Rates of Pangulasia Villa starts at 120thou per night as per our tour guide. If you stay in Pangulasia, you can also enjoy the other islands (Miniloc, Lagen and Apulit) pero for those who are staying in Miniloc, Lagen or Apulit, hindi sila pwede pumunta ng Pangulasia.

Wow! That's so expensive. Baka Apulit lang carry ng budget namin. hehe. I saw a travel guide to Apulit (http://roadtripsapinas.blogspot.com/2012/11/apulit-island-el-nido-resort-travel.html) and parang ang ganda nga ng place. Do you have travel guide too for Lagen? Thanks in advance!

Sorry slightly OT but I just want to share my horrible restaurant experience in l Nido. To all the girls planning to visit El Nido, I beg you please not to eat at the restaurant named "BLUE AZUL". Here, I encountered the MOST RUDE/BASTOS guy I've ever met. (I googled a bit and found out he's the owner/chef of the place and his name is Libby). Please take time to read my story and just tell me if I'm the one wrong.

My bf (who's Dutch) and I planned to eat dinner somewhere not beachfront for a change. We've noticed this restaurant because of their big and unique signboard and decided to try it here. When we got there, there were 2 foreign guests who were leaving  already and this man was very jolly and saying salamat po and goodnight something, which for me seems good and normal since they were being nice to their customers. Then after sitting down (not even a minute), a young boy approached us to get our order for drinks. I asked for iced tea and fresh calamansi juice for bf which costs 40php each.

We want to have chicken that night and we've seen on their painted menu on the wall that they serve chicken combo meals. Here's what the menu looks like as I remember:

Mixed 2 pcs. combo  275php
-With biscuit or french fries + Regular DRINKS

and then there's also this other one:

Libby's Fried Chicken
Mixed 2 pcs. with biscuit or french fires  209php

First, I asked what's the difference of the two, and he said only difference is that the 1st one has a free drink and the 2nd one doesn't. And next, I asked if it's 2 drinks since it's written with regular free DRINKS and he said no. And then I said that our drinks only cost 40php so if we order the 1st one which is 275+40 it will cost us 315php while if we just take the 2nd one which is the same, 209+80 for the 2 drinks, it will only cost us 289php. As a customer, of course you will choose the cheaper one for the same menu item since dun ka mas makakatipid and why do you need to pay extra for the same food? (common sense na lang diba?) So I told him that I'll just order for the 209php chicken and the two drinks separately and I think this irked him. I gave my order nicely and he sarcastically said to me in a loud voice "SANA YUMAMAN KA SA GINAGAWA MO". I was shocked when I heard him say that! It's never the right way to treat a customer and first time kong napagsabihan and nabastos ng ganun. Believe me mga sis, I'm not a sensitive person but I almost burst into tears when I heard that. I just made my point and ako pa nagmukhang mali. I want to walk out right then and there but I kept my cool and gave them a chance baka sakaling bumawi sa food, but when the food came it was really an uber disappointment and so not worth it. The 2pcs chicken that theyre claiming to be is just a small thigh part ng chicken na hinati sa gitna to make it look like 2 pcs and breaded and fried, and a hamburger bun. Believe me but the Chickenjoy tastes million times better. We also ordered fresh vegetable spring rolls thinking it's like lumpiang shanghai na maliliit but it's 2 pieces of lumpia the length of lumpiang sariwa but thinner, wherein the wrapper is parang crepe, and the inside of only togue and sitaw and the whole thing is deep-fried in OIL! When we opened it, talagang mantika yung gulay! Bf and I were both disappointed and decided not to eat the lumpia and just ate the small chicken and burger bun.
BASTOS na nga and walang modo, super fail pa ang food. For the price and quality I better advise you to eat at the beachfront area. Or if you like to try other places, Altrove has nice pizzas and also Squidos has reasonable but delicious menu items as well. Pasensya na medyo napahaba, napa-rant lang ako bigla grabe naman kasi .

we were there last Nov 2-4 , and i can say that El Nido is so amazing and so magnificent.

medyo pangit lang ang experience ko sa mga bato, ang dami kong gasgas dahil sa mga bato.

we will definitely go back to el nido.

regarding our expenses: package kinuha namin for tours a and c plus El Nido to PPS vv and whole time na service na namin yung van nung nag-1 day stay kami sa PPS, we are group of 9... 3200 each kami. including super sarap na mga lunch meals.


sa inn: we stayed at bulskamp, medyo malayo sa shore pero since we were on a super tight budget, go lang.


sa food: IBR is one of the cheapest and 24/7 na kainan, kumain kami 1st night sa seaslug and 2nd night sa El Nido Corner, Danish yung owner. the food is good sa parehong resto, average 250 per person.


we will definitely go back here.

like you, puro gasgas din ang binti ko. haha nakakatakot magsnorkel ang babaw kasi ng tubig at anjan lang ang mga dead corals.

uy kumain din kami sa el nido corner on our 3rd night. pernes malaki ang servings.

in time, mauumpisahan ko din ang blog ko about el nido. tapusin ko muna ang south korea series

Sisses, sa ako puwede magbook ng mga tours na yung 600-900/person lang? Yung bahala na ang operator na maghanap ng kasama namin. 2 pax lang kasi kami. We're planning to do Tour A and Tour C. Thanks!

Thanks, sis! I plan to spend 3 full days in El Nido. Here's our itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in PPS 17:15
           Dinner @ Kalui
           10PM- Leave for El Nido

Day 2: 4AM- Arrival in El Nido
           4-6AM- What to do?
           8:00AM- Early check-in
           Rest and whole day bumming in El Nido town

Day 3- Tour A

Day 4- Tour B
           10PM- Leave for PPS

Day 5- 5AM- Arrival in PPS
           City Tour/ UGR
           20:00-- Leave for Manila

Or keri lang na pagbaliktarin namin yung Day 4 and Day 2? Upon arrival, Tour agad tapos last day nalang yung rest and bum. What do you think?

for me mas ok nga pagbaligtarin mo yung day 2 and 4. para at least makapahinga kayo before going back to PPS kasi may back to back pa pala na tour kayo pagdating ng PPS. although, mukhang amazing race yung part na city tour-UGR on your last day tapos may flight pa kayo pabalik ng manila that night

Where did you stay pala? I'm thinking Alternative Inn kasi ang cute nung pods/nests nila pero may mga nabasa kasi akong bad reviews eh...

^^^sis we stayed at marina garden. pero yung isang kakilala ko sa may OG's pension nagstay katabi lang ng marina. then katabi nun yung ricsons. mukhang ok naman silang 3

^^ dun nagstay dati iyong mga kasama namin sa tour. mukhang ok naman iyong room. mas mura doon kesa sa mga beachfront na resort. iyon nga lang medyo lalakad ka ng ilang minuto papuntang beachfront. malapit lang sya sa inakyatan naming cliff.

hi po  , nasa palawan po kami ng dec 22 to 27. ask ko lang kung ok lang ba na dun na lang humanap ng boat para sa honda bay island hopping since diy po kasi kami. worry ko kasi baka maubusan kami ng boat dahil peak season.

agahan nyo na lang sis ang pagdating sa wharf para may makuha kayong boat. mga 6 or 7 nandun na dapat kayo para makapaglibot din kayo at maenjoy nyo ang islands/spots doon.

kilala mo naman ako may kabagalan ako sa pag-akyat pero di ito simpleng akyat lang. kasi matatalas ang mga bato bato. kaya ingat sa pag-akyat at pagbaba na rin. siguro mga 30mins-1hour ang paakyat. meron akong pics dun sa blog ko.
