*correction, future tense, pabili pa lang. ka-approve pa lang bank loan ko and toyota makati yun napili ko dealer.

paano ba makipag haggle sa freebies? like yun accessories na di common binibigay (side visor etc..), dko mapilit un marketing officer eh. hehe

Hi avagarde, check mo at least 3 other dealers, nagbabago ang deals ng mga yan.Tapos. i bluff mo, sabihin mo honda may bigay na libreng visor or binabaan ang unit. mga ganun, baka bumigay sa ganun. actually when i got my car, totoong I was caught up between corolla ang civic at honest ako sa both companies. kaya binabaan ng 2 ang mice at ang gaming deals. :-)

Ang problema lang pag pre-owned, ikaw na aabutan ng mga sira. Ganyan kasi nangyari sa amin eh, maayos yung sasakyan nung yung may-ari gumagamit, kahit i-test drive wala problema, kaso nung nagkabilihan na, parang unti-unti naglabasan yung diperensya nung sasakyan. Ewan ko pero parang may "amo" yung sasakyan. Syempre kami na nagpagawa, laki din ng nagastos namin, kaya natrauma na ako bumili ng pre-owned. Kahit na siguro umabot ng milyon yung hulugan ko, atleast wala sakit ng ulo.

Swerte ka sis amethyst028 kung wala problema yung nabili mo car.

I am also thinking about buying my first car. I'm just not sure yet if afford ng sweldo ko ngayon. Kung may idea naman kayo, range kasi ng salary ko mga 40k above, pero baka di sya enough. BTW gusto ko ng Yaris

Any idea lang if maafford ko kaya yung mga 15k/mo if ever magloan ako?.. Di ko parin sure kung ready na ko. hehe. 23 palang kasi ako pero gusto ko na sana...

sis @amethyst, hmmm.. yep minus all taxes etc. i think 40+. i am renting near the office but if i do get a car and decided not to rent, it will be from laguna to makati. sa food clothing.. well.. sa ngayon dun nauubos pera ko. lols. i think i need to discipline myself first before getting a car. kaya nakakatakot na mag loan agad. baka di ko makayanan pag nagtagal na.

sis, siguro what could help you to determine if you're ready na is by listing and computing your budget.

you can list down all your expenses in a month (food, grocery, etc), then look at how much yung pwede mo i-allot sa monthly amortization mo for the car.

also add up the new expenses pag may car ka na, like gas, toll (i'm from south too so malaki yung ina-allot ko sa toll. hehe! mahal e.), then yung insurance, maintenance and other accessories you might need in the future (e.g. car cover, alarm, other devices needed for the car -air pump, warning device, etc)

for the first year, you might get some things for free like maintenance, LTO registration, insurance so you need to compute if you can also save up/pay for these in the future.

Pero not from Toyota Makati, Toyota Manila Bay yun nakapagbigay sa akin ng unit. Parang ang tagal mo pala nag-intay, June11 pa yun last post mo na iniintay mo yun release.
