we went to elnido via pps last aug2-5. from the airport, ngtricycle lang kami papunta sa san jose terminal (P120). Dapat we will be riding the RORO bus kaso super late so ngvan na lang kami (Eulen Joy P600 pag galing airport/ 500 pag galing sa terminal) PAgdating ng elnido, nagwalk-in lang kami sa ipil, entalula, marina, waterfront at garnet. We chose GARNET HOTEL (P1200/2pax) kasi may sarili na TV sa room at malinis cr hehe. ok din rooms sa ipil kaso medyo malayo at wala sariling tv sa room. sa 2nd day namin, tour A (P600) then 3rd day tour C (P900). may mga islands kaming di napuntahan kasi super lakas ng hangin. advice ko lang sa island hopping, tanong muna kayo kung malaki yung bangka. nung nag tour A kasi kami muntik na lumubog yung sinasakyan namin, buti na lang madami bangka nun at nakita kami. nakakainlove ang elnido! at isa pa sa nagustuhan ko dun super babait ng mga tao. wala ka makikita na mamimilit sayo na bumili or magavail ng tours sa kanina.

so you mean sis, carry lang mag walk in sa mga hotels? no need na ng reservation? parang mas prefer kasi namin ni hubby na mag walk na lang eh. pero medyo afraid, baka wala kami matulugan! hehe October naman ang travel namin, so hindi madami ang tao.

Yup bago lang siya. Wala nga sila website. Nakita ko lang hotel na yun sa isang blog. Hot/cold shower at aircon na yun. Maganda room nila kasi mas bago. Di siya beachfront pero lapit lang sa beach. From terminal pwede na lakarin

thanks sis ellesor.. lumalakas loob ko na mag walk in na lang. ang dami kasi may experience na maganda lang sa pictures nila sa site pero hindi comfortable pagdating dun. so mas prefer ko na makita muna yung place. any other recommendations and tips sis.. Thanks!

I tried researching for anything specific about El Nido Resorts pero was unsuccessful kasi most of the time El Nido town and island hopping ang meron. =/ So I decided to make this thread so we can share about our experiences and tips sa 4 resorts na to ng El Nido. In my case wala ako nakita na masyado na tips dito sa GT for our trip to Apulit Island.

Anyway, share your tips and experiences here. Just arrived from Apulit Island and I must say nice yung place lalo na accommodation. Hindi ganun ka ganda beach front pero they have nice pool and mag island hopping naman. Love the water cottage. Food is not very good pero okay lang. Staff is very friendly as well.

Who here have been to Miniloc and Lagen? Hindi pa open ang Pangulasia, right?

We stayed in Lagen- Beachfront water cottage. Super ganda nong place and excellent service.. We had lunch at Miniloc and visited the Pangulasia also. Pangulasia will open by October and its the luxury resort of el nido resorts. Rates of Pangulasia Villa starts at 120thou per night as per our tour guide. If you stay in Pangulasia, you can also enjoy the other islands (Miniloc, Lagen and Apulit) pero for those who are staying in Miniloc, Lagen or Apulit, hindi sila pwede pumunta ng Pangulasia.

Our lagen trip is one of our unforgettable vacations. we love the place and the staff. Sulit naman ang bayad namin. all the water activities are for free. we were welcomed like a family

Girls, anong makikita around el nido town proper?  Wala bang mapapasyalan like city tour or any recommended places where we can eat? Also, may charge ba ang water shoes and life vest like hundred islands? Mahal ba?

^ I dont know any pasyalan, what we did nung nagpunta kami was mostly on the sea, island hopping, snorkeling, scuba diving. And probinsyang probinsya talaga yung town nila sis, so unlike boracay na madaming fast food, inuman etc. konti lang sa el nido. Walang fast food, walang atm.
Masarap yung mga food sa restos near the beach and at night nilalabas nila sa sand yung mga tables if you want to have a beer while listening to a reggae band

Life vest is free kasali sa tour package, snorkel is 100 pesos each, I brought my own water shoes kaya i dont know if may available doon, diving is 2,000 up including gears and all

^ Ah. thanks! I have my own snorkel gear yung shoes na lang siguro. Also, marami bang jelly fish. I don't know if I'll need to buy anti-jelly fish lotion eh. Iniisip ko kasi para siyang puerto princesa. Wala rin bang mabibilhan ng cashew nuts, ref magnets or any shirts na souvenir sa el nido?

sis supladitang cute no need for jellyfish lotion. di na din kami nagrent ng shoes. yung tour na kinuha namin included na snorkling gear. try mo sa artcafe, altrove, seaslug, alternative. meron mga souvenir sa artcafe kaso pricey. sa PP ka na lang bili. mas mura pati mga cashew nuts.

^ true, wala naman din kami naencounter na jellyfish nung time na nagpunta kami. there were really small ones na harmless nanghuli pa nga kami, akala ko nung una mga seaweed na lumulutang sa dagat.

Wala masyadong souvenir shops sa El nido, sa Art cafe lang din kami namili. marami naman syang tinda like keychains, magnets, shirts, bag. 200-300/shirt, 50-100 mga small trinkets. Marami din sa PP airport di ko lang alam kung mas mura or mas mahal

^mga sis, what hotel would you recommend for a honeymoon at el nido, super mahal sa el nido resorts and to think we'll just island hop the whole time.  yung with aircon and tv.  thanks.

^mas mura sa tiangge tiangge sa PP. lapit lang sa airport. mga 10-15mins na tricycle.

sis abbey 4d/3n din kami sa el nido, pero di na kami nag UR. medyo malayo kasi yung elnido kaya sinulit na namin stay dun.

^ i see. so siguro kung trip magunderground 5 days noh? para hindi bitin sa el nido. naisip ko kasi nandun na rin lang dayuhin na rin ang underground hehe. so sis ellesor, hindi na kayo nagtour kahit saglit sa pp, el nido lang talaga? (hindi naman ako ot no waaaah..)

^hindi na sis. bitin na sa oras eh. pagdating kasi namin ng PP around 10am na. byahe na kami agad papunta elnido. mga 4pm na kami nakarating. tpos nagwalk in kami para hanap ng hotel. di ko kasi nagustuhan yung ipil. ok yung room kaso medyo malayo at wala tv sa room. sa 2nd and 3rd day namin tour A and C. hapon na natatapos yung island hopping. tpos nung 4th day early morning byahe na uli papuntang PP. sa tiangge tiangge lang kami nakapunta to buy pasalubong. kung 5days kayo pwde nyo isingit yung UR.
