k for 10pax and multicab is php1.5k for 12pax
- from Paradise 20-30 mins rough road and dusty ride to Monfort Bat Cave entrance is Php40
- from Monfort Bat Cave to Hagimit Falls is 20mins the roas is well paved , environmental fee is php5, entrance is php40, parking fee is php20 and table with big umbrella rental is php150
- we added Maxima Aqua Fun to our tour kaya we added php200 per vehicle
- from hagimit travel time is just 15mins to Maxima and the road to Maxima is rough & dusty again
- we arrived @ 4:30pm entrance is php150 na lang from php200

I learned from Kuya driver that Pearl Farm is 10kms away from Maxima, so sa lahat ng gustong mag day tour sa Pearl Farm and wants to go out of the resort to try Maxima and Hagimit prepare yourself for a 10km rough & dusty road while riding a habal-habal

August 8
- left Paradise @ 9am, road the boat to Sasa Wharf, 10-15 mins travel
- rode a van to the airport, 30mins travel with traffic

dahil officemates ko kasama ko, I realized na:
- masarap talaga ang libre hehe
- kahit pala libre mas enjoy kapag travel buddies ang kasama hehe
