Anyone else on Google Plus?

* Sparks
* Stream
* Hangout

Even though it's still in beta testing, it's looking pretty good. It's Google's take on social networking, where FB Lists are now Circles. And you control who's in your Circles (Friends, HS Friends, Best friends, Work Colleagues, etc) and whether your post is going to be public or limited to selected circles.

I also really like the Hangout. It's like gtalk on steroids! Great for communicating with family or long-distance friends or remote coworkers. You don't have to open skype anymore, just video chat within your browser. And you can watch Youtube videos together. I tried it last night with fiance, so fun to watch our favorite youtube videos together (Kids react!)

I'd like to keep it organized though right from the start. Any of you also on G+ and any tips on getting the best experience out of it?

Yep, I'm there too! I like the privacy options given by Google +. I also like the Circles. At least I can sort the people I know into nifty groups.

Pero nalilito pa ako. Nasanay lang siguro ako sa layout ng FB.
Halos same lang din naman kasi. You can arrange your friends din naman sa FB. May option din to limit who can view your status updates.
The only major difference is the hang out / video chat.

Or meron pang iba na hindi ko na explore?

^ May major difference ang FB sa Google +. You can filter each of your posts sa Google +. One status message can be visible to the public and the next one, only to your family. Unlike sa Facebook na isa lang ang setting ng wall mo at a given time.

You can also set that on FB di ba?

^ Sa posting direct sa wall oo but not for each posting (whole albums, photos, videos, status, liking a link in an external website etc) na di direct sa wall but lumalanbas sa wall pa rin, or each posting coming from your apps (ex Networked Blogs) from what I understand (haha sorry di ko ma-describe ng maayos). And your streams are readily available sa isang menu sa left sa Google+ unlike sa FB na you have to change each time dun sa Most Recent. I read in articles that that feature is one of Google's selling points over FB.

^^for status updates, mapipili mo pa din kung sino sa "lists" mo lang makaka kita. May option na ganon, not necessarily na wall to wall post.
For albums, may options din kung sino lang sa "lists" mo ang makaka kita.

Pero yung liking external links, di ako sure.

i also have a Google+ account. so far okay naman, parang facebook nung nagsisimula pa. no apps pa ata. ang nakikita kong okay dun is from there, you can access your gmail account, mga google docs and calendar, pati pics sa picasa. i think in the future, pati blogs hosted ng blogger, pwede na ma-access dun.

question, how do you get a vanity url? yung Google+ account ko is like a series of numbers. pwede ba i-personalize yun?
