Hi Sis! Ang bagal nga kaya lang kasi nakakatakot yung purging stage kung gagamit ako ng solution. Dati kasi naglocal obagi ako (nakalimutan ko yung brand) eh pero after 2 weeks ang daming butlig na lumabas sa face ko. Kaya simula nun medyo naglie-low na ako sa mga solutions/obagi ganyan. hehe

^sis yajale, oily skinned ka ba? Kasi iniisip ko nga kung mag switch na ako sa solution pero wala pa akong lakas ng loob. Pero kung ano, oo gagamit ako para gumanda. Hahaha

@Cheonsa.Maggie - oo sis super oily ako..acne prone skin ako. kaya ako nag mamaxipeel kase may pimple scars ako. Mag start ka muna sa number 1 sis yung maliit lang tapos pag nasanay skin mo try mo na yung number 2 yung maliit ulit. Saka sakin sis pag napansin ko na nagdadry na sya malapit na magbalat titigil ako sa paggamit.

Sis we're the same. Oily and acne prone skin. Hmmm i'll think about it first sis. Hahaha mahirap kasi kung pabigla bigla mamaya magulat na naman skin ko tsaka yung mga pimples ko mag a attack na naman sila ng bongga! hehe thanks sa tip sis. I'll keep that in mind.

hello. maxipeel liquid gamit ko ngayon. yung number 1. since sunday ko pa siya ginagamit every night. nagkaroon kasi ako ng acne scars sa noo at sa pisngi. wala naman purging stage na naganap. wala din peeling. pero naging mahapdi na siya. tuwing naglalagay ako sa mukha ko, kailangan kaharap ko electric fan para mawala ang hapdi. sa tuwing nagsasabon din ako sa face, ramdam ko yung hapdi. i know normal lang yun. ang hinihintay ko na lang mag peel face ko. sana effective.

Ok ang maxipeel, I used level 4 before then noong phased out na, level 3 naman. The ingredients are something that dermas would use but sana minarket nila noon with a sunscreen or inemphasize nila ang importance ng sunscreen when using their product kaya medyo nagka bad impression cya with the local populace lol

Maxipeel ang dahilan ng enlarged pores ko and dark spots on some parts of my face.

I remember using it in the 90s nang sumikat ito due to my acne, I was in my 20s. Hindi maganda reaction ng skin ko, ang pagbabalat after a week parang 2 layers of skin, maski I followed what it said on the label. A dermatologist I consulted last year in Manila about the enlarged pores and dark spots asked me if I used Maxipeel when I was younger. Sabi niya sa akin it happened to a lot of his patients who were using it.

Sana maganda na formulation nito ngayon nang hindi niyo maranasan nangyari sa akin.

On a positive note, an American cousin who is half-Pinoy, half-Caucasian, used it on his acne-prone skin and was very effective. Some people of African descent even come to Filipino stores here in Sydney because it worked for lightening their skin but not to Michael Jackson levels as recommended by their kayumanggi Filipino friends.

^sis katakot naman na after so many years may ganong effect ang maxipeel. How did your derma know that maxipeel is the culprit for your enlarged pores and dark spots? So ibig sabihin madami na din sya na encounter na ganyang case para mahulaan nya na you used to be a maxipeel user? Na-explain ba nya why? Gumamit din ako neto about 7 years ago, siguro a year or two ako gumamit then nagstop ako. Ngayon sumisigaw talaga mga pores ko haha lol! So pwedeng ang paggamit ko ng maxipeel ang dahilan? my sister naman has been using this for 5-6 years now pero hindi na everyday ngayon parang nagmemaintain na lang sya. Ang ganda ng face nya nawala mga pimple marks nya ngayon at halos di visible ang pores. She's currently using maxipeel solution and facial wash. Nagbalik loob ako last year sa maxipeel kaso mas pumuti ang muka ko (which is not my goal) at mas nahalata ang mga pimple marks ko kaya tinigil ko ulit. Siguro subukan ko ulit to next time hehe. Naeengganyo kasi ako na gumamit ulit pag nakikita ko face ng sister ko.

^Heartfortress, sabi ng dermatologist it must be the hydroquinone which makes your skin more sensitive especially to the sun. Naglalagay rin ako ng sunscreen but it was the 90s, hindi pa masyado maganda ang formulation that time ng skincare products and sa Pilipinas na sobrang init pag pinawisan ka matatanggal din ang sunscreen na nilagay. Ang maxipeel that time nasa cheap plastic light green bottle, factor din siguro na pag nainitan nagiging toxic. Combo ng hydroquinone and tretinoin bad for me.

Just to clarify uli heartfortress, I noticed the enlarged pores and dark spots after using the Maxipeel in the 90s, hindi siya bigla na lang lumitaw many years after using it. Nabigla lang ako nang pumunta ako sa derma about those problems, he asked me agad kung nag-Maxipeel ako.

nahiyang ako sa maxipeel pero nagstop na ko kasi ayokong sanayin yung skin ko sa chemicals... pero  every month kapag inaatake ako ng pimples because of menstration, gumagamit ako for three days lang tapos stop na. hindi na rin nagpeel yung muka ko, siguro nasanay na din pero effective pa rin pantanggal ng pimples. btw im using #2

^ My friend uses it that way din. Mga one week, once a month, parang panggising daw ng face.

hi sissies, this is juat an ffriendly reminder foryouall. im not against maxipeel.. please test your maxipeel, if t has alcohol content. try nyo ilagay sa bulak and try sindihan ng lighter. if nagapoy, it has alcohol content which is really bad to our skin especially on our face.. kaya namumula, kasi numinipis yun skin which is not a healthy one..  ayun.

^ the redness and peeling is caused by the tretinoin. The active ingredient in maxi-peel.  They can't formulate tretinoin in water because it will oxidize faster rendering it useless. The only other liquid formulation of tretinoin I found is Airol Lotion by Lab Pierre Fabre which is also in ethyl alcohol and propylene glycol.

If you want to use tretinoin without alcohol, there are cream versions available but you'll still peel and get red, though.

para hindi masyado matapang ang maxipeel use #3 lang then mix ninyo sa Eskinol Clear mas marami ang Eskinol kaysa sa maxipeel  then kung may pimples kayo haluan ninyo ng Dalacin C capsule..

Use it once a day lang.

I started using MP #1. day 5 my sis asked me bakit madami akong blemishes. I guess ayan na nag start na sila lumabas. That night I forgot mag MP. Day 6 today.. Im planning to stop kapag naka 2  weeks nako. Ok lang kaya yun? I'll be busy kase next month ayoko namang nagpi peel ako habang busy ako. haha may sense ba sinabi ko. Anyway 2 weeks kaya ok na to see results? Gusto ko lang naman lumiwanag ang face ko. ☺
