Okay ba 'yung Mirage? My friend who recently bought an i10 told me na Mirage din daw ang first option niya, kaya lang daw narecall due to brake issues. How true?

Mirage ang option ko or a 2nd hand Beetle. Concern ko lang with the latter baka mahirapan ako maghanap ng parts kung sakaling magkaproblema siya.

^driving Mirage GLS-CVT for 4 months and super satisfied, enjoying the keyless entry, push button start, ABS, fuel efficiency and more... Regarding sa brake recall wala na po yan now dun lang sa mga naunang labas na mirage.

Planning to purchase a Mirage G4 GLS na automatic, anyone here who can share further regarding their Mirage experience? Wala naman problems? Napasilip kasi ako sa FB ng mitsubishi parang may mga complaints (although mostly sa Montero naman) na mangilan-ngilan.

Follow-up pala, and need your advices din... We got quotes from two different agents for the same model of vehicle we're eyeing. One here in Cavite, another sa malapit sa MOA. The agent in Cavite, walk-in lang kami dun, the other one kakilala namin the agent. As far as the DP is concerned, mas mababa dun sa Cavite, sa may MOA naman, mas mababa ang monthly. Another thing that makes us lean towards the agent na kilala namin is yung after sales services. Kasi may mga nababasa ako na ang problema nila is yung after sales services ng agent. In this case, since kakilala namin and the rest of hubby's angkan personally yung agent, we're thinking na mas maaasikaso kami in case magkaproblema man with the vehicle later on. Yun nga lang, medyo mas mataas ang downpayment nya pero other inclusions, same naman. Hmmmm..what do you think sisses?

Brand new man o hindi ang car na bibilhin mo, dapat may kasama kang mekaniko, or expert sa mga machines para iguide ka nia sa pagpili. Yung experties niya ang asahan mo lalo na if hindi ka familiar sa mga sasakyan. Ganun ginawa ko nung bumili ako ng scooter ko eh.

^sis IMO, mas ok mas mataas ang DP, para short loan term or low monthly rate lang, at least hindi ganon kataas ang interest
kung kakilala nyo naman yung mga agents, hindi naman siguro kayo magkakaprob sa after sales service, minsan kasi depende din sa mga dealer, may ok may hindi.

Would those who have compact cars like the Mirage, Yaris, etc. share rin yun review ninyo on what you have?  Kahit na yun mga made in China na cars so may mga comparison rin.  Would be great to have such here - though I think that should have a different thread na.

salamat jonduh! we already have a number of quotes, naka-7 na ata kami. Hehe. So yung dalawa na actually yung Top 2. Yung kakilala namin personally na agent gave us a good deal na so mukhang dun kami na talaga. Maganda din pala pag alam ng agent na madami kang kausap na iba, pagalingan sila. Hehe.

gorgeous_me: Ahhhh ganun pala yon (clueless akey. hahaha)... First time kasi namin mag-brand new vehicle. Hehe. I have read din na magastos din pala ang maintenance ng new vehicle because of monthly amort, insurance and such, pero when I think about how much we spend on old car repairs - naku e parang ganun din, ang dalas pa. At walang warning!

We already got our first brand-new car, Mirage G4 GLS-CVT. In fairness, mukhang matipid nga sya sa gas. Well ang point of comparison ko is our old Pajero so I'm not sure kung yung comparison ko e valid ba. Hehe. Pero definitely less consumption than the Pajero. Hubby has been using it daily, and he's thankful he got an automatic car naman this time, kasi sobrang traffic madalas, lalo na he is on the morning shift na.

Looks like I should start learning how to drive na din.

^I want that too! Pero yung mas maliit, the Mirage GLS 1.2 CVT. Gustong gusto ko na bumili ng car, pero it will deplete my savings pero minsan talaga, naaawa ako sa sarili ko na nagcocomute tapos dami bitbit (laptop etc). haaayyy, universe. Christmas gift mo na sa akin yung Mirage.

Uy, I don't know if this is OT or what, pero related to first-timer sa brand new car... Kanina we were traversing EDSA, specifically sa may bandang Pasay. We were flagged down dahil....charaaaan! Naka-conduction sticker daw kami. So of course we told the police officer na we still don't have the plate, dahil wala naman talaga, hanggang ngayon di pa na-issue. They asked us for the copy of the OR/CR...which unfortunately e hindi pa din nabigay ng dealer sa amin. He was saying titicketan daw kami dahil considered 'unregistered' kami, dahil one week lang daw validity ng conduction sticker, and that without the OR/CR hindi daw puede ibiyahe. I found it weird kasi....para saan ba yung conduction sticker? Since November binibiyahe na namin yung sasakyan with just the conduction sticker, NEVER as in NEVER naman kami na-flag down for that. Tapos sabi ni traffic enforcer, sige daw, pagbibigyan daw kami that time, etc. etc. I had an inkling na he was just waiting for us to 'get scared' and magbigay ng 'lagay' - which we didn't have plans of doing. May naka-experience na ba nito?

^usually sis, one week lang talaga talaga validity from the date of purchase. E ang tagal pa naman ng ORCR, kaya ang ginagawa ng mga agents is nagpeprepare ng OR for client na one week ang pagitan tapos good for one month. Photocopy lang naman yun tapos may nakatatak na certified true copy. Maybe you can also ask your agent about it. Madaya pero iwas sa mga buwaya, since hindi naman kasalanan ng client na matagal processing ng ORCR.
